i love this my mamá grew up skating and i used to aswell i am almost done with highschool and i just want a break from the craziness and have a good hobby to get into that’s not inside thank u so much for this i pray that my generation and future generations get more outside God bless ❤

Ladies, I started a Meetup group in my area. Getting ppl to skate is hard, it is intimidating I am told by skaters esp 50 and over. I’ve also met young skaters who find skating with others intimidating. It is hard trying to get ppl who want to skate actually get out and skate.
I’m 58 and skate on my own bc I need the practice and love it. I’m not going to wait around for anyone when I have headphones and an neighborhood outdoor rink, trail or beach bike path.
When I was skating all the time, my butt was the best it's ever been! Now I'm back to being a buttless wonder. 😢
