As the department clarified, intelligence identified the position of the Patriot division near the village of Lyubimovka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. It was hit by the crew of the operational-tactical missile system Iskander-M. As a result of the rocket attack, two Patriot missile launchers and the AN/MPQ-65 radar station were completely destroyed. As a result of the impact, two launchers of the complex and the AN/MPQ-65 radar station were completely destroyed
Yeah, capturing at such a staggering cost a string of villages in the middle of nowhere that can't be held makes zero military sense. Doing that when a vital logistic hub of your army like Pokrovsk is about to fall is making Zelenskyy the top candidate for Darwin Award in this century. Zelenskyy needs the media on his side imo as it shows the Ukrainians that they can still actually do a counteroffensive. If it wasn't for people thinking Ukraine was about to lose then he would have never approved this offensive but he did so that Ukraine could get more international support due to such a quick Ukrainian advance. Imo this guy really needs to stop making these videos because it makes it look like Ukraine is about to collapse even though a full scale breakthrough and mass rout of the Ukrainians will realistically never happen (both Ukrainians and Russians use Defense in Depth, so they have defense lines behind their defense lines, ensuring they can fall back whenever a position is Untenable)

Ukraine lacks the capacity and munitions to overcome Russia’s air and ground advantages and is suffering heavy casualties, the Department of Defense Office of the Inspector General (OIG) said in a new quarterly report published on Thursday. "The UAF [Ukrainian Armed Forces] continued to suffer heavy attrition rates and lack sufficient capabilities and munitions-particularly artillery, air defense, and long-range strike capabilities-to overcome Russia’s air and ground advantages," the report said. Despite U.S. supplies of munition that began arriving in June, Ukraine will not be able to overcome Russia's daily fire rate of 10,000 artillery rounds or conduct a large-scale offensive operation for at least six months, the report added. Much of the ammunition requested by Ukraine is no longer produced in the U.S. and has been reduced to a minimum; their volumes are insufficient for the medium-term goals of the UAF, according to the Pentagon. Twenty-four servicemen from the 22nd separate mechanized brigade of the UAF surrendered to the Russian army in an organized manner near the village of Komarovka in the Kursk Direction. While some NATO members have supported the Kiev regime’s attack on Russia’s Kursk region, others expressed "misgivings publicly and privately", unnamed Western officials told the Bloomberg news agency. Those NATO allies who remain skeptical cited the risk that "the escalation in fighting could divert badly needed [Ukrainian] troops from a fragile front line, and potentially sow division among Kiev’s backers," the officials argued. Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, for his part, called the Kursk attack an escalation that would push a ceasefire "further and further away." The skeptics consider it unlikely that Ukraine will be able to hold Russian territory in the wake of the attack, according to the sources. They added that the lack of clarity over the objectives of the attack remains a "dominant factor" in the matter. If Volodymyr Zelensky’s goal is to secure a bargaining chip in the possible negotiations, "the timing of the assault may not play to his advantage," one of the insiders claimed.

Pro-russians everywhere, including this comment field, make up goals for Ukraine to make it seem like they failed. Such speculation is pretty pointless. Wait and look at the results.
The Ministry of Defense reported that during the fighting, Russian units, reflecting the attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to invade the territory of the Russian Federation in the Kursk region, destroyed up to 2,860 military personnel, 41 tanks, 40 armored personnel carriers, 23 infantry fighting vehicles, 213 armored fighting vehicles
The key determinant of success in a war of attrition is the casualty-exchange ratio, not capturing territory, which Western commentators obsess over. The casualty-exchange ratio in the Kursk offensive decisively favours Russia for two reasons. First, it has caused relatively few Russian casualties because Ukraine’s army effectively overran undefended territory. Second, once alerted to the attack, Moscow quickly brought massive airpower to bear against the advancing Ukrainian troops, who were in the open and easy to strike. Unsurprisingly, the attacking forces lost many soldiers and a huge proportion of their equipment. To make matters worse, Kyiv removed top-notch combat units from the front lines in eastern Ukraine - where they are desperately needed - and made them part of the Kursk strike force. This move is tilting the already lopsided casualty-exchange ratio on that critically important front further in Russia’s favour. It is no wonder - given what a foolish idea the Kursk incursion is - that the Russians were caught by surprise. Prof. John Meishemeier

The Russian Ministry of Defense released footage of the destruction of two Ukrainian Patriot missile launchers and a radar station in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, for his part, called the Kursk attack an escalation that would push a ceasefire "further and further away."
The skeptics consider it unlikely that Ukraine will be able to hold Russian territory in the wake of the attack, according to the sources.
They added that the lack of clarity over the objectives of the attack remains a "dominant factor" in the matter. If Volodymyr Zelensky’s goal is to secure a bargaining chip in the possible negotiations, "the timing of the assault may not play to his advantage," one of the insiders claimed.

@@jesan733Tell me.. if you believe only 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed.. explain the desperateness for manpower?

I feel now will start holy war about specs of rockets - can or cannot Himars destroy bridge - of course in wiki is written that there exist HIMARS rockets with 91 kg warhead, I do not know I’m not an expert but something is shady (not all wiki articles are equally good), 91 kg warhead they say, heh lets look at other data overall weight of missile M31A2 is 306 kg. heh that 1/3 of it is war head? And it travels 100 km? all in package 22.7cm diameter and 4m long? Really. Patriot missile weight is 900+ kg and warhead is 90kg, range 120 km.
Wiki article about HIMARS GMLRS feels off - it contradicts itself: M31 missile paragraph: M31 rockets with 200 lb (91 kg) high-explosive unitary warhead. Range: 15-92 km (9.3-57.2 mi). Entered production in 2005. The warhead is produced by General Dynamics and contains 51 pounds (23 kg) of PBX-109 high explosive in a steel blast-fragmentation case.[97] - it at the same time 91 kg and 23 kg- how?
No way! comment get deleted, and that a not for a first time. How I hate that. Whom bothers comment? Bet that channel owner - sit such armchair general and feels good censoring comments has nothing better to do.
Ukraine has tried the last strategic move obtainable, before the collapse. They have brought all that was left of the best troops, towards a last gasp to obtain what would have allowed an advantage, leaving the entire front line to oblivion, since only citizens with a week of exercises are defending it. Also useless and vain are all the proclamations of the allies, regarding indefinite aid, since the weapons, would remain to molder in warehouses, without personnel to use them.
Any confirmation if Sirsky has been liquidated or not? There are rumors.
... could you please put a date/time visually inside your video and/or the title for clarifications etc.? thx.
Ukrainians have verry heavy losses in kursk. I saw some images with a lot of their armored cars destroyed. Any estimates? Could be 2-3000 ucrainians neutralized? I think ucraina started the offensive operation of this year. They started with kursk. Maybe they have some troops near: at least 50.000 in the back to be push in the north direction.
The 80th and 82nd Brigades have lost combat effectiveness already, so they're already down to 10 brigades of the 12 they started with. And of the 10 left, how much have they lost already?
Oh Dunderbeck
Oh Dunderbeck
How could you be so mean?
To ever have invented the sausage meat machine.
Now all the little Ukies will nevermore be seen.
Cause they've been ground to sausages in Dunderbeck's machine!
One day Zelensky
came walking in the store
He bought a pound of sausages
and laid them on the floor
Then he began to whistle
and whistled a Nazi tune
And all the little sausages went marching around the room!
@@2fathomsdeeper 82nd are the ones who didn't even want to be there and had their commander fired for not wanting to do the Kursk attack
@@off6848 And they're been ground to sausages in Dunderbeck's machine!
the kursk map for ukraine's ground taken look the same today as from 5 or 6 days ago, if it was that good it would of moved on days ago and taken another 20-40 villages. instead the news is just bragging about the same # of villages taken today compared to a week ago.
They will most likely push the Russians out of the border area up to the river now to extend the front line. Their military recruiters will then have to start working double shifts instead of taking bribes.
Jebus. Russia has captured a ridiculous amount of territory west of Avdiivka since that city fell.
Ridiculous?? They are near from one the important hubs in the doneskt area. If that hub falls, part of the front line will have problems with logistics and the Russians will advance much faster. Ridiculous is your comment.
@@yomeroyomismo8212 English must not be your first language if my comment confuses you.
@@yomeroyomismo8212 he meant a lot of territory.
@@dwu9369 Next time don’t use the word ridiculous to express lots, plenty, bunch, several, numerous, etc etc.
To be fair a lot English speakers don't use English correctly.
Also they destroyed MiG in dnipro.
Neither Weeb Union nor I have sources of private information within the Russian General Staff. I disagree with the predictions he made in this post regarding the Russian offensive in the Pokrovsk front.
To my surprise, Weeb Union spoke at some length of the future Russian advances on the front going toward the south.
Away from Pokrovsk.
I differ. They're going to advance in the direction of Pokrovsk, toward which they have been advancing since February of this year (when they took Avdiivka).
The Russians will do what they need, to liberate Pokrovsk in the safest way possible for them. Whether this is going to be a direct march toward Pokrovsk or some sort of isolation/encirclement remains to be seen.
5:50 why railways is such an important line? it's not like they are hard to cross, aren't they?
Railways in exsoviet countries are usually built on man-made bank that raises minimum of 0,5m above surrounding landscape. Not to mention they are often running within treeline on both sides to reduce noise pollution. Those two facts make them valuable military position
HIMARS into Russian territory, isn’t that a red line that draws the U.S. right into the war?
The main reason to not provide Ukraine with long range HIMARS rockets was to prevent exactly that…
The red lines are vanishing. Eventually there will be no restrictions and every high-value target within 300 km will be visited by ATACAMS. And then a few hundred F16s will start pushing.
There is no red line, as long no nuclear weapons or strikes on NPP happens. That’s my opinion
Russia never talked about red lines, its our western media that stated those red lines.
Red line for patriots😅😅 they said we destroy them just send them.
Same goes for all the other we have send leopards, abrams , atacms, f16, himars ,pzh2000, stormshadows , and even the biggest joke of a tank the challenger 2 😅😅 . You send it we destroy it no red lines.
They don't care. They are already at war with Russia
An absurd red line indeed because the Russians were happy launching missiles from their territory, meanwhile the ukrainians could not do anything... somethat unfair if you ask me.
ive been so pro Russia and really thought Russia would win but after this past week idk not looking good 😢
What's the update on Koronevo ???
Po co stawiać trzy wyrzutnie rakiet obok siebie? Chyba tylko po to, by wróg mógł łatwiej je zniszczyć.
So, I'm a little confused...... the Russians haven't captured the important heights near Pokrovsk?? The video says they have, but then you talk about how they maybe will take heights in the future??
I’m confused as well, maybe he meant to type Toretsk? There are no heights around Pokrovsk.
@@drencrum Yes there is you have to view it in terrain mapping there's a whole ridge that runs from where Russia is now down to Vodiane and everything to the west of it is a deep valley
@@off6848 I know that there are heights West of hrodivka, passed the river- that's where the major defense line is for Ukraine.
❤ RUSSIA 🇷🇺 ❤😊
The few troops in kursk are literally dead man walking. Just a matter of time. RIP to them allready from me.
