    Is it possible to manipulate color change the same method?
    Or move an object (lighting with transparent bg) around shadowed background?

    • @SmertimbaGraphics

      The color part is a bit tricky, use hue/saturation effect and link master hue to the slider, as for moving anything it's done with the same steps shown in the video

    I'm trying to automate the opacity and it'd working... but I want it to only react to the loudest sound (the kick)
    When I try to add +[100 + 100] or anything else, it says "temp is not defined" and disables the expression :{
    What can I do to turn down the sensitivity of the reaction so it only picks up the kick? 🙏

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  Год назад

      The thing is opacity only goes up to 100, you've got to use like an exposure effect or something else instead

      when i add smooth instead of linear in the line of code, it gives me an error and reverts back to what it was before the adjustment, I'm not familiar with coding on AE, is there a specific line you can comment for copy paste? @@SmertimbaGraphics

    • @SmertimbaGraphics
      @SmertimbaGraphics  11 месяцев назад

      Oh right, it has to be linear. Try doing it without the linear() expression, just link the properties so that the reaction would happen for all the values instead of a selected threshold.

      @luxuryvideoproductions714 11 месяцев назад

      @@SmertimbaGraphics i found a work around that fixed this with a short expression. Alt+Right Click Slider, then type “ smooth(.1,21) “ and it worked for me. Smooth as butter, still hitting the beat at the right places.
