    I ended up making this lanyard on my own Full Immunity using the one BM provided. Besides making it much easier to draw from my pocket, it also really does help to keep a nearly full grip. Thank you for the excellent walkthrough!

    I love putting Snake knot lanyards with 7 knots on every Knife possible. Some with and some without Titanium beads. Love the Channel, I try to watch everything you make. Keep it up! Do you have any Stickers of your Awesome Channel Logo! If not, you should get some made! We want some. 🔪👍😁👍🔧

    I like to put paracord lanyards on smaller knives because it makes them easier to pull out of the pocket and gives you a better grip. As a bonus, if you ever find yourself lost in the wilderness and in need of some string to build a shelter (or whatever), you can tie the paracord strands together as needed.

    I have a lanyard on my Leatherman Arc. It gives me something to grab onto to help get the tool out of the sheath when I'm not looking at it. I can imagine it helps with the same function on EDC pocket clipped knives, although I don't currently use one. I really appreciate your site. thanks.

      @allosaurusfragilis7782 a certain egomaniacal knife “influencer” made the removal of lanyard holes and glass breakers off folders into his life achievement goal. Don’t know why. The industry doesn’t really mind because not having a feature is cheaper for them than having it.

    I dislike most deep carry clips because it makes it more difficult for me to get the knife out of my pocket. I have also found that many of the knives with deep carry clips don't have lanyard holes. I wish they did because on those that do I put a lanyard on. Thank you for this video. It was interesting.

      I buy zipper pulls and slip on pocket clips. It helps on knives like the livewire. Plus many colors to choose from no skills required.

      For me all my knives have the deep carry pocket clip even my Cold Steel knives. Usually I have three MXG clips on hand , once I had to make the hole bigger.
      Pulling the knife out of my front pocket. I put my hand open straight out ,my thumb slips into my pocket in front of the blade, my fingers straight out I wrap them on the very bottom of the knife, start curling your fingers which starts raising the knife straight up once it's high enough wrap your pinky finger arond the base of the knife , raising a little more so to clear the pocket. Practicing this way till it becomes second nature. I never liked the pinch grip way . Also sticking your thumb in your pocket looks natural plus the palm of your hand covers the knife totally and is proper position to pop it out into the hand , no one could see it being deployed. 😊

    Little known fact, maybe an urban legend, but if you say "lanyard" three times in a row while staring at a knife, a wild Ed will appear. I am and forever will be the Lanyard King, so much so that they are known, in many circles, as "Edyards". Great video, I enjoyed it a lot!! As far as MC goes, everyone knows he's just not all together there in the head when it comes to lanyards, but we all forgive him. EDYARDS!! EDYARDS!! EDYARDS!! EDYARDS!! EDYARDS!!

    I unsubscribed from reviewers who trash companies that put lanyard attachments. It’s ignorant for them to do that. Then turn around and complain about holes for left handed clips. They don’t have to use them yet influence companies to omit them entirely

    • @CuttingBoardRx
      @CuttingBoardRx  7 месяцев назад +7

      @@I_N33D_M0R3 we all know who “they” is. Instead of unsubscribing, you could leave comments like “Cutting Board says…” or “I saw on CBRx channel that…” especially when “they” does the half-assed spine tap test. “They” banned me from commenting on “their” channel and that’s part of the reason I started mine.
      Don’t you love the irony? 🤣

      Nobody should trust "reviewers" that have not even used what they are reviewing.
