This drama is incredibly long-winded. Yes. But it deals with a topic few dramas do because it is so uncomfortable. Giving birth doesn't make you anyone's mother. It makes you a person who GAVE BIRTH. Motherhood is something you have to CLAIM. It's why those who have never given birth can still be excellent mothers; because they CLAIMED a child, arms open to receive one and the responsibility of parenthood. The bio mother in this show isn't evil like the ones in other dramas trying to sell their daughters. No, she's just a selfish b*tch. A vain narcissist desperately trying to justify abandoning her husband and daughter for her own comfort. It was appalling to watch her blame everyone and everything else but HERSELF. She was so cavalier about the life of her ex. 😒
This show could have used WAY more romance.

This is a good drama but with the FL’s character, it’s a waste. Why? Clearly, he is his saviour, she said it herself. Moreover, she also said that she wouldn’t marry someone else but, she also keeps urging the ML to just leave and be safe. WTF! I can understand that her character worries and wants the ML be safe and sound but in her words and actions, she’s not different with SFL.Listening to other people, not confident enough for the man she chose to marry; keeps on telling him to leave for his welfare, I won’t recommend this. It only means, no trust and confidence even if the ML keeps saying that the FL shouldn’t worry. It’s the same interaction w/ the ex😤
