Thank you for this comprehensive video. I just ordered my 33-T and 218 from Self Edge. The level of detail in the shirts is incredible and I am super excited to finally get into the Iron Heart universe.
That is thee quintessential modern western denim shirt. That deep indigo is fantastic. The striped one harkens back to the American railroad in a modern, fashionable and very wearable way. Almost reminds me of something Andy Dufresne wore in Shawshank. Cheers!
I have to say the IH line up is top notch. It’s of the highest quality. I buy about 6 pieces a year. Sometimes up to 10 pieces a year. It’s the quality across the line that is so impressive. Will last a life time.
Great video, Devon. I own the 33 with contrast stitching and couldn't be happier with it. Might have to grab the one with tonal stitching as well. The worst part about Iron Heart is deciding which shirt to wear. I struggle with that daily between my denim shirts, CPOs, and flannels.
I love IH products, the shirts are a new world for me, and I will be interested to see if they provide that "immortal" vibe that the jeans do... if they do, then the collection will probably grow!
I still wonder how the Wabash developed ;-) Did you ever make a follow-up video on it? Cheers and big congrats for all your videos. Really like the style; calm and objective, yet clearly giving credit to good value. Thanks.
I've got a pair of their jeans and a jacket which are quite damn expensive. I couldn't bring myself to pay that amount for a shirt, I mean it's top shelf quality but I'd rather another pair of jeans over them. Definitely go for the large my friend.
I have kept the large and am breaking it in now, it might be my "reviewing" shirt for a while, so expect it to pop up in some videos! As far as cost, to me it is more than *just* a shirt, I will be layering it so almost like a light jacket. I have plenty of jeans, and like to work on one pair each year... but the IH55501's are so tough they look like they are going to do 2 years, so may be no big purchase this year!
@@DevonReviewer Looking forward to seeing the fades on that shirt, not a lot of people show that off compared to jeans or jackets. I got the IH-634S about 2 years ago and they're now fully broken in and by far my most comfortable jeans, they wear so well you wouldn't know they're 21 oz. I watch all your videos as you buy and review all the stuff I've been looking at, but not the balls to purchase. Carry on the good work! Edit - Idea for a video, maybe show your best buys for 2018? That belt you got looks like a winner. Are you an engineer by chance?
I'd love to receive one of these shirts for Christmas but it's hard to imagine myself buying one. It's a gorgeous shirt but why is it so expensive? For that price I would expect it to be of a zimbabwe-type fabric at least. I would sooner buy a PS4!
I guess it is down to the fabric and construction techniques, I know the fabric is a step down from the normal 21oz (although I wouldnt really want a 21oz shirt), but the constriction I think is a little more complex than a jean?
It’s pretty simple: Ask yourself if you could produce an equally high quality shirt and make a living from it whilst taking less for it and paying everyone involved in the process a fair amount of money 😃
Iron heart has top tier construction and quality heavy weight denim. The fades take a long time to develop (on a shirt like this, literally years). Its not a cheap purchase no matter how you spin it, but man it's hard to buy anything else after experiencing iron heart.
Yes there are many brands to choose from. For construction and quality heavy weight denim, iron heart is best. They also have excellent customer service

I think he said that the wabash went back to the store. In the 12 month review of the 33T said it.
Thanks for this! Can you do an update on your denim collection (your Levi 511 review, and your other denims) Thanks! Would be great for 2019 ;)
Bloody hell, where did all those subscribers come from, congrats!
Another great review! Hope you had a great Christmas! And have a great new year.
Thanks!

Devon! I love your vids man, if you ever made a tshirt with phrases you use on them, the first tshirt should say "as I say..." on it haha
Where and who made the plaid shirt you wear in this video?
BTW nice details on your videos!
They must do a 15% every year. I bought my Iron Heart denim shirt in their sale. I don't remember getting the chocolate though.
What is your chest measurement? Didnt catch in in the video. Thanks! Love your content
I love ironheart and i like your review. thanks a lot.
What’s that shirt you wear? Is it flanell? I Love your accent 👍🏻
Love Iron Heart. But wearing these in my country are suicide mission. The maximum oz for the shirt I can wear is 10oz :/
You should do an update vid on these shirts
Love your flannel 👍. May I ask what is your body weight as you took M size and L size aswell 😉😁
12".….I mean 12oZ.....you meant the former didn't you....oohhh errr missesssss
Waiting for the update on these shirts.

The intention is the shirt will last for like 20 years ...

Joel Steinke it’s hard to understand that you can have samurai or Oni jeans for 200-300. It’s hard to understand
