Gear Views - New FB Type Serial Receivers from FrSky

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW - This video covers the features and capabilities of the new FB series serial receivers in the Archer Plus and TW lines, namely the Archer Plus R6FB and GR6FB as well as the TW R6FB and GR6FB.
NOTE - These are indeed Serial receivers, there is no PWM capability.

doesn't the FrSky ARCHER PLUS R6 have 6fbus too for Xact servo. Shows in the manual.

No, the Archer Plus R6 has Fbus on the FBus/S.port pin on the 6-pin header only. The Channel Ports are PWM Ch1-24 only. The FB version has 7ports worth of Fbus (Channel ports 1-6 and also one on the 6-pin header) and no PWM ports
Make sure you are looking at the right manual, the download page has the manual for the R6/GR6 and also the manual for the R6FB/GR6FB

I really appreciate your videos, very well done and informative.
What do you think about using one of these RXs with a Neuron ESC with 4 Xact servos in a plane? Would this be a good system for a 60 size aircraft? Any Pros or Cons? TIA

It would work fine, although you'll want a NeuronII, not a Neuron. The NeuronII's are FBus capable and you need that to work properly with XAct servos.
The only thing you would be lacking is any redundancy. If you need that, you'd want an R10+ instead with a serial receiver as the redundant one

Hi Adam, after your commet about Neuron ESC's (I've got the 40S) I guess it's not a good idea to use 40S with SD1 converter until the low A NeuronII are available

Yes, I wouldn't recommend use of the OG Neurons with the FB receivers, and waiting for more NeuronII's for that combo.

Can i change fw and pass a fb version to a pwm one?

No, the hardware is slightly different. The FB versions have all the signal pins on a common rail with the Fbus/S.port pin on the 6-pin header.
