Becca and Chris, the Jeep is looking good and starting to come together. Becca, I know you can't wait for the Jeep to be finished so that you can drive it.
Love the matching MagnaFlow jackets. It been cold! Engineering by Bec & Chris is entertaining. No room for true Dual Exhaust down both sides? What you built is pretty clever; y’all got skills and talent. Out-Takes make me smile! LiteBriteNationIsExhausting!
Years ago, when 3-inch aluminum heavy gauge pipe was starting to be used for certain road signposts, someone had 3-inch aluminum straight pipes from their 454s headers back. lol. It was so loud and obnoxious. lol. That exhaust looks awesome, I can't wait to see and hear the finished product.
Perfect timing..I’m getting ready to redo my hacked 6.0 exhaust in my stretch TJ and all your troubles will be mine also. I’ve got a sm465/ORD doubler with 3&4 links and SD diffs so space is tight, I was contemplating a single side dump but the dual setup is awesome. I have a rear Antirock so it’s in the way of any high clearance tail exit pipe. Looking at what you did it will almost directly fit my rig..I will be stealing all your guys ideas!
This is addictive always punch like button before I see a show and can never push the play button fast enough litebrite shows are so professional and watch able enjoyable informative cheers guys yet another top classy effort
Posted 5 minutes ago and almost 200 views. You guys rock. I'm right at this point also, lifted my jeep, headers and trying to figure out my exhaust too. What fun. I need you, Chris and Beck... and a lift, a shop, etc.. This really isn't as easy as you make it look. But my driveway build is almost ready. Your build is perfection. I only wish I had the resources to perfect my build, 🤔or a Beck.
I know it’s too late because this was probably done a week or two ago but we had the same problem when we did our dual exhaust on a 52 Willys jeep LS swap, so when we were boxing it into the frame we used 2 1/2” stainless w/ 2.5" x 6" Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Exhaust Flex Pipe 10", it worked awesome
love the hangers... i had custom exhaust done on my jeep to move the crossover pipe behind the transfer case and it all needs to be supported better. Love that design
Your work is cleaner than a cats ass!! Everything is coming together, yea beck,it's time too climb all that red rocks ute style. U guys work so good together, and smile a lot. Can't wait for first drive in that hunk of coolness. Good to see ya back at it.latter Devo on the block.
Wow really amazing tedious work. Great job! I am a little curious why y’all didn’t go with dual exhaust down each side for better flow… but what you came up with is pretty cool. Looking forward to seeing the tub dropped down to give a better perspective of how the tips come out from the frame and tub.
my guess is just packaging. The other side has the driveshaft and all the wiring for the trans... can be challenging to run a 3" pipe there without tons of heat build up. but maybe they will give you a more knowledgeable answer
Yes, there is ZERO room down the driver side, with the flat belly and the links and driveshaft, you cant even really get anything thru there, the wire harness and fuel lines will run up the passanger side frame rail also. will be heat wrapped.
here is a Crazy. Crazy idea. how about running the Exhaust though the Frame? Connect with a V-band welded to the frame for easy on/off and seal up all the holes.
Great idea, sooooo many little factory holes, and there are like 4 dowels that run thru the frame on each side. would have been trick. and the rear of the frame pinches really tight at the back half.
@Bec Ebner that's awesome thanks for the response your jeep is definitely going to be luxurious. I have a 2006 65th anniversary edition named duck hunt.
Knowing from working on these type builds all the time you had to know the exhaust would be challenging. Considering that there was extensive work done in the why not run the exhaust through the length of the frame. Not a new idea. Lincoln did it on cars in the fifties.
I would like to know if you have long term experience with the exhaust hangers. That exhaust seems to be to solid for the flex the engine will produce. I have had bad experiences with no movement in the exhaust.
Yes, thats why we put the flex bellow in there to hang the muffler, cat and the rest of the exhaust. The tabs length and the fact, that most is hung off the same frame rail, should minumise the movement, and the headers and collector are hung from the engine, that shouldnt flex. there is a 1/2" clearance everywhere. we also have a few goodies coming up that will help minumize the chassis flex. I thought about this exhaust for a long time, lol. i feel like it should work out really well. thanks for the question.
question - and i don't know but wanted to ask. Regarding trying to eyeball the pipe to join with another and get angles etc.... why couldn't you spray foam the area (i know it's sticky but some type of foam product) to foam the area, so it'll harden a bit to where you could cut it out... but then bisect the foam chunk to be able to get the lines and angles on connecting the two pieces?
Building exhaust systems is most easy part of a build. With a builders kit its like Legos, and cheating. Get a bender and bend your own from straight pipe. That is where exhaust gets tough. Especially when you run dual exhaust and both sides need to mirror from front to back. May I ask why you didn't run the crossover pipe back behind the transfer case rather than having the low hanging fruit? What are you doing for skid plates, will that crossover protrude through the skid plate? Also, is there a reason you didn't just use a "y" instead of spending 3x your time building a collector? For rear hangers why didn't you use solid exhaust isolators on the tail pipes?
Well. most people dont have an exhaust bender in thier garage. There is ZERO room to run anything down the left side of the chassis, and the cab is 1.5" lifted from the frame, this is a flat belly 4 link system, we lifted this engine package as high as we could get it, so the 4 link could get as much triangulation as we could get out the front, that crossover pipe sticks out about 1" bellow the frame rail, most stick out about 3 " and the trans pan and oil pan stick out bellow the frame as well, hers does not. buying an off the shelf y was not an option, again, there is a very limited space available and it had to be custom. solid exhaust hangers? cause frame will still flex and move. appreciate the questions.
@@Garage_Speed please don't get me wrong, I am not busting your cajones, or being judgy. I did the same as you with Jenny's Wyld Chyld YJ only we managed to have just enough room to run 2.5 inch stainless down the left frame and crossover under the Borg Warner transfer case rear shaft yolk to a 3" stainless Y. I am a little bit of an exhaust snob. I used to bend exhaust systems for Muffler City in Upland, CA. Express Muffler and Hitch in Escondido, CA. Wholesale Tube Bending in Escondido, CA. Hot Rods and Custom Stuff in Escondido, CA. I got into building Sand Cars, Pre-Runners, Trophy Trucks, Mech-Tech Motorsports in Escondido, CA., And I used to be the Co-Driver / Crew Chief for James (Jim) and Mark Temple Jr / Sr at Temple Construction Racing. I just got a tube bender I am going to start building custom cages and chassis here in Kanab, Utah. Coming from the same basic background and area, I totally recognize the quality and value of what you do.
I have a comment about clearance, clarence! For a trail repair (ie if drive shaft goes cablamo), would you be able to unscrew the drive shaft if its right next to scalding hot exhaust can? Also I hope Chris's hand is on the mend because in this video it looks like infection and inflammation started spreading from where he hurt his hand.
Loving the look of Side Chic in the background. I always love watching you guys in the shop.
Lite Brite Garage is my favorite entertainment for cool down time. Thank you for your time.
Anyone else getting board with Litebrites videos? Miss the only wheeling/ travel videos!
You guys are an ABSOLUTE GREAT team! Thanks for the continuing education, Master Chris!
Becca and Chris, the Jeep is looking good and starting to come together. Becca, I know you can't wait for the Jeep to be finished so that you can drive it.
The LJ build is my fav!
I love the Chris think’s outside the box. Way different then the big exhaust manufacturers. Great job on the exhaust!
Chris and Bec videos are like post-grad courses, thank you!
Hmmm, what's more than just custom?
Chris custom!!
Very Nice!!!
I can't wait for warm weather.!! Tank tops and shorts.!!!!!
Chris has mad exhaust skills. You the man.
Always great workmanship a dynamic duo imagination and craftsmanship just awesome entertainment in building off-road vehicles
THAT TURNED OUT REALLY NICE!
Keep it up guys ! Love LJ/TJ content.

That exhaust turned out sick!!! I really appreciate you discussing what issues y'all run into and then the solution to solving it. Great video!
Looking forward to seeing it completed and on the trail!
Poor Beck! You must be just dying waiting to finally get to drive your Jeep… it’s been in the shop for a long time.
Facts. Lol 🥹
These videos from the Lite Brite Day Care are my favorite on this channel. Really enjoy you guys!
As someone who just this week finished a HEMI TJ swap, the exhaust was the absolute hardest thing of the swap.
Nice work, y'all are going to such great lengths to get that awesome Jeep together, I think that exhaust is all win
🤘😁
Jet-Hot coatings are the only way to go!!! Jet-Hot is right down the road from where I live in NC. I've been using them since the 90s.

Amazing work on the exhaust. So well throughout.
When you know what you’re doing it looks easy. Nice job - nice work!
I foresee more custom building onto Becs jeep! Excellent job you two! Safe home travel Bec and have some fun! Happy Trails to all of you!
You two do so such a great Job I can't wait to Bring my Gladiator in for it's 392 conversion.
More of these videos. I cant click fast enough to watch the work chris and bec do
Oh that Jeep is gonna come out super dope!!!
OMG! Functional Art. Freakin amazing!
This jeep is going to be down right nasty!

Can't wait to watch your next video
Likes the out takes. In the end. You need to do a videos of just the out takes one day. Take care God Bless.
Pretty mean looking exhaust . Love the builds
Your welds are fantastic. Your a pro
Another great great video, what a team. Next thing you know you will be building a rig from scratch. Keep them coming
you guys are the best enjoy your videos.
You should take a look at Marman flanges. They are really a great option. Just used them on a project. Really provides a great seal.
Yall are amazing!
That was incredible guys
Such nice work!
Absolutely amazing!!!!
Adapt and overcome, great work guys!!! Lovin the shop videos ❤❤💯🤙

Great stuff guys
Another awesome video you guys 🎉🎉🎉🎉Beck you’re becoming amazing welder❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome Job !!
Nice job
Great job guys!!
Awesome job 👍👍
Totes impressive!
Impressive engineering... 🙂
Nice work on the exhaust Beck. Your welds always look great. But why didn’t you flood it with argon gas &/or tig it?
Very nice exaust built...🤙🤙👌👌
Nice work!
amazing work!!!!!!
Should just register it there in whatever county y'all are at (assuming there's no emissions tests) and get rid of the cat altogether!
I used to think the same way, But, the cat does not rob ANY horsetorques and scrubs all the stinky smells. I will never run without one. 😁
This is some epic fab work……did the part where you put in the exhaust cutouts get left on the edit room floor?
I absolutely cannot wait to see this lj back out on the road. Beck have you came up with a name for it yet?
Yes! Naming my jeep Luxury ☺️
@Bec Ebner that's awesome thanks for the response your jeep is definitely going to be luxurious. I have a 2006 65th anniversary edition named duck hunt.
Limited on exhaust routing choices. Creativity looks to be in *high-compute* mode.
Knowing from working on these type builds all the time you had to know the exhaust would be challenging. Considering that there was extensive work done in the why not run the exhaust through the length of the frame. Not a new idea. Lincoln did it on cars in the fifties.
Soooooo many holes to plug on the frame 😆😆.
Good stuff
So, will the body sit nice with rock sliders? The Bec & Chris show on Sunday morning.
21:31 21:53 Spaceship looks like a B-2 Bomber
Also the CAT above the skid plate... no stolen CAT on this jeep
First! Thought you would fool me again!
Haha never
Fantastic....
Hey Guys
What Miller Welders do you run? My old Lincoln needs to be replaced. I’m doing general fabrication on a K5 Blazer.
Love your Builds
Awesome as always, it is coming along, you'll be driving it soon
Looks good!
Will the rear section be able to come out with the body on?
How long are those rear links!!!!! Holy cow
Beck, Chris needs to buy you a horse.
Difference between a fabricator and a engineer
Beck my name is james McDonald from Rochester ny
I just looked at the brand of wheels you have summit racing has that brand
Thats a stainless steel setup, right? Did you have to use different tools/wire to not contaminate?
Did you ever drop the body down to make sure it all actually fits? I imagine it does. Just curious.

Thanks man, In this video, we had the suspension completely bumped out, it will never be there at ride height. 😀
How do you remove the tailpipes without lifting the body?
it will come forward an inch and can get it out of thew wheelwell. lol, we checked a few times😃
@@Garage_Speed just letting you know someone was paying attention 😂😆😂
who made your port a band table
Hey Mike, i had access to a waterjet a few years back, and i made it mysef..😃
wooooo!
Nah. Up thru the floor and out the passenger side quarter panel.
That’s what we said but bec doesn’t like the side exit out of the quarter panel. I told her she’s freaking crazy but whatever
