I live in Nashville and have lived here for 36 years. The nickname "Nash" started when someone coined the nickname "NashVegas" for our city. As time has gone on it has been shortened to "Nash".

Broadway is Nashville's main drag & Party Central. It is not Music Row. Music Row is where all the business of music happens. Music Companies, Music Publishing, Music Law offices, etc. I believe it's on 16th Ave.
Nashville's official nickname is "Music City".

Went to Nashville for the first time late last June for a few days with my father 2 weeks before he passed away. I'll never forget it.

That’s not music row in the beginning. That’s broadway. Music Row is few blocks over where the record labels are
Just an FYI the Hermitage Hotel is rated a 5 star hotel and was Nashville only 5 star hotel, until 2 years ago
It's "Lower Broad" to the locals. Did you go to Printers Alley? I will always add the 'ville' to Nashville Tennessee!

I am ok with a tourist calling Broadway, Music Row. That is understandable, but when you said you didn’t like bacon, I almost had to stop watching. 😂
I liked the vlog. I grew up in Nashville and moved away a view years ago about 20 mins north. It’s changed so much. The actual music row and the overall vibe of Nashville I grew up with is gone. It’s all partying and bachelorettes.

That's not music row. That's Broadway . The true Music Row is where all the recording studios. Up near Owen Bradley Park.
