Your videos convinced me, i stepped up and got the IHSH33T. the tonal stitching was the clincher. It's amazing. Everything i expected after your review and more. It screams quality and lifetime wear. The fit for me is perfect, just perfect. Thanks DevonReviewer, your presentations are exceptional.
yeah, the sizing sometimes defies logic. I think the reason one usually ends up going with an Iron Heart with a larger pit-to-pit sizing is because the waist size quite narrows a significant amount. The nice thing about that is that my range-of-motion is much wider and far more comfortable in the Iron Hearts, which i quite appreciate. The movement within the shirt is quite nice and the taper down to the waist becomes quite flattering. Big wins for me. And, oh yeah, had I mention how much I LOVE the arm lengths?! I know its intended for motorcyclists, which I am not, but at 6 foot 3 inches, I quite like being able to stretch my arms out without my sleeves climbing up my arms. Its quite nice.
Nice update. I’ve just purchased the black IH555-03 denims and think this would go well with those. I’ll hopefully pick up an Iron Heart shirt this month. I’ve noticed the Johnny Cash is back in stock and a couple of 5 oz chambray summer shirts are in stock. All three look excellent.
Would you mind doing a quick review of the Wabash Western shirt too? Would be very interesting to see how that has evolved. Other than that, I really highly appreciate your objective and calm reviews. thanks for your work!
I feel like the tighter something fits the better the honeycombs. What do you think? I noticed on 2 pairs of jeans. The tighter cut looks like it's going to fade much better
Thanks for a great review! I am currently trying to decide between keeping the Large or the XL. The large fits really well. It can be comfortably buttoned and the sleeves hit at just the right spot on my long arms (I’m 6’2” and 165). The XL seems a little too large now but not huge. I’m wondering if you could share what your experience with shrinkage was? Could a great fitting large shirt keep its size if washed in cold water? Would you recommend sizing up to account for shrinkage? Thanks!!
Hi, thanks, just downloaded new software, it should be mp4 1920x1080/120p (60mbps).. but as you say looking pretty poor at the moment.. will investigate in the morning!
Hey, I'm guessing the tighter weave of, say, an Iron Heart fabric is longer lasting than the slubbier stuff? My partner came at me with scissors to sort out my chain stitch runoffs.
I am not sure regards longevity, another viewer suggested the slubby fabric may be more prone to blowout but my limited experience I am not convinced. I have certainly seen tighter starchy denim show signs of blowout after 12 months wear, but my Onis are doing fine... all denim needs an occasional soak and will wear, repair is part of the evolution... I would miss those runoffs if they werent there... dodge those scissors!
Holy crap! Just looked at the website and was blown away by the prices on those shirts. Who spends $400 on a shirt? That's insane. I'm sure they are awesome. That one looks incredible. But shit!!!
None of the IH stuff is cheap, its one of the more pricey brands for sure, but I have never been disappointed by their product... never heard negative reviews either... if it fits well and is to your style, consider it an investment ;)
Love the video! Have definitely been wanting to get one of these for a while now. Curious to whether you've heard of or tried bravestars' heavyweight denim?
I'm wondering if he's heard of bravestar as well. I picked up some off ebay and they were tight on the waist and kinda wide at the leg even though they were "regular taper". They are pretty weird fitting and I'm going to have to get the legs tapered further.
Yes, I follow them on instagram, a couple of their tops have caught my eye, their indigo "sawtooth" shirt, and their black sherpa jacket. Looks pretty good stuff and a decent pricepoint

The sharp snap of those studs is music to my ears.
They are made by Permex, and still as good a the first day!

I have always liked the black western shirts so was pleased to see the return of the Johnny Cash too, might pick one up at some point
It's a real pleasure to watch your videos! Keep the good work and stay safe!

All good points. Fantastic channel. This is a must watch episode.
What denim do you pair your Tanuki jacket with? It being a dark indigo hue as well.
Love the videos. Keep em coming.

24 month review coming up?!
You will see the shirt again at some point, possibly in a wardrobe overview.. it hasnt faded enough to justify a further review quite yet!

@@Dan-wb5vx Phew, I was using a new download of PowerDirector 18, previously I was using 11, thought I had messed it up!
DevonReviewer Phew indeed. Well Happy Easter!
Thanks for sharing!
Have you ever considered Railcar jeans? They’re attention to detail is second to none.
Railcar are definitely on my list of brands to try out!

It’ll last a lifetime unlike the junk mass market clothes that wear out within a couple of years if you’re lucky.
thats my dream shirt right there
I am very pleased with it, IH make great stuff and amazingly durable!
In the video, you say that the body length is 26.5" but it looks more like 29.2" on the measuring tape.

DevonReviewer the fit on bravestar can be a challenge. Buyer beware
The thought of wearing a shirt for a year without washing just puts me off. I wear my shirts once the wash them.
Wow! What a wonderful jacket. Just beautiful. Woah it's a shirt. I commented on the first minute of the video.
Gorgeous shirt!
What kind of watch is that?
Rolex GMT2C, I actually prefer my Seiko SKX007 these days but after 10 years of service the rubber strap has failed... need to get shopping!
