I was a runner for about 38 years. I’ve been strength training now for 3 years. I’ve always considered my lower body super strong. This work out kicked me. I will be so much stronger because I found PJ
23/25 DONE! I’m doing this workout on the app, but had to come over here to RUclips because this is where it all started! I’m 51 and since I started working out with PJ 3 months ago (3 week body weight program) I 1) have more energy 2) don’t grunt when I bend over or squat to get something 3) have more lubricated joints 4) haven’t injured myself (ie thrown out my back like I did when doing other programs) 5) shoveled our driveway by myself as a surprise for my husband. Big wins- I COULD do it and I wasn’t sore the next day. Boom! Thanks, PJ. You have changed my life. I’m a fan for life!

Day 23 done! I think body weight workouts can be harder than work outs with equipment. Its like an open book test, we all think yeah that will be a breeze and nope, its always harder!
I've been neglecting my workout and doing too much computer work. This morning, I am saying goodbye to my soreness and stiffness and am starting again with this workout! Intense, but so needed, it is all positive. And yes, one big upside of the pandemic was to find you!

That was intense! My butt was cramping… never underestimate a body weight workout with you, PJ! And as for when I was 21… I existed on regular coke and Milky Way bars during college. What was I thinking? My diet has evolved quite a bit since then, thank goodness. Looking forward to day 24! 👍💪🏻

Holy WOW!! I typically do not feel my workouts (if at all) until the next day around the same time I did the workout the day before. It is 9am the next morning and my hips are not lying about yesterday workout (that I did at 530pm) Thank you so much for all of your awesome workouts!! Oh! And I just signed with Patron. I did not feel like working out this am. But my 2 year old Granddaughter said "come on Memaw you can do this" seriously how can you say no to that! I did it and it felt great!

Oh my!😰 legs shaking. I used my leg band for the floor movements, the glute lifts and frog pumps, woooooweeee! I got up to stand and walk after the streches and I thought my legs were going to cave under me😅😅😅 definitely felt the 🔥🔥🔥thruout the whole w/o.😀day 23 in the bag! This was absolutely better than doing a #shitload of lounges!😅😅😅
My butt kept cramping up ( glute max) and...holy moly! Fantastic. I hope that I can walk my dirty laundry to the laundromat without falling over. Here goes...thanks for the stories and the non-wimpy workout!
Oh my- this one was...special. You are really pulling out all the stops at the end of this challenge! These bodyweight workouts sound deceptively easy- but my poor muscles are feeling every move! And I love hearing your stories PJ- it makes it feel like I'm just working out with a friend :) (and I smoked and did lots of other stupid things in my early 20's too- thankfully a bit of wisdom came with age ;) )

WOD! I don’t want this challenge to end , I’ve enjoyed every ounce of it , specially leg days . Cardio too but legs are my absolute favorite and core is probably my weakest . Yep, I smoked too when I was 21 (currently 41) but that was me trying to look cool in front of that cheater , abusive boyfriend I had for over 5 years 😬. Now I can’t stand that smell, it gives me nausea and headache almost instantly (maybe it’s because of the memories it brings back? I don’t know 😖). Thank you PJ! You’re fun to work with , yes, your sarcasm included 💕

WOD! I don’t want this challenge to end , I’ve enjoyed every ounce of it , specially leg days . Cardio too but legs are my absolute favorite and core is probably my weakest .
Yep, I smoked too when I was 21 (currently 41) but that was me trying to look cool in front of that cheater , abusive boyfriend I had for over 5 years 😬. Now I can’t stand that smell, it gives me nausea and headache almost instantly (maybe it’s because of the memories it brings back? I don’t know 😖). Thank you PJ! You’re fun to work with , yes, your sarcasm included 💕

great session....2 things: 1: this was day 23 and I have done all the other 22 = first time for a long long long time I managed to stick to something. 2.
