- A Church of England Archdeacon has called for 'anti-whiteness' and the 'smashing of the patriarchy,' but insisted that her statement did not mean that she is anti-white' or 'anti-men'.
The Ven Miranda Threlfall-Holmes, Archdeacon of Liverpool, said that after attending a conference on 'whiteness', she was prompted to reflect on race and gender.

It goes back to the “terribly white balcony” critique of the royal family, or yousef in Scotland complaining too many whites hold high posts in Scotland. As a predominately white country we’re going to be predominantly represented by white people. Being anti white in Europe is akin to being anti black in Africa! Church of England is lost
I'm an atheist but as far as I can tell, the Church of England doctrine has always been that marriage is between a man and a woman. I agree with the right for homosexuals to have civil partnerships but what is the point of the CoE if none of it's doctrines are abiding.
Accept their resignation and permanent ban from performing any religious services as she is no longer competent mentally or otherwise!
Why don't the Anglicans in Africa create a new church? Normally agree with everything Esther said but if a church disagrees with the Archbish' of Canterbury then it is up to them to split.

Religion isn't either. It belongs to the world of the supernatural or a past world of superstition, irrational fear and a poor understanding of science.
