The best thing about covering Dunkelheit is that even if you don't play correctly, it's hard to discern since it's supposed to sound like shit. Cheap fuzz and broken amp is more than enough. With this sound you can't really tell whether the chord is being held correctly
why don't you use "westone" guitar in your covers? i think you had once "westone" guitar that's the guitar varg used in all burzum songs in 90s i think that sounds better to play burzum don't you?
I had that Westone guitar model some years ago and sold it. I didn't like it that much to be honest. It was interesting to play around with the instrument Varg used to record his famous albums with but the guitar was not in good shape and I was looking for something that fits my personal expectations.
