My main genre of choice is metalcore, post hardcore, etc. But, at the end of the day I don't care to listen to much of it because I want to relax. This music is always so beautiful to me. It's something that I listen to on rainy days making them better (I love rainy days to begin with.) It's something I can listen to while taking a walk down my road or my local bike trail while in nature, taking in beautiful scenery on top of wonderful melodies in my ears. It's music I find solace in whenever I am going through tough times in life. It is so inspiring whenever I sit down to draw or work on my book. It's uplifting, refreshing. Sometimes when my mood isn't the greatest, it even goes along with that and keeps me sane. Music is a powerful thing. I read a quote somewhere that resonated with me the moment I read it.
