This video is exactly what I was looking for! And renter friendly!! You are brilliant!! I want to try this with a thick satin velvet fabric, they’ll never know!
This is exactly what I was looking for, excellent. For patio door I have been looking for lighter material since wood makes it very heavy to hang. I hope it doesn’t sag in the middle as the length would be 100 inches.
Thank you. Mine turned out great! It was easy to do and worked perfectly for my kitchen window! I used the same fabric that matched my kitchen chairs. It was a bit thicker than yours, but still worked out well! I wish I could post a picture.
Thank you for this video. I’ll definitely try this. My only problem is I have to make one that will be 221 inches long. How will I do that? Can yo give me an idea.

better if you use batting underneath fabric...just glue it down on foam board first. I generally add a top piece and line the inside.
Ah I see ok thanks for the tips
Thank you so much!! Your reasoning for NOT using wood is spot on!! I will definitely be using the insulation foam board in my future projects
This is an awesome video. Very helpful. Thank you.

Very nice and easy tutorial! Thank you!!
Very good/cheaper idea! Looks easy! 😊
I was just about to pay $500 on Etsy for some custom cornices and you just saved me! Perfect and simple. Nicely done. Can't wait to give it a try!

Thanks!! It’s going to look beautiful!
Beautiful x
They look better when you use batting underneath the fabric.
Oh ok! I think they looks great!🙂
It would also make it easier to stretch and smooth the fabric to avoid the wrinkles.
Very nice tutorial!!
Lovely will do this ❤
Great sharing
I have some old chenille bedspreads (white) that I want to use to cover cornice boards. My style is minimalist but shabby chic.
Thank you for this! I was looking at building a wooden one, but I really didn't need it to be that durable. This was the perfect solution!
Beautiful I'm trying this tfs
Thanks! You’ll want to make them for every window!🥰
awesome project, im going to tackle this over the weekend thanks to you.
PS. our kids would be bombshells; just sayingg.
Awesome 👌
Thanks 🤗
how did you support the center
Could you use spray adhesive instead of hot glue?
How many inches did you go for the 2 small sides?
Why not use 3m wall strips?, especially better for renters and those foam boards don't weigh much., just seems so much simpler.
Thank you for this video. I’ll definitely try this. My only problem is I have to make one that will be 221 inches long. How will I do that? Can yo give me an idea.
221 inch would be very wide to cut not sure if the foam board is as wide maybe try thin wood board ??
Great idea, I have a staple gun, do you think that will work to staple fabric
Yes it will! I don’t have one or else I would of used it 🙂
How much material did you need?
Couldn’t you use command strips ?
No
I don’t understand why u are not covering backside. You can see that from outside
No you cannot see it that’s why I don’t worry about the back. My roller shades don’t roll up all the way
Just maybe have edges the same size and not use pins. otherwise the front was nice, just flat/one dimensional.
finished back is messy
No one sees the back

You could put yard stick criss cross on the back after you wrap fabric, paint yard sticks same color as fabric. Just a thought
