OK I'm a Celtic fan but hear me out - Celtic fans will admit Laudrup and Gascoigne were great players, but whenever Albertz got the ball within 40 yards of goal every Celtic fan held the breath, I've never seen a player hit a ball with so much power AND accuracy. Great player.

@pnewey1888 - Albertz was a smashing bloke - never rubbed it in/provoked opposite fans like Boruc, Lennon or even Ricksen and always took time to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans. Hate him for being a Rangers player if you want, but don't pretend like you dislike him for personal reasons as you've blatantly never met him.
@DelBluenose80 It was just a favour to big bomber.The two of them were some players.Brown was the best player that never got capped for Scotland that I ever saw.He was hard as nails,but a right good defender.Could read a game no matter who he was up against.

@3681086 I think he got 3 German caps, but youre right its ridiculous he didnt grace international football more. Germany certainly could have used him in Euro 2000 when Albertz was in the form of his life and they got knocked out in the first round and only scored 1 goal.
Should of played defensive football with gazza and laudrup on the counter like the Italians used to do. You saw glimpses of genius from gazza and laudrup but not enough. Laudrup was disappointing in many games in the Champions League.
