@@DecoTVFrames Thanks. I watched the newest video by you guys. Very informative. Planning to purchase the 2021 Frame TV. Hi Thank you for the great review, with the 2021 model, I have a WII game console, Its seems that there's no COMPONENT CABLE can be connected to the THE ONE CONNECT BOX?
While we haven't tested the 15m cable, it should perform identically. We can't imagine any reason for it not to. As for the width of the connecter... the end that connects into the one connect cord is smaller than the end that connects to the TV. The connector on the smaller end of the cord is 1" x 0.5".
Great unboxing video! Does the 2021 One Connect cable appear to be the same as the 2020 cable? I’m trying to see I can reuse the 2020 connection without redoing the cabling in the wall.
It appears to be the same cord. I haven’t tried to see if they are actually interchangeable yet, but they appear to be the same. Will update this reply in the coming days
I'm pretty sure the sensor is still in the TV. I don't think it's in the one connect box. From what we can tell, the one connect box for 2021 is identical to 2020.
What are the two other plastic pieces included in the Samsung Frame TV? One piece is a 1/4 oval clear plastic piece (what is this?) and there other appears to be a black plastic piece for mounting cable. Thanks for any clarification as it wasn't addressed in the video.
Does the TV come with the toggle bolts shown in your installation video? If not, where can they be purchased? They look much quicker and easier to use than traditional toggle bolts.
Same here!!! We think the One Connect Box is genius in how it allows all connections to be in one place rather than needing to run tons of cords to the TV

Does that new mount (2 pieces) allow the TV to tilt forward like the earlier one-mount? And is it as easy to hang as before? I don't know why they did away with the older "one-mount". That seemed an ingenious innovative mounting scheme.

Is there a way to hide the fixed light and motion sensor on the 2021 version? Will adding an addition frame on top hide it? It is not flush and looks more like a TV now that it is fixed sticking down.

Need some suggestions: Currently between choosing the 2020 75” model for $1,999 vs the 2021 65” model for $1,999. Same price but not sure if the 2021 is worth it more???
That's a tough call, but if you are trying to snatch up a 75" 2020 model, definitely grab it while you can. Those are increasingly hard to come by. We really like the 2021 more because they are so thin and the picture quality is better on the 2021 models
If I am buying a The Frame tv, why would I want it thinner?? The 2020 model looks like a more expensive frame around the tv. The 2021 looks like the cheaper frames at Michael's Arts and Crafts stores. Does anyone else think that? Do you guys have the old 2020s to buy?
I'm planning to use The Frame TV as a conventional TV with a 3rd party wall mount that has full motion swinging capabilities so I'm happy the 2021 version is thinner. The 2020 version for my case would look too fat and ugly.
Hi There, Thanks for doing the comparison of both Samsung Frame TVs. Instead of Samsung do the improvement for 2021 models, such as thinner body and The motion sensor...Is there any improvement in sound quality? As I see in the 2021 specs on Samsung website, the audio now has Object Tracking Sensor (OTS) lite....but in 2020 models, It doesn't say whether OTS available or not. Both of these new and previous models have pros and cons, Some reviews say the 2020 models have better sound quality and Contrast than 2021 models. Also I find, the 2020 model's No Wall Gap mount more simple and easier to attach to the wall, because it is in one piece. How do you say about those? I manage to have Samsung 55 inches the Frame TV, but Still confuse to choose either 2020 or 2021 model....and also 2021 model more expensive around $400 than 2020 with 55 inches here....is it worth? One last question, does the 2021 remote control compatible and can be used with 2020 frame TV?
Lots of good questions there. We haven't really done extensive testing on the sound or picture quality to be able to advise on that. However, I can tell you that I've noticed the picture quality does seem to be richer and more vibrant in the 2021 model when compared side-by-side with the 2020. I personally think the 2021 is worth the difference especially given how thin it is. Yes, the install is a tad more effort, but honestly, how many times do you really install a TV? We cover the entire install process in a single 9 min video. It's really not hard. For remotes, yes the 2021 remote can control the 2020 TVs as well. They all function essentially the same even though they look different.
@@DecoTVFrames ha ha..all questions in one chat. Thanks so much for you patient answers. Can't wait for real comparison 2020 model side by side with 2021 model.
@@henrichandrew When filming this video, we did try to capture the image quality difference side-by-side, but it was so subtle that it really couldn't be captured well on video. It's something you would really only notice in person.
@@DecoTVFrames you're absolutely right, Samsung might be done many improvements to the 2021 version, especially got new Qled chip. Lastly, which version we choose, it's just a personal preference. For now, I still like the 2020 version, especially for the thickness will give the frame more noticeable, but for other improvements, 2021 version definitely better. As you said before, to make sure about the screen and picture improvent, I have to see it in person. And i'll do it. Thanks bro for your detail explainations. Hope you always stay healthy there.

In our opinion yes, but not so much for the picture difference. Its very subtle, but when combined with the other differences we describe in our videos, we really think the 2021 is worth the nominal difference in price. It's so flat to the wall that its much more believable as art... especially when you add one of our frames.

I have the 65 inch 2020 version and I love it. Hate, hate the remote feels cheep and cheesy also to slippery and extremely dainty and feminine, hate it. Love the art mode and I do subscribe to the art gallery. Hate the remote.
The 2021 and 2020 versions of the 32" are 100% identical. There was no change to the 32" from the 2020 to 2021 model years. In fact, we think the 32" that they released in 2020 was actually an early test of the new chassis that they had designed for 2021 and they released it a year ahead of schedule.
It’s definitely more lightweight... but at half the thickness unless they made it of a steel plate we can’t imagine any possible way to make it more rigid. Most TVs (or wall art for that matter) we feel are only ever really touched once when initially being installed. So as long as one is careful during initial install, I don’t think it would matter much.
Checkout some of our other videos on the install.... it's really not as bad as you might think. Definitely a head scratcher at first though which is why we immediately published an install video. We'll continue to post more helpful videos for Samsung Frame TV owners.

Isn't the 2021 model supposed the have a new "slim" One Connect ? At least that's what they said in the keynote...
Nope sorry .. the One Connect box is the same as 2020
@@DecoTVFrames Seems like the slim One Connect is only for the premium Neo QLED models 😔 I wrongly assumed it would be for every model with One Connect
Just finished hanging up the 2021. However we are have trouble starting the Tv with the remote. The remote only blinks red and we did charged it for most of the day. I know it’s not a tv issue because we manually turned it on using the tv switch button. Anyone else have experienced with this?
If the light is flashing red on the remote it means your remote has become un-paired from the TV. In our knowledgebase, we have a quick video on how to pair the remote. The video was done with the 2020 model TV and remote, but the process should be the same for 2021. help.framemytv.com/samsung-frame-tv-remote-not-working-flashing-red
Need some suggestions:
Currently between choosing the 2020 75” model for $1,999 vs the 2021 65” model for $1,999.
When it comes to HDMI, does the 2020 has any 2.1? How about the HDMI on the 2021? Thank you! 😀. By the way, great video. 🎉
Yes
If I am buying a The Frame tv, why would I want it thinner?? The 2020 model looks like a more expensive frame around the tv. The 2021 looks like the cheaper frames at Michael's Arts and Crafts stores. Does anyone else think that? Do you guys have the old 2020s to buy?
I'm planning to use The Frame TV as a conventional TV with a 3rd party wall mount that has full motion swinging capabilities so I'm happy the 2021 version is thinner. The 2020 version for my case would look too fat and ugly.
At the end of the day, it's really a matter of personal preference. But also the picture quality on the 2021 model is noticeably better.
Stop by to your website just now, and see your deco frame collections for Samsung the frame TV. Could it be shipped to outside US ?
Nice iron ring
Noticed the "Order of the Engineer" ring eh? 🙂
Yay!! Excited about this TV. A bit pricey though.
Does having two mount locations on the back for the 2021 model allow more tilting options in the wall (not just does tilt like in previous)?
We have not installed the TV yet, but in a future video very soon we will be explaining the install process. Be sure to subscribe for regular updates on features of the TV
Great question!!! We just checked and NO ... it appears the TV no longer offers tilt functionality with this new mount. Very interesting. We'll do a video on this topic in the future. Thanks for asking! Our hunch is that the goal of Samsung The Frame is to have it as flat to the wall as possible to make it truly appear like art and with the new 46% thinner TV, they have less space for the beefier type No Gap mount from the prior year. I guess maybe there's a tradeoff to such thinness.
That's understandable. Thank you so much for your response!
Is 2021 worth the extra price? If picture & sound quality is just same
In our opinion yes, but not so much for the picture difference. Its very subtle, but when combined with the other differences we describe in our videos, we really think the 2021 is worth the nominal difference in price. It's so flat to the wall that its much more believable as art... especially when you add one of our frames.
is QA55LS03T model 2020 or 2021 ??
The "T" means 2020
Frame tv 2020 vs 2021 how is picture quality ? I am thinking to buy 2020 model should I need to wait for 2021 model or buy 2020 model
At first look it's simply stunning!!! We haven't compared it side by side with the 2020, but from what we see so far the picture quality is AMAZING!
@@DecoTVFrames I would be also very interested in that! the first thing however to be able to do a decent comparison and review on the picture quality though in my opinion is turning off all "optimations" that have been set as default these days...
The panel/display in the 2021 is exactly the same as in the 2020, so there is not difference
Any idea if/how 2021's thinness affects the speakers?
Not that we've noticed
Will this work with Vesa mounts?
Yes it appears it will work with VESA mounts. Once we have all of the TV sizes in house to check, we will prepare a help article listing all the VESA patterns in our knowledgeable at help.framemytv.com/deco-tv-frames
@@DecoTVFrames Thanks if you could do 21 and 20 that's be great!
@@hankkim3 Here you go ... both 2020 & 2021 VESA partners are the same I just confirmed help.framemytv.com/samsung-the-frame-vesa-mounting-pattern-2021
@@DecoTVFrames thank you!
the current 65" Frame TV 2020 is on a massive discount like nearly 30-40% cheaper. I love how slim the 2021 one is, is it justified to spend that price when I get it the much cheaper 2020 version. Please help D:
Wow that's a heck of a deal ! Grab it while you can... unless of course the 46% thinner TV and the 6GB of photo storage is important to you.
Спасибо за обзор
Does frame comes with you the tv?
The frame is not included with the Tv. That's the add-on accessory option that we make for Samsung Frame TVs.
Sony x80j or Samsung frame 2021 better?
Sorry but we haven't reviewed that TV

Just bought the 2020 model 😑
Not even sure if you can watch tv on that model
Yes me too just bought 2020 model😑
I have the 65 inch 2020 version and I love it. Hate, hate the remote feels cheep and cheesy also to slippery and extremely dainty and feminine, hate it. Love the art mode and I do subscribe to the art gallery. Hate the remote.
Samsung Frame 2021 In size 32" ?
The 2021 and 2020 versions of the 32" are 100% identical. There was no change to the 32" from the 2020 to 2021 model years. In fact, we think the 32" that they released in 2020 was actually an early test of the new chassis that they had designed for 2021 and they released it a year ahead of schedule.
@@DecoTVFrames thank you! 😇
Ok
No OLED?!
That Frame tv 32, was 2019 not 2020.
Oops... you're correct! I misspoke. The 2020 & 2021 versions of the 32" are identical.
I’m not the only one thinking 2020 may just be better quality? The new one looks flimsy.
It’s definitely more lightweight... but at half the thickness unless they made it of a steel plate we can’t imagine any possible way to make it more rigid. Most TVs (or wall art for that matter) we feel are only ever really touched once when initially being installed. So as long as one is careful during initial install, I don’t think it would matter much.
looks like installers nightmare
Checkout some of our other videos on the install.... it's really not as bad as you might think. Definitely a head scratcher at first though which is why we immediately published an install video. We'll continue to post more helpful videos for Samsung Frame TV owners.

It's bending. What the hell?
Yes, the TV is so thin that it's slightly flexible. You will want to take care when handling it and we suggest 2 people.
So thin :)
Hi!, ey do you know if the frames for 2020 model still work for 2021 model? thanks
Both our Deco Frames and the Samsung Bezels are differently to accommodate the new chassis design of the 2021 TVs. When you order your frame on our site it will ask you to specific between TV model years.
Do you happen to know the measurement from the bottom of the TV to the bottom of the wall brackets when mounted on the 65”? Trying to figure out if the TV will install over our recessed box or whether the box is too big and in the way
