Ive done this but i get the android screen and then the phone cuts off EDIT: now its stuck with the message: Download Failed!!! Please check your download flow is right.

I did this and it managed to download the image to the phone but the phone still freeze when booting up. Was it not just a brick and the phone is fried somehow? There's no visual damage that would indicate that the phone is broken. I tried several times and both with OOS 10 and OOS 11, with wiping everthing in recovery mode after and also tried without doing so.
Assuming you already have drivers and everything connects, that should be it The tool has the file you need, as you should be finding the tool specifically for your device

Thanks for the video! I'm having one small issue... After I extract the Zip file for my OnePlus 8T and I don't see the .exe file anywhere to launch the tool all other files are there though. I tried downloading from 2 different sources but it's the same. Am I doing something wrong?
@@FilthyCasualTech Thanks for replying. Yes same link. But I figured out it was my antivirus program putting the .exe file on quarantine. After turning it off I was able to successfully downgrade from Android 14 (latest OTA) to the original Android 11.
Hello! I have a bricked (total black screen) OnePlus 9 LE2115. Trying to use the MSM Global tool, it tells me, "Device not match image". I'd love to fix it without having to send it in for a repair.

Did you have any errors appearing? Make sure it's in the proper mode and that you have the proper download. MSM should be able to revive just about any bricked device that doesn't have hardware related damage.

GM21 XX looks to be US Not sure of the consequences as it is a slightly different OS build GM21AA is the Global/India version that should be used on a GM1911 device

Not with MSM, you would usually only see older builds on that as it's more of a recovery tool. You would need to OTA, Local update or install another way

It depends on what you download There are some links in the description that have OnePlus Models and OxygenOS versions. The 7Pro has options for OxygenOS 9, 10 and 11

Yesterday, I saw your pixel experience installation video for oneplus 7 pro. then flash that rom successfully. Then today, I was want to go back to stock rom. so I used this MSMTool. I have used msm tool before with proper qualcom driver. So today, during flash stock rom by MSMTool, it shows an error in middle of the process. Which was related to flashing System.img at 34%. so after 10 minutes of stuck. i had remove the phone from pc. After removing My device has not turing on. It was showing nothing. No charged Response, no logo anything. Then now when I'm trying to connect it to pc by cable and pressing voulme up and Down, windows says, USB device not recognise. I've tried many times on different pc. But it shows same error. Is there any solution? How can I connect my phone edl mode with pc using qualcom diagonostic? Or my phone is completely dead?

ahh right - yep, fair enough haven't used Paranoid Android so couldn't comment on flashing. Always a risk when using competing stuff, but at least it can generally be recovered if it goes bad. That said, I have previously used Pixel Experience Recovery to install LineageOS
OnePlus doesn't look to have made this available for the 10 Pro, with talk that they might never. Fastboot Enhance appears to be the tool of choice for the 10 Pro

Assuming it follows the same trends as OnePlus devices - you should just ensure you get the appropriate download for your device, matching the model number (eg. RMX3511 being a Realme C35)

The general preference is to do it manually - flash OOS > lock bootloader
But MSM will get you the desired outcome too

Could you try a different MSM file?

For my 7TPro, I have always used the 10 version - then updated to 11 via OTA

See if you can tell which is more recent
As long as it's the right driver, it should be fine to try and see if your PC recognises your device
I am using pixel experience can directly install another custom rom like kosp or I have to go back to oxygen and than install kosp rom
Generally should be able to - if you have issues though drop back to OOS first

It really sounds like a driver issue still, they can be very finicky unfortunately

Heya, I found the process pretty confusing.
How did you go putting it into EDL mode?
The phone screen shouldn't change but this would be the only time the driver gets picked up
Just connect the phone, then go to windows updates and into optional ones and download those Qualcomm and google drivers that pops up
Yesterday, I saw your pixel experience installation video for oneplus 7 pro. then flash that rom successfully. Then today, I was want to go back to stock rom. so I used this MSMTool. I have used msm tool before with proper qualcom driver. So today, during flash stock rom by MSMTool, it shows an error in middle of the process. Which was related to flashing System.img at 34%. so after 10 minutes of stuck. i had remove the phone from pc. After removing My device has not turing on. It was showing nothing. No charged Response, no logo anything. Then now when I'm trying to connect it to pc by cable and pressing voulme up and Down, windows says, USB device not recognise. I've tried many times on different pc. But it shows same error. Is there any solution? How can I connect my phone edl mode with pc using qualcom diagonostic? Or my phone is completely dead?

I recommend using the A10 ones instead, then updating via OTA

Not that I can see unfortunately.
There does appear to be some guides around for flashing stock to the CE2, but that would have it's own risks
While im flashing the rom on this msm tool im getting error call param is failed i dont know how to flash the rom 😟

Everything I can see online seems to point to an issue with the Qualcomm driver, making sure you have the latest installed

I don't believe so - there may be other methods though, as I can see some discussion on using Linux to unbrick devices

currently using oneplus 6 with lineage os 13, now it's in crashdump mode, and bootloader is locked, can you please suggest something to fix it ? (adb is not working)
You should still be able to use the MSM tool to recover this, as EDL mode is separate to ADB
You will lose your data though

Thanks man it was me asking if it was possible to flash another rom through aospa recovery I just got my hands on an old oneplus 5t and will try this when I’m home from work just to practice before trying it on my oneplus 7 pro (limited edition almond)
I haven't used AOSP recovery to install another ROM before, I don't see it too often.
Practise on a non-daily driver is always prudent, good luck!

haven't used Paranoid Android so couldn't comment on flashing.
Always a risk when using competing stuff, but at least it can generally be recovered if it goes bad.
That said, I have previously used Pixel Experience Recovery to install LineageOS

Not that I'm aware - it's usually done to revert to what a device started with, but it's painful for the 10Pro

OnePlus doesn't look to have made this available for the 10 Pro, with talk that they might never.
Fastboot Enhance appears to be the tool of choice for the 10 Pro

If it fails, try an Intel based system, I have bad experience on AMD with this program. And also use USB 2
My system is an AMD - but understandable if there's been issues
For me it works perfectly fine on my Intel 8th gen laptop, but on my ryzen 5000 desktop it just doesn't work.

Yeah, this is also used by some Realme devices
I haven't used any Realme devices though, so didn't want to include them in case of any differences

My firmware is a global version and is it okay to install the same firmware but a different region or manufacturer?
Assuming it follows the same trends as OnePlus devices - you should just ensure you get the appropriate download for your device, matching the model number (eg. RMX3511 being a Realme C35)
