oh I love this...I am going to make this for sure...I am having ladies over for cards and friendship ...this is perfect....thank you so much Stephanie...and Karen
Now your speaking my language! Beautiful ladies! You both look so nice in spring colors today. Stephanie, your eye makeup is on point! Beautiful honey. Easter is not far away. My Mum always considered it a very Holy time of year. We always went to Sunrise Services, which were outside. The beautiful music, and the ladies in Easter Bonnets used to thrill me as a young child. She gave me my first Bible with my name engraved on it, which I have today. However, now I need one with large print! Lol! Be Blessed♥️🕊🙏♥️☕️🙋♀️
I think this is such a pretty dessert. Who wouldn’t want to dive into a whole bowl of that. This is how these wonderful family traditions come about.. you made this dish one year and everyone loved it. Now it’s tradition to make it every year.. You ladies have a blessed day.. Love you much! ❤❤
@@StephanieFoodandFamily I’m so glad you like it. I make it 2-3 times a year. 16 loaves each time. I give it all away. I can’t decide if the molasses/gingerbread or the lemon is my favorite. God bless you . ♥️
Karen you are a gracious cook. You share these recipes with us and you bring Stephanie on and other members of your family and allow them to share their recipes. Thank you.
Really love this recipe looks so refreshing .Thank you Karen and Stephanie hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter ✝️. HE HAS RISEN 🕊️ LOVE TO YOU BOTH MY FRIENDS
New subscriber!!! I’ve had this cake before. I’ve never seen it made. I love this video!! The lady in the light colored top reminds me of my 9th grade Family Foods teacher. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Hi Karen, you got me thinking about what you said about certain kinds of food that we make only on certain times of the year. On Christmas Eve, I always make Oyster stew and I'm 69 years old. I don't know why I don't make it more often. I will have to break that habit and make some soon.
I always make lemon pudding instead of a lemon merengue pie for Easter. We make ham, potato salad, sweet potato casserole, asparagus w/hollandaise sauce, cole slaw, green beans, deviled eggs and pickled eggs. Happy Easter and enjoy all that food!
I use pistachio pudding, mix the crushed pineapple with juice into dry mix, and stir in all my cool whip.. Then I layer angel food cake walnut sized chunks into my trifle bowl, top with pineapple/pudding mixture and sliced strawberries. Do another layer of everything ending with strawberries on top. It's pretty for Spring, Summer or Christmas!!! And now Easter!!!! Love this video of you two!!
up here in the North... We make this with angle food cake. Our cream layer has cream cheese and small amount of sugar added. And typically we only use strawberries. Bananas would be a great addition. I don't think it matters what kind of bowl is used. As long as you are layering all the layers it's still a trifle.
Our Easter will be maybe a pork loin roast or roast chicken. Salad of greens, goat cheese. Vegetables will be roast brussel sprouts and my son likes peas so for him, those. Deviled eggs maybe ok. I always talk about my C.A.D. but I can't have sugar or sugar substitutes. Even fruit sugar has to be avoided but I break that rule for strawberries and blueberries. Everything has to be from scratch. I love watching your videos. They're so happy and positive
Hi Karen and Stephanie, yummy ! Up here in the north, we cut the cake in big chunks and layer accordingly. I usually make a carrot cake for Easter. i also make ham, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, deviled eggs, and potato salad. I make a chocolate rasberry trifle on Mothers Day. Everyone looks forward to that also. Thanks for sharing your recipes. 🙂❤️
That is such a pretty dessert.....bet it's refreshing too. Pop Jones is gonna be a happy camper...lol. Looks so good Stephanie.....great job girls! Only thing I would change is the fruit. I got to get my daughter to write down her recipe for butter finger surprise....it's so good....so fattening but soooo good...lol. We have that at Easter along with Ham, green beans, deviled eggs broccoli casserole, rolls and sometimes I make a cherry cheese pie. Depends on how many are showing up. One of my granddaughters would be perfectly happy with deviled eggs and nothing else...lol. Love, Hugs and Blessings.
I may make this for our Easter dinner , I normally make a coconut cake , this year I’m fixing ham, deviled eggs, green beans , Mac and cheese , butter beans , rolls. I hope you and your family have a blessed Easter love watching y’all !
I'm so hungry now you two, this dessert is beautiful! Would also be perfect on 4th of July using Blueberries and Strawberries and top with Coconut and Pecans. Easter we have Ham, Cream Potatoes, Asparagus Casserole, Deviled Eggs and for dessert, Coconut Cake and a Strawberry Cake. 🐰🐇🌷🩷💛💚
Oh my I can't wait to try this recipe!! I'm in Texas we have barbecue for Easter! Brisket chicken sausage and all the sides! I think I'd try some shredded coconut on the punch bowl cake ! Happy Easter to y'all! Love your channel ❤️
I forgot to add, I usually make a baked ham, potato salad ( my mom’s recipe ), green beans, roasted broccoli stems, devilled eggs. For dessert a baked banana pudding with a meringue top. Again my mom’s recipe.
Karen, I just wanted to say that I finally got a chance to make your Guinness stew and colcannon potatoes. Just wonderful! Thank you so much for two great recipes. Thank you Stephanie too.
Hi Karen , this looks so delicious , Stephanie made this so easy and simple this would be great for after church lunching or church potluck , thanks Stephanie for sharing yum , 😋, 😀😺
👍 I had to use Blueberries, because some of my family can't eat pineapples..I have used peaches also. This is a good idea. Thanks Stephanie and Karen for sharing. 🥰🤗. Love, respect and positivity always.✌️🕯️✨🦋🌠💓🌻🙏. Vee, Andrew and Family.🙂👋👣.
@@StephanieFoodandFamily It looks so good, I'm going to substitute the strawberries for another fruit, I'm allergic to berries which I hate because I love them all!
I've had this at a function but they used what I think might be called 'lady finger' cookies - a long type vanilla cookie? - and I have had with blueberries as one of the fruit. Canned orange/mandarin segments or peaches would also be good. Like what could go wrong with such a refreshing summer type dessert! lol
That is sooo Beautiful and I would love to come to Easter dinner thank you !!! Just kidding 😂😂❤😅😅god bless happy Easter hi Paul 😇🙏😅 wish you girls great day Norlinda ❤

I'm drooling! I'm wondering if you can use real whipped cream...beating heavy cream with sugar instead of Cool Whip? I'd also use peaches! Looks fabulous. I'm only one person...can you freeze it to use a little at a time?
I'm sure you can whip your own and it would be delicious. Cool whip just seems to hold up better. I'm not sure about freezing it but I don't know why you can't ❤️
Looks good before you get started. You are so right; it's gonna be good. Sonja and Christopher
