It kinda is a shithole. It s a new country with a recent booming demographic and there is barely anything to see beside sand and chaotic cities with terrible urban planning. The whole country used to be a bufferzone with an extremely low population (less than 1 million) of nomads, traders and sheep herders living in tents. It has nothing to do with atlantis or whatever you re talking about.
