Oh my gosh I had been looking for this song for 6 months, ever since I started working as a carhop at Sonic. The speakers never worked so my manager fixed them because it would get awkwardly quiet when giving food to customers. Then one time while giving food, I heard this song and it was stuck on my head, but I never had the chance to Shazam it because I would only hear it when it would get really busy. The only part I could remember hearing was “secrets that we...” so I got so frustrated and just found a website that let me search by lyrics. I went through every song to finally find this one. This is the song.

My interpretation of the video is that the girl and the guy are the aspects of the same person (they often dress the same, are reflections of each other). The girl represents all that society accepts and want them to be - it looks like someone is constantly correcting, directing her, taking care of her in a patronizing way. The guy represents all that is denied or frowned upon - he's sidelined and restrained for the most of the video.

Interesting, your use of the word "respectable". It suggests something about how you judge music.
Different than Foals at the beginning or like 8 years ago, because they are all different sounds... And yet always have that Foals quality. This sound is carrying a little bit of a talking heads influence I heard on the last album. I noticed they've tamed down from some of the more busy and complex songs they used to make but still kept the essence of what made them great. Continually impressed with each new record.

So I dont understand all of youtube's recommendation for me but for some reason this one worked for me. Not only is this is great music video but the song is the best Ive heard in several ys (at least). These guys will take off like a bat out of hell in the states if they decide to tour here.
