A good entry from France, for sure! I agree with you 100%, I like it best when countries present songs in their own languages, and with music that represent their own traditions and culture, as this one does. Thanks for another great reaction video, Tim and Dennis. I hope you have a good weekend!
Barbara Pravi (in Serbian - unique) is so beautiful, emotional and inspirative. She is half Serbian and Iranian mixture. WINNER for 2021! ♥️♥️♥️ for Barbara from Serbia
She displays vulnerability and strength all in one. Viewers will connect with that, I hope. Meanwhile I agree entirely about countries singing in their own language. Well said.
@@jpc7118 You could be on to something there, JP C. Maybe that is why I feel such a kinship with the French vibe. (BTW - Pomposity is much maligned my friend - Don't be bashful!)
@@alipanroosendaal9503 I took my precautions ;) that explains I preceded my remark by "may seem pompous"... French has often this cliché to be "arrogant" for foreigners... I have lived 4 years in germany and many months in indian ocean (Mayotte, Glorious isles and Réunion)... I have many friends all around the world and I interest myself in other cultures, and there's sometimes a gap between the perception the foreigners have of the French and what the french think they have :D lol
Say what you will about France, but they (almost) always send their style, their language and great singers. I don't know if they will win, but once again, this might be one of the best songs this year. Of course, best doesn't always mean most popular and that is where it often goes wrong for our French friends. Oh, since I don't know if you saw my previous comments, Loved your dreamcatcher review (try PIRI or Scream, you're gonna like those i think). Also if you have time, try the Japanese Waggaki Band, this might be of interest to you. Thank you for the great reaction!
I find sad that international listener expect France to produce eternally Piaf style chansons ! France has a great history of techno music too. I am agree that every country should sent a national language song. I remembre Kulla from Ott Lepland, Estonia in 2012. Didn't understand one single word, but had goosbumps for 3 minutes !
We have seen in the past that the best songs don't often win Eurovision. The system is done that France and few "different" language countries can't win, French is no more an international language and has lost alot of its past prestige. It's a pity because 1 this song has a true meaning and a message in it 2 the singer performed it perfectly ... This one has a little chance to win for once because it can convince eastern european countries which have the nostalgy of the "old" France and this song is typically a traditional french song, a mix between the disapeared singers as Piaf and Barbara. Whatever will happen, it's a very emotional and a typical french song, incredibly well interpreted and if this song is commercialised in my country, I will buy it.
This musics Is so emotional in the lyrics really She talked about be acceptance ourself in a way This IS so interessting to see other reacting to this thanks ! Hello from France👌👋🇨🇵
I read a lot of comments that say it's gonna win but I struggle with believing it. Our songs often weren't very well-ranked so I just wait to see if it's gonna happen. I would love to because I've never watched my country win the Eurovision Song Contest.

We ourselves find it boring to watch a person just sit there. Of course someone can and should watch the entire performance before or after our video🤣🤣

May seem pompous, but your first sentence is what comes first in mind when we think about France.

It's like th style of Armenian French Charles Aznavour and Edith Piaf. Just awesome💖

A winner song...

Love me as we love a friend who goes away forever
I want us to love me because I don’t know how to like my outlines
Here, there, here, here I am, Here I am
even if exposed it is finished
Here I am in the noise and in the fury too
Look at me, finally, and my eyes and my hands
All that I have is here, it’s my mouth, it’s my cry
Here I am, here I am, here I am
Here we are, here we are, here we are
Here
I'm curious, which french speaking song do you like the best guys, Switzerland or France ?
That is a mega difficult question ☺️☺️☺️. We are still fighting in our heads about it. We will make a top 5 soon ❤️
🇫🇮❤🇨🇵🙂👍
Personaly its wayy better when people first react and then talk about it. The constant pausing just taks away from reaction and makes it not enjoyable

Its a pity that alot of notes taking from edith piaf song:'padam padam'. Especally the refrain that sound like piaf song.
Sounds very old fashioned.
It’s a nice song, she sings also amazing but I don’t think that this song will enter top 10 of Eurovision...
Only one way to find out
I think this song will win
#2 :D
Omg this is really horrible song
Seriously? It’s beautiful! ❤️
@@Overwijn01 yes. From annyoing and bad point of view..
