Honestly been thinking of getting off opera because its basically just chrome marketed to gamers, still eats tf out of your memory because its chrome based from what i've experienced.

But ofc if you just want to get away from the splash screen and dont feel/mind the memory usage chrome is the best bet (transferability and stuff). I got the last 3 weeks of a college semester but once I get a break im taking the time to transfer my book marks and spoof my opera stuff.

If you haven't seen another comment, you can delete the splash screen executable from the opera gx file list and it'll go away forever.@@CaptainLian
