I like the way this level is presented toward the players. This is the first time the team has been able to traverse the complex with their own freedom - a lot of the zones are no longer just numbers; they have names. The secondary objective isn't some random task, it's actually the curiosity of the team to go and explore where they normally would have orders to. Their curiosity is even rewarded - sure it's a dead end, but they find a way to elimintate the fog levels from the entire level. This level also fulfills the other end of communicating with the ALT team, and you get to feel what it's like having to wait for there help - your own help. Ultimately, the teams' innocence doesnt last for long, and you get to experience them make their first real choice for their own survival - at the cost of all the others who helped them succeed.
While I like the Brood mother I am sad that there isn't a new type of tank. Even the immortal isn't that different from a normal tank, you just can't kill him is all.
This level was a pain to start although the tank zone near the reservoir was empty because of a migration glitch which made the level so much easier to beat, took my group 4 hours to beat
Since we chose the alarm to remove 99% of the infectious fog, we only needed to hold onto the fog turbine for the first scan. After that the fog had lowered enough so it was no longer something we had to deal with.
ohhh didn't realize the fog lowers during the scan, assumed it happened after. That extreme alarm has wiped my team twice now, we're debating going back to the middle version.@@ProfessorScaler
Anyone else absolutely hate Hammerstein for his massively inflated opinion of himself? Every time I hear someone reading one of the logs he wrote, I can feel my blood pressure rising due to the insane levels of ego dude has. He writes about himself as if he worships himself as a deity. He's the kind of person who you want to see fail just because he thinks he can never fail simply because he thinks he's better than everyone else.

The casual 'class 12 alarm' at the beginning, holy shiy
In my opinion, this is the best level in the game.
Bro all of rundown 8 is just so fun
@@joaquincaceresguibovich3182 Indeed.

I think it's okay so long as he can back it up. A person is allowed however much ego they can justify with skill.
@secretname2670 If you're good at something, you shouldn't lord it over people. That scumbag acts like he's infallible.
