It’s kind of funny how your early comments are how there’s no solution but I’ve been coming back to this exact video learning little by little from the later comments , love how you respond to questions and this vid helped me a lot with the same issue
The system uses an electric pump and nitrogen cylinder as part of the master cylinder. The pump motor typically goes bad in this range, very expensive replacement. Had to get a used master and was still a $1400 dollar repair. I did we a video from an Austrailian owner who was able to rebuild the motor. Good luck.
For the people that are confused, he has stated he replaced the "modulator", in other words the whole assembly. You can replace just the accumulator part# 4795030010
My car did this last night. Popped the hood and my fluids were really low. Added some oil and brake fluid and that at least stopped the noise. Hope this helps.
@@brandobee2264 I went into the ABS Fault Codes on my Autel scanner and went and cleared the codes manually. It's still just a temporary fix cause eventually you will have to buy another brake hydro boost master cylinder.
@@marcwilliams7956 I think it’s abs sensors in my case. Before my shit was beeping dude at the smog shop said they needed to be replaced according to the scanner. So imma hope that’s what it is. My brake fluid is full and I brake fine. So we’ll see.
How did you fix it? Mine is making the beeping noise but turns off and on. It makes. Squeaking noise coming from the brake pedal. I have a 99 Lexus gs300. If you have the link of the part you used would be highly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
My Prado has the same type of master brake unit. Gave same warnings and read up on forum and turns out the motor that makes pressure or vacuum brushes wear out or commutator wears out. Pulled mine out and stripped motor. Found commutator totally worn and 2 fields missing. Taken motor to someone who is going to put new commutator onto armature and new bearings. Costs a lot less replacing whole brake unit.
The modulator assembly was replaced. There are quite a few JDM parts importers that have compatible parts for reasonable prices. I'd avoid junkyards because those units may come off of cars that already have this problem. Hope this helps! -100
Hi! Sorry to hear that. Yes I did but I lost the video showing the fix. I installed a JDM booster...very little in the way of parts swapping required to adapt the JDM to the USDM application. Good luck. -100
Hi! Couldn't quite put a price on the repair but I can tell you that the brake booster+master assembly will need to be replaced. I sourced a replacement from a JDM importer (the source I used has changed names but there are many to choose from) and the replacement, while involved, wasn't terrible. If I had to guess, I'd put the repair between $800 and $1500. Hope this helps. -100

One Hunnit Tech hi there thank you for the video my lexus gs 400 1998 is doing the same noise and brakes are not working also when I was braking before at every light the abs would kick in and I feel the brake vibrate and make an obnoxious noise. Would changing the master brake cylinder help solve the issue? I have read in forums that people would spend all this money getting it changed and the beeping sound returns. ALSO where are you located? any contact info? thank you

Julio K Hello! To be honest, as I mentioned in the video, I am more of a Honda guy. That said, if the related trouble codes point to the booster assembly, a quality replacement would have a good chance at resolving the issue. Good luck! -EKH

My mechanic added fluid and my shit beeps for hella long still. Mad irritating lmfao
Dude that was a huge waste of 12 minutes
The general concensus amongst most creators is that there'll always be critics and only a few are constructive.
Which, Sir, are you?
I cleared (erased) the ABS fault code and the pumped the brakes a few times and the beeping went away.
If it doesn't come back after a few minutes of driving, then you're good to go!
Typically though, that fix is temporary.
Good find!
