Fantastic fascinating video , what a lovely chap he has so many great stories to share and the lady asking the questions was great ,she didn't interrupt him she let him tell his wonderful tales.
Great video. Time for me to research my history. I live outside London, my fathers side came from I O Man many years ago. Collister is the family name.
Really interesting video. I think that "in this day and age", where everything evolves at a ridiculously fast pace, we should definitely include our granparents' experiences and their memory as ethnography or they will be lost very quickly. Thank you!
I have just seen this video. I too have relatives there from old. I have a death certificate hand written from Dougles in 1895 of a relative she was only age 23. My name is Collister. Time to do some research. Also have old photos of grand father in the fields by a stone fence. Our relatives would undoubtedly have known each other.
Im a South Carolinian but thoroughly enjoyed listening to this.

10:30 does anyone know the name of this flower/weed?
It's a thistle, before the purple flowers burst out into bloom.
What if a Manx mixed with a Pict?
What an accent, its like a cross between irish, scottish and scouse. 😂
Manx, the best of the best! :)
