- Met with the President of the Arizona Magnum Mafia! He has a 2005 Magnum R/T with Long tube headers! Man that thing is LOUD!! And it sounds AMAZING!!

The magnum rt is really a treat! I had a 07 one and man that car was so fun to drive! It sound good and everything! I hate that they discontinued it! I had 22’s on mines and a normal day would turn into someone testing me out at red lights and then getting smoked lol

This Magnum makes me love my 05 RT Magnum that much more! Mine is also mostly stock. Shorty wires as well for second pugs, need the headers and the Intake now for sure though. ❤️🙏 Much love to Arizona clubs. 💯

Glad to see others also rock with nagnum. Just last month I was racing my friends cammed and tuned 4.7l vortec in his gm truck. The old magum is stock, but its take off speed is probably what saved me.

What exhuast does the magnum have from headers all the way through I need to know all 3? & how many rpms can he rev too because it sounds like he has atleast a 6200 rpm Tcm in that or something unless that’s all just backfire but it’s sounds good. I got kooks 1-7/8 longtubes going into gutted magnaflow high flows & corsa extreme the rest of the way back & mine is so quiet inside the car but on the outside it’s ridiculous but I love that backfire sound the magnum has especially coming from a 5.7. I built a procharged ‘05 5.7 magnum with my boy back in 2014 ish. Fully built & it had some big balls .
Did you do anything special to keep that beastwagon cool in the warmer months? Like, tuning the fans, bigger radiator, 180' T-stat, etc.. I currently live in a colder region and my car gets into the 220's at times in the summer in stop and go traffic. I'm doing something about it this spring.

R/t magnum is a classic for sure and is literally one of the best looking crossover ever created, and the big v8 grants it much better performance and sound that their i4 and v6 couterparts..still tho, a 5.7 will never really compete with a 6.1 nor a 6.4 at the end of they day unless they're cammed, tuned, and/or utilizing forced induction...6.1 is an engine designed for performance right out the box while the 5.7 will usually require major work to run toe and toe, or even edge out a 6.1..
