I laughed so hard! Great video. When my husband and I bought our first house it was a real fix it upper too... One of our bedrooms was painted a color that I called "National Geographic yellow" enamel. Yep. Enamel paint. Not only that - it had about 50 stickers stuck to the walls. We would lay in bed at night and listen to every toilet in the house flush on it's own. As far as your bathroom that has the view of your cul-de-sac... Words escape me... BTW, I went out today and bought door sashes and weather stripping and redid all our doors after watching your other video. Thanks for the tips...
Let me give you some advice... That bubble in the ceiling might mean you have a water leak from up above... Is there a bathroom above that bubble? Been there done that over here unfortunately... Be careful because water can travel... Another funny story - when we pulled out the stove, we found out that the original wallpaper was so hideous... it was a geometric pattern of burnt orange, yellow, and brown. I left it just to remind myself of the good old days... The original carpet in this house was so threadbare in one spot that I could see the burlap backing underneath...
