What a great museum nice to see. A seafood lunch is always good!👍🦐😄
What a wonderful video of your hometown. I love seeing so much history of the past. My late father was a WWII veteran. Seeing the relics of long ago reminds me of how thankful I am of our freedom. I love the fact that you can enjoy seafood cooked by the sea! Thank you for sharing your hometown!👍👍👍❤❤❤
I am drooling like a boxer dog. Lovely simple bbq cooking. The military museum was interesting too and what a collection guernsey holds. Nice to see a bit more about the island and your hometown, Thankyou for sharing with us jay👍
Thanks Racheal
Thanks for taking us to the museum! I had to keep pausing the video so I could look at the stuff lol..
RAF Squadron 303 which was comprised of Polish pilots was one of the most decorated and effective Squadrons of the Battle of Britton. So much history. I thank you for the tour.
That’s interesting thanks 👍
Well done Jay showing a piece of history of Guernsey.
The rifle were black powder.
1st machine was a MG42, 2nd was a MG34.
What a meal that was, you would have to pay £100.00 over here for that.
Great video mate, really enjoyed the scenic route and the tour of the Museum.
Thanks dude today was a fun one 👌
I love your channel. My husband and I decided to go crabbing in south Texas after watching your videos. Thanks for being so knowledgeable and showing people how to do this!
when you use lemons in your cooking, if you want more juice out of them give them a quick role for about 20 seconds you get a lot more jiuce
Great tip thanks !
That museum tour was a great addition to the video. Great video as always
Man I love your Museum it's so cool, I'm a history nut. Great collection of knives gun's well everything, great museum thanks for taking me with you. Been wanting to see more of your home town.👍
Thanks for watching , I may do more of this yet 👍
Loved the tour around your island and the museum was really interesting too , Great video Jay.
Thanks David
Fantastic tour and lovely to such a beautiful island and learn more about it's history, great cook up at the end too, a bit of luxury seafood, happy days!!!
Was a fun video to make this , really random day lol thanks for watching
It was awesome getting to see that museum. There is so much history there. My favorite part was seeing the market because its great to see different places in other parts of the world.
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Thank you for the tour, very interesting. Nice change up. Thoroughly enjoyed the video .
Haha get to the chopper! Love your sense of humor brother!! And I love that you took time to show your heritage! Thank you my friend!
I have an awesome fishing trip coming up, setting up my gear as I watch this! 2.5 weeks away, and I'm getting super excited... only happens once a year so I think it's ok!
Absolutely love the touring!! Definitely do more of that! Great video
Thanks for watching , thought I’d try some different content , glad you enjoyed it
That military museum tour is amazing. Combined with my fave giant prawns😍😍😍
That was so fun to see more of the island!
In biblical times, stacking stones were used to note a place of worship, a miracle or as a way to honor God. Stacking stones is also zen. The museum was quite interesting as well. But that cook up on the beach got my tummy growling!!!!!! That looked like a mantis shrimp! Just needed a bit of sweet chili sauce to go with it all and it would really pop! Thanks for another fun video!
Hi J B!!!!!!! Colossal shrimp, king shrimp, scallops with bacon...it ALL sounds wonderful to me. And I'm a big fan of the sweet chili sauce on seafood!!!!!! 😁
OMG I'm jealous again. That looked amazing,I was eating a tin of cold beans watching this one !!!!!
Thanks Kevin , was a fun day out 👍
Beautiful scenery and the museum would be right up my hubby's alley
It was nice to see a bit of Guernsey here, fascinating little island. Would be cool if you did like a 1 hour special of Guernsey’s greatest treasures/ spots.
Nice to see different parts of the island, can’t wait to try fishing there 👍
I didn't expect to sit through you walking through the museum as I'm more of a hands-on, in-person kinda gal... also I'm American so our museums aren't nearly as extensive as this! I love your videos, keep em comin'! Living vicariously through you while my country falls apart is keeping me sane
Interesting to get a little tour around SMASHville 👌 thanks for another SMASHfix Jay
Realy nice vid Smash! 👏🏻
That museum sure has a certain vibe. To think of what has happened back then.
Love the micro-tour. Guernsey is beautiful!!
Made me hungry too!! 😆
Thanks 👍
Nice tour of the town and museum and that Godzilla size prawn 🦐 and the end 😱great video 👍🏻
What a great video and for so many reasons, fantastic clarity on that camera too.
I’m former serving, love military history so to see this new spin on one of your blogs was great.
The long German weapon that you said would cut you in half, well it would, it’s called the MG34 firing a 7.92mm round. During WW2 the Germans decided to make a cheaper and not so over engineered version, this being the MG42. It was the fastest belt felt weapon system of its time and would you believe, albeit despite a few small changes it is still used today.
It’s now called the MG3 and calibrated for the 7.62mm NATO round, I’ve heard this fired in anger and yes, it still sounds amazing.
I won’t waffle on anymore, but if you’d like to know anything else about the collect shown feel free to ask.
Keep up the great work and thanks again.
Very interesting! Thanks 👍
OMG!! great activities over there. The museum is awesome. Loaded with historical items. The prawns & the cooking look very tasty. The view 👍👍👍👍👍
A slice of heaven !!!👌
If you did a three hour tour of that museum I'd be here, very cool to see that my friend! I think you "outdid" yourself on this one Jay, thank you for the trip!
I knew you were cool man but this really brings you to a whole new cool:) Wow!
Brilliant video as usual mate keep up the good work. I enjoy looking at history it’s so fascinating and I learn so much. Hopefully you’ll produce some more of this kind of stuff.
Il definitely do more like this on bad weather days 👍
Smash what a fantastic upload...loved seeing all the old military items.....and that cook up looked the bees knees brother 👍🏻
You truly are my favourite on you tube look forward to the next one
The tour of the military museum is brilliant
Awesome video! I’ll have to revisit the museum as it’s well bigger than when I went in there. The container ship in your video works Guernsey, Jersey, Alderney & Poole. All of our house moves go on that ship 👌
It’s great in there mate it’s massive now haha ah thanks for the info 👍
OMW Jay what an awesome video!!!. Thank you for sharing that little trip on your beautiful island, and taking us into that wonderful museum
Thanks for watching
Nice video smash keep up the good work Harry
Thanks dude
Crab wheels fishing videos are my favourite, especially with Sam , you two together are a laugh 💪🤛👍
Dude, when life gets too hard and unfulfilling, I get on youtube and watch your videos! woo!
Barbecued scallops are amazing hungry now 👍
Great little tour of the museum strikes a note with one of us, as served 25 years in the British Army as a paramedic. Lots of brass to be polished in there and lots of great artifacts to.
We did spot a fewchillies at the Surf and Turf shop, they looked like cayennes which you will be fine with they are really mild.
Great to cook out on the rocks to, love the wild cooking side. Good sized prawns to and good use of seasoning, not over complicated. As we'd say KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). We'd have a little chilli with it to....lol
Great vid Jay cheers .
You're meals always have my mouth watering, regardless of the time of day!
These videos make quarantine more enjoyable
That was a fun video! Those scallops looked amazing! If you like spicy stuff then next time you do the scallops that way, add a slice of jalapeño pepper inside the wrapped bacon. It adds a great flavor and heat.
Il give it a try next time 👌 thanks
Like am touring your place already cuz your taking time to take pic and explaining the items very good tour, the scenery, the market especially nice places while biking less pollution mate thanks a lot 3cheers for you🤗🍷🍾🚵🏻♂️
When he says "I come here just to get weeded out"
What a awsome day! And the fact that this is you at work basically 👌🍻🍻 ...so jealous 😂
I don’t know if anybody wrote this on here but those stones piled up on the walls on the beach are called Inukshuks. Inuit used them.
An inukshuk is a structure made of stones piled on top of each other. Inuksuit, or inukshuks (which means more than one inukshuk) were used for navigation in the frozen north where, in the snow, everything could look the same. They were also used to mark sacred places.
Inuit is the proper name, Eskimo is a derogatory term.
Kytowa Kuran thank you, I corrected it.
Prawns and scollops hell yeah
Man your videos are sooo good. You do so many different things and we love every single one!!
Thanks ! Your support is much appreciated 👍
Thanks, great vlog. The cooking feels fancier than usual, very interesting lol. :)
Another cracking video Jay. Guernsey is defo a place I wanna go when time is right. Defo gonna try your cooking of scallops in bacon as well. 😊👍😎
One of the best meals you've made yet! I wish I had ready access to fresh ingredients like yours, however, here in Colorado, USA, we deal with frozen unless we want to spend a mint on fresh flown in. Thanks for sharing!
The Inukhsuk (pronounced ih-nook-suuk) mirrors this Canadian spirit of friendship and community. ... An Inukshuk in the shape of a person signifies safety, hope and friendship. These stone sculptures were also important for navigation, as a point of reference, as a marker for hunting grounds, or to denote a food cache. Thought I would add my two cents in this today little history lesson LOL
Hey that was awesome 👏 gotta get to Guernsey 🇬🇬 ASAP thx for that. The cook up was great 👍 What a lovely place! 😜😁
Thank you for the tour of the military museum.
You always make me so hungry while watching these vids!! Excellent as usual though.
Thanks for the tour! Fascinating! That meal would be $100 in a fine dining establishment. Nice work, chef! 👍🏻
I am a total history guy and served a 17 year career in the military. I know quite a bit about most of the items you've shown. I would absolutely love to come to Guernsey, as it's chock full of history. Where I live in South East Texas, we are chock full as well, and we can have firearms. If you ever get this way, I have several antique sniper rifles you could enjoy.
Loved this video, nice to see different parts of Jersey and the museum was very interesting yes I would like to see more of Jersey. Thanks for posting.
Nice to see the history of the island, that sea food looked amazing I’m starving now haha keep up the good work jay.
I don’t really like sea food but your videos always make me hungry! I’m going to have to try one of these I think!
Scallops wrapped in bacon dude your be smiling 👌
Hell yea
The museum was great to see, and your town looks fantastic,I wish that I could visit. This was so interesting thank you Jay, it looks like a beautiful town you live in👍🏻❤️ non is fresher than what you catch.😂you should have brought your girlfriend for this feast.😂I’m not a big fan of lemon because I like to taste the prawns and scallops, I feel like lemon drowns the flavors. That just my preference.
Recently discovered and subbed to your channel and I'm loving the content, keep up the good work mate!
Wanderful video, thanks for the tour it was great.ill be putting bacon around my scallops dude.😊☮️
Definitely worth doing 👍

Yes!Jay is back.whoo!
Nice camera quality mate
That looks like a wonderful museum, thank you for the tour!
Hey Smash! I really liked the stone serving platter for the scallops & prawns! I see it being all the rage in kitchens everywhere! Shipping costs would be outrageous though! Oh well....back to the drawing board for merchandise ideas.🤔 Ha! Keep up the great work!!!
Another great vlog Jay, keep up the great work, cheers from🇦🇺👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍤🦞🦪🥓🐟🐠🐙🦑🦀
Sweet vid matey, awesome museum.. 👍
Love this video , and would love to see more of the history of your beautiful island , love every thing you do mate 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🎸🎸🎸😎😎😎
Mannn that huge prawn would be so yummy! Especially the head. Nice vlog!
This is one of my favorite smash videos, top 3 for sure
Love your plate, it gave me an idea for my little group of kids. Maybe you should get a group of kids to go foraging and let them cook their catch and whatever they forage. They can make their plates out of the rocks and stones and shells they find on the beach.
It would also make a very trendy little beach side restaurant with natural plates and platters.
In your location you won't have any problems with physical DISTANCING on the beach during the PANDEMIC.
Love your vids man love your energy keep it going!
Thanks for watching
Beautiful my Tummys rumbling !! Cool vids man keep em up nothing better Fresh Seafood !!! 👍👍👍
Really enjoyed this different type of video. Love all your content smash

Great video Jay 👍. The Museum walk was Awesome 👍😝. It sounded like the guy, said £ 7:62 for the tiger pawrn . OMFGG 😲. Wicked lunch on the beach 😉😋😋
Nice vid jay. Always good to show off what the island has to offer
I’m hungry now! Looks so delicious!
Such an interesting video this time, it was really good of you to do the ride around at the start, I really enjoyed the visit to the museum what an interesting place, with so much to see, you so lucky to live there, I shall have to pay your island a visit sometime soon, and with a bit of luck bump into you we could have a good BBQ and a few beers on the beach.
Great museum! I could spend a full day in there.
Best way to watch videos like these is eating while watching him eat so your not as hungry!
The museum was pretty cool buddy and some sweet ass prawns!!
He’ll yeah ! Was a fun day out
Love how positive you are bro makes the day more interesting keep up the mean videos!! from New Zealand
Thanks mate 👍
The head of the prawn is the best bit! 😁
This is a really cool video thanks for taking us along.
Amazing video and feast at the end, but I would recommend that you suckle on the prawns head, as you would do on Sam's hoop. The flavour that you get out of them is tantalizing. x
Loved this! I recently watched a documentary about your lovely island and enjoyed it very much!
