I was 13/14 and just a stupid teenager with no purpose back when i discovered Matt on off the ranch. Now I'm 22, engaged and working on a family and a home. I have used these videos and Matt as a role model for so many things it is insane to see him moving out of there. It feels like part of my own life is moving. Strange thing to say about someone moving that I have never met
word
I've also been watching Matt since like 2015'ish. But I already had two kids now I have 6...
I can also agree. I have been watching his videos and I was like wow… this was 2 years ago… or like how the bronco was 4 years ago… I can still recall that day in my early teens now that I am 18 and moving into college and starting my life. I can remember the memories I have in this house watching Matt’s family. It’s amazing.
Same but I'm 21
Your speaking straight up facts! 🔥
Hope ya know, you didn’t just grow the kids in the house. We all grew with you Matt, thank ya for this homes chapter. Glad you’re taking us with you for the next one
True.
100% truth
Right on eh.
Totally agree
*6 months later*
New Owner: "Hey Matt, I thought you said you checked that everything was gone when you moved out?"
Matt: "Yeah, why?"
New Owner: "Well because this is the 10th time I've found a gun hidden somewhere inside of the house."
this might really happen lolzz
What do you mean? He lost all of his guns in a tragic boating accident.
Whill you sill do off the ranch or did you sell all your land
Matt: "What gun is it?"
New Owner: "It's another Hi-Point."
Matt: "Nope, not mine, that's someone else's."
@@personman9167 He is moving to a much bigger plot of land. Off The Ranch will definitely continue.
That's not just a family home you're moving out of, it's a piece of RUclips history. So many things have happened there! Thank you for inviting us to ride along through the good, bad, and ugly - it's been an absolute honour and pleasure to witness y'all's journey (:
Yeah, like shooting at a target indoors.
Hold on to the floor mats. Throw them back in the truck when you’re ready to sell it so they look nice and new.
Its still mind-blowing that I've been watching this channel for nearly 9 years like ive seen these kids grow up its awesome. Love the videos matt keep up the good work!
9 years??? You’re kidding me, I remember watching the very first offtheranch video and 9 years would mean that I was 11
@@badnewshughes6360 not kidding before I made my RUclips account I would watch his videos on my brothers iPad and then I made my RUclips and he was the 2nd person I ever subbed to. I literally never miss a video
@@badnewshughes6360 I would have also been 11 😂
Same here.
The same with roman atwood noah his oldest kid is the same age as my brother and its weird to think about that
ok, Matt, you do realize that you need to make actual 50 bmg windchimes now and sell them, right?
Yes he does that's a great idea
*YES*
Id buy one 😂
I was going to suggest the same, but you beat me to it. :)
That would be the only wind chime I’d own
I have lived in the same house for 44 years. Raised seven kids, five dogs, about ten cats. several mice and two birds, fifteen cars and trucks, two trailers, and one motor home. It's been a full life.
Now this is the ol school boy.Congrats.Your kids are proud of you pop🙏😄
"Several mice"...😂
It's really crazy because when you showed your kids when they were younger I realized that I've been watching for like 6 years and I've practically watched them grow up with you. Especially Lincoln like I've watching him grow for 6 out of 8 years of his life.
Now that I read that I realized the same thing.
I was 9 years old when I found off the ranch now I'm 15. I remember I would come home from school and be so excited to watch your
Videos and I've watch 95% of your videos and loved watching your family grow up and do all the fun adventures you and your family have done from the crack house to the abandoned mansion to buying all kinds of different vehicles and making the most coolest possible vehicle that you could think of . Thank you for letting us all follow along the journey with you it has been an honor to be 1 of the 4.14 million subscriber of offtheranch.
I couldn't imagine moving all of your stuff. Just the barn goodies would overwhelm me. Good luck on your move and I'll be watching it as you post it. Thanks for sharing.
He need some serious tool boxes to store and organize everything. Would be easier to move them as well. I know that's easier said than done, but its an idea.
Finally the time has come to see the end results of the not so small house on the Hill
...the mansionete on the hill?
Still far from done probably, theres still all the exterior to be done
You put the factory Matt's back in.. get it matt.. then put the rubber garbage over them.
Okay Franco. You hold that fish as high as this comment.
My favorite early episode was Matt trying to get rid of the wasps while going down the kids slide with spray bomb in hand.
That was actually the first video I ever watched of his. I had to stay up all night for reasons, and was trying to stay awake by watching random videos. I liked his personality, thought he looked familiar, realized he was Demo, and watched happily ever after.
That was one of my first episodes as well, then I found demoranch. That's when I found my favorite RUclipsr
Matt: "I feel bad about throwing stuff away and getting rid of things."
Also Matt: " today we are going to shoot a 20.00 50 cal. Round at a block of silver"
As someone who moves furniture for a living, 6 days a week, i have to say you are a true hero for putting all your boxes in the garage!!
Matt, do a solid before you leave, and clean the oil spots in the garage.
Lol, resurface the garage

I never understood this kind of sentiment, of course he's useful...he's a great husband and father, i'm sure. He does a great deal...i know you were joking, but i don't personally find this kind of stuff that funny.
@@Nunya_Argo79 You must be a blast at parties!
They grow up fast Matt. I just took mine to get her driver's license today and I swear I was still buckling her into her car seat last week. You're fortunate to have documented their growth through video.
Hey Matt 😃
SUGGESTION... Load your boxes on pallets & use your skid loader. Use a dolli for boxes inside house then.....You can load boxes at your door onto a pallet & then move to stacking area. Save Your back & energy. So happy for You guys. God bless all of you. 😘
Matt the hoarder. But unlike most hoarders that may stop when the house is full, Matt just builds another house and shop to fill up.
It's amazing how everybody changed over these years. The kids are so big now and Matt and Meredith look so much more.. mature now?
The fact that you guys were a shining beacon for so many people though, that never changed. You're truly an inspiration.
Concur!
Brought a little tear to my eye reminiscing back to the past 10 years of growing up with Matt and his family. It's crazy how fast these years flew by and how much these channels have grown. Super excited to support Matt and his family in this new chapter! Keep up the great work and keep creating memories for us all to look back on.
he didn’t start off the ranch until 5 years ago...
@@crazysilly2914 demolition ranch has been going for 10 years now. Vet ranch also had a lot of videos since Matt was running the channel. Through these years, both channels grew and Matt (& us viewers) chose to have another channel and name it offtheranch. It’s just wonderful to see these channels grow over the years
@@killertanktim00 he didn’t create the ‘off the ranch channel’ until 5 years ago...
@@crazysilly2914 Yes I know. I watched the videos when he announced he was thinking of making another channel. And now Off The Ranch has 4M subs. So my statement still stands: through these years, these channels all have grown huge.
OMG I am crying hearing him talk about "the house he loves". Such a big moment for all of us.
Hard to believe I was watching this from the beginning of the vlogging. I remember when you bought the house, when you changed up the barn, built the chicken coop, sprayed all those wasps. I've watched your family grow up over the past 5 or so years. Thank you for taking us for the ride, from car to car, truck to truck, house to house. Looking forward to so much more.
Matt, don’t throw the mats away, just put them under the hard liners in your truck. That way you won’t loose them and will be ready to go if or when you decide to sell the truck.
It does make sense. If I remember correctly, he does plan on getting rid of it once the new raptor comes out, then keeping the mats will be good.
Hard to believe bunker branding started in a corner of that garage and now its (I guess) a million dollar business. That alone is some achievement never mind everything else that happened in the last 5 years. Even when things like skiff knives didn’t work out as planned I’m sure Matt learned so much from the experience. More power to his elbow.
Speaking of Skif Knives...do Matt and Nic still own it or did they move on? Never heard about it again...
@@philippk819 they removed themselves from it when they realized how bad it was
That’s the amazing part. They went from garage to HUGE in a time frame all businesses wish they could . Being a good person and doing honest work helps…..along with 10 million subscribers. Haha
I watch the outro every time just to see mark smile and laughing. Miss that guy!
He had the best smile!
Yeah that was another thing that happened while they were in that house. I'm sure Mark is liking the new house though.
Rest assured he will be with them.
Put the floor mats back in the truck UNDER the rubber mats. It stores them, keeps them clean and if you ever sell the truck, you’ve got new mats to go with it.
I kope you and your family know how much we appreciate your videos and sharing. Thank you to you all.
And we will watch a video of you cleaning your garage because of who you are as a person! Love it!
As a father to a now 4 year old daughter it made me tear up a little seeing his daughter cry when she got hurt 😢 always love your videos Matt!
That was his brother Mark's daughter.

@@willdavidsonakawd3062 You are right.
Can you come make a video of cleaning mine in Dallas,
😂
Matt for your shop move I recommend buying some inexpensive rolling tool cabinets (and rolling shelves) and then either put the stuff in the Cabinets first and move the cabinets and everything, or just pack up the stuff in the barn and move them into the cabinets at the new place
I did that for a move 8 years ago and it was great. Gave me the time to get things organized and figure out how I wanted everything laid out with no rush to get it right the first time. I’ve been selling off the odd cabinet here and there since then. I still have two left but I have not replaced with my own custom cabinets…but it won’t be long now
Ahhh, Fuxk I held off watching because I knew I would cry, holy moly I didn't know I've been watching for 5 or more years.
Being a new dad to a son, it was a heart wrencher to see young Lincoln 💙 ❤ Love the channel!
Moving is difficult, but you guys are gonna make so many amazing memories on the not-so-abandoned-house-on-a-hill property!
Yes they will! It's a beautiful home that fits them perfectly. Can't wait to see it finished.
Flashback to young dad Matt in his early prime, you don't realize how fast things change until you watch a flashback
Remember the tannerite pipeline days?
As a reward for moving into the new place, you should totally buy the GM6 LYNX. New house, new gun!
...or a Denel NTW-20 ;-) Not as new and probably illegal even in Texas ;-)
I vividly remember those begging off the ranch videos, now they've got to be " on the NEW ranch " videos. Emotional but great for y'all 💚
Congratulations Matt for all you’ve accomplished. I’ve really enjoyed watching your family grow and look forward to the future vlogs in your new home.
The floor mats could be good if you were going to trade it in later, but storing them vs not dealing with them is something only you can know.
Just stick them under the rubber ones in the truck
Yeah just put the rubber on top of the factory carpet mats….

I agree with Mere, no need to keep stuff around if its not being used anymore. I also agree instead of just throwing everything away, recycle, repurpose, donate. somebody could use things you don't need

I would use the tiles as a table top then pour clear resin over the top to protect the tiles might turn out really cool looking.
A 'pore' is a tiny hole in your skin... the word you are looking for is 'pour'. I like your idea to re-use the mats in a resin top.
Finally we get to see the results of the not-so-small, not house, not mansion, on a hill, not mountain, with the not bad view!!!
we have lived in our house one year longer than you... with 5 kids our oldest 2 graduated from high school here and we're listing our house tomorrow and moving 2 states away... almost 600 miles. I get what you are feeling. we are also leaving jobs we loved. Good luck with your new adventure.

easy thing to do is if you take the peg boards to the new place u can draw in chalk the tools that go in each place if u wanted to do that. otherwise id organize your tools into separate boxes before moving so its easier to hang up there.
That’s always the fun part of moving out, finding all the stuff you forgot about. Send me one of those O lights, I need a good flashlight to keep in my truck
It’s a lot of a motion for us to because we watch them grow up in that house as well and so many memories of you working on stuff in the garage even removing part of it to fit a 5 ton
