Grilled Cheese Burger

Skip the ordinary hamburger buns on the next burger night and mix it up with grilled cheese! This will make it a burger night to remember.
I use a hamburger press to form my patties. Then season with my favorite burger rub. For this cook I used my Garlic Junky from Spiceology.
I did this cook on the cast iron griddle on my ranger to get the ultimate flavor and crust. Hamburgers were cooked until they reached 145 degrees.
For the grilled cheese I used American cheese to get that gooey cheese goodness. I also used mayonnaise instead of butter to get that golden crust.
I added a little habanero mayo to give this burger an extra kick.

Looks delicious. But a double burger construction looks way too big to get a good bite of. Have you tried either making the patties thinner or just doing a single?
