The innvocatons is soo good. I have the evernight edition and loved it so I got the BN edition also. Snowglobe was very good. It has a unique twist, it’s very interesting.
Glad I'm not the only one that needed two versions for The Invocations! I'm so glad to hear that! I think I'm going to try to read it this coming month

Came across your video and just wanted to let you know that you seem like such a sweet and down to earth type of person. I currently have A Flicker In The Dark on my summer tbr and hoping to read The Quiet Tenant some time in the fall! Now that you've mentioned The Secret Garden, I feel like I need to go back and re-watch because there's a specific scene that has lived rent free in my mind for like 15 years now and I need to finally confirm if it's actually from the movie lol. I remember loving Just As Long As We're Together by Judy Blume when I was in grade school which is a little wild to me because I kind of completely forgot about her all these years. I recently bought Summer Sisters by her which made me kind of want to go back and re-read ALAWT again for nostalgia. Anyway, can't wait to see more content from you and I hope you have a beautiful rest of your week! 💖

I know the library would help save, but I've had some unfortunate experiences and can be a bit of a germaphobe with the books I borrow now. But I may try to thrift especially since my experience with Pango has been amazing so far! 😄

Good luck with the book-buying ban -- that's tough! I'm doing them one month at a time (did one in December, doing one currently in June) and it's probably the best I could handle 😂 So happy for you that you got the edition you wanted of Out on a Limb, it's clear how much it means to you
I feel like this would probably be the best option for me as well 😂otherwise this will be extremely difficult for me! This was my first book with a surprise pregnancy. I didn't know if I would like it, but I love the author's writing style and the banter. So far this is the best book I've found with limb difference representation as the author also has a limb difference. But I always keep an eye out 😄 I'm planning on reading it this month so I'll definitely let you know!
@@goodmornindreamer Maybe you can tell yourself you're only doing the ban for one month, and then renew it as long as you need to save money? I feel like having an end date in sight makes it easier. The risk with the deadline approach though is just going overboard again as soon as the ban ends, which I definitely did after the December one 😅 so I need to find a better long-term solution. I've tried so many times to tell myself "You're only allowed to buy one book once you've read 2 you already own" (a bit of a one-in-one-out approach) but never succeeded with it... Ideally, I would only buy a new book if I'm going to read it right away, but it is *hard* (I need help)

I think I'm going to try to hold out until next month after we get back from a trip. Crossing my fingers this works!
🤣totally a valid concern! I just got these bookshelves a few months ago and I already need new ones....but there are worse things to spend money on I suppose lol 😅
I just avoid book stores and the book section from Walmart. I generally don't buy books online cause I don't have patience to wait for a package to arrive to be able to read something
It's so hard! I just love being around books, but taking a look at the book section never goes as expected. I wasn't big into buying books online before but when I started finding better deals, it made it my go to for getting books. Plus it just feels like a surprise whenever books arrive because sometimes I forget which ones are arriving in the mail! 🥰
