I just picked up one of these for $500, it has a screwed starter solenoid and won't start "Unless you bypass the relay" i haven't heard it run yet. but she's my first bike! I cannot wait to start motovlogs!
I'm grinning like an idiot watching this just like I do riding mine! Got my learner's last year (I'm 52) and absolutely loving this bike! Mine's an 88.
Just got myself one! Getting the itch to ride it, but it was abit neglected so I’ve gone through and rebuilt/ maintained everything so hopefully on the road before summer!
Just brought an 89 as well, going to fix it up cosmetically and have it as a weekend warrior bike haha, has alot of corrosion but should clean up well, had trouble starting so I cleaned the terminals and it runs sweet asf, also replaced the fuel line with a Briggs and Stratton line
4 cylinder 250 are good but I learned on a Kwaka KR 250 2 stroke. Back in the day when 2 stokes ruled the world lol .RG'S and RD's were death machines and everyone wanted one :) Still got my Leather Jacket for the KR ! Hmmm just remembered that. Great Vid Bro !
Greetings. On my mc19, the compression is coming to an end, now the compression is from 8 to 9 atmospheres. Tell the guys where you can buy a piston group, rings and more. I saw that they sell Aliexpress on the Chinese site, I understand that this is not Japan, but even so, someone may have experience, for what mileage such spare parts are enough. Thank you.
As nice these small 4cylinder sport bikes were, in todays market, they are pretty much redundant. In todays congested cities single cylinder CBR250R still makes a lot of sense.
Mike Hunter, it shouldn’t be, if they took care of it. Just make sure the bike is okay, cause it could’ve gone through a lot. Make sure the seller is honest if you decide to check it out.
I used to have one of these, miss it even more after watching this, best thing by far was the sound
yeah. they sound awesome. wish they would bring the inline 4 250 back
still love the looks of the older bikes
It is a great little bike. It is going on sale next week
