Albertz was one of the most underrated mid's around at that time. he was a guy who could bring magic with 1 kick of the ball or one surging run forward past 3 or 4 players before rocketing the ball into the top corner or smashing home a 1000 mph free kick from 35yds. lol The Hammer was the man

@@georgen1693 there is a reason why dck advocaat kept him but got rod of the rest. he didn't get many games for germany due to politics. you've got to be pals with certain ppl. the national managers had no say on team selection... certain ppl had ti be picked.
back then i knew that he was probably the best attacking midfielder they had at that time, and it used to puzzle me why he was never picked. but now older and looking back it was because of politics
