@AmnesiacGaming Yes, the setlist could have been more diverse but the gig was planned at the last minute. Originally the band wanted to get into Glastonbury for free, but they were told they had to play. So the timing and timespan of the gig affected what they performed & they definitely wanted to fit in the TKOL material. Kid A & Amnesiac happen to be my favorite RH albums. However, they've played a lot of the material in concert since their release and I'm personally getting over it.
@AmnesiacGaming Don't know if you saw this whole set or not but they didn't neglect their older work. They were only given so much time to perform, and they wanted to play TKOL since it's the first time they've done so in front of a live audience. Hence, it's more like they've moved on - for better or worse.
@ro32x Yeah, if you compare saparator's from the basement and glaston's, theres a huge difference in thightness and sound quality. I bet they would recreate the record atmosphere's more accurately in the basement. Like Thom said, they need to give a good sit-thinking if they wanna make these; sing-along songs
@yeahyeahyaha2 i thought he did magpie quite well actually, but yeah he sounded a bit off on some of the other set tracks, i'm wondering if the equipment wasn't up to scratch, they all sound a bit tinny, suppose it could be the video camaras, and second point, i love king of limbs, however it took me about 30+ listens to take hold
well i think its just a bit lack of rehearsal. last minute gig. still awesome. with those rhythms i'm surprised thom can sing along at all whilst playing them. I'm sure they have a lot of gig prep usually and probably just walked on here.
@AmnesiacGaming If you are looking in the past with Radiohead, you'll be upset now, then and always. Radiohead is constantly evolving. You mentionned Kid A. I guessed you probably said the same thing back then. Why don't play Pablo Honey, the Bends... They did play old song from this gig. True artist are always searching for new ideas, would it be good or bad is just other peoples opinion.
Thom's vocals get off too often. That said, TKoL is not a brilliant record, still, nobody else is doing what radiohead is doing. I think TKoL measures Radiohead's accurcy and weakness more than their stregthnesses

good god can these guys kill the fuck out of a groove
The audio is excellent considering the circumstances. Thanks
I love that Jonny still uses a PowerBook G4
Nicely done RadioMad1. Love hearing the new album live!
How good would it be seeing them in a small pub with about 100 people. They would be perfect like that

He sings it off beat on purpose.. he does it on this song especially.. when I saw him he did it, watch any other live performance of magpie.
Radiohead thinks they're above OK Computer, its disappointing to see them neglect older work. TKOL is no Kid A...
