Started working security a year ago and my dad was happy I was getting my foot in the door with life, he called me when we were both on the freeway and he was with the fire crew going down to socal, he called me and asked how work was and I guess he was talking about me before calling because they were asking about me and he said to his crew he was really proud, went home with the biggest smile and wasn’t trying to cry, I’m not the best kid but I know me messing up was my fault in life and hearing my dad say that was worth more than any amount of money. Nah, he was being a teen. Teens always seek freedom and independence from their parents, but they dont realise how much freedom they already have compared to when theyll be adults. Georgie thought he was doing a good thing by offering money to help out his dad, but he doesnt realise George's pride as a father and a husband makes him unable to accept as that would be admitting he's failing to provide for his family.
