What do you all think? It was really difficult to rank these actually lol. There are some clear winners imo, but beyond those it's so hard to say because you could always build around the items and really take advantage of their strengths. Also, for those who have been looking at my condensed reference -- I'll be updating that some time in the next few days to reflect all of the info here.
Fremmy echo is gonna be so tough to get the echo unlock for if the bosses are not completely given the choice of instancing, because if not that means there are only 6 kings per world, (3 in pub and 3 in the slayer cave.) That reason alone is giving me a huge hesitation on actually picking it. That, and the region is small so all those people picking fremmy for the apparently free ring and neck slot are going to be possibly burning out trying to secure a kill against everyone else in the first week or potentially more.
For people with English as a second language, DOG spelled backwards is GOD. Cerberus is a 3-headed DOG that drops a combined GODSWORD. It's a very clever way to wrap up all of Asgarnia.
Plz no, but also could be a good idea. Putting an echo that needs you to explore and get equipment from other region before coming back to it is a good idea in my opinion ^^ and skipping everythign to tackle blue zuk would be nice.
Man, the way this guy says rune makes me want to rune my pants. Love the content. Will say, barrows gloves as a drop even without the barrows gear buffs is still quite good.
Well, don't roon your pants. That seems silly! 😝 Barrows glove stats are fine, but if you are going for stat sticks I think Frem beats it out there pretty easily. Basically only picking up the gloves for the interesting barrows armor effects.
I'm surprised we got the full list all as a single teaser! We're spoiled. Lots of exciting stuff + Devil's Element. Haha. A very interesting spread of options and I'm gonna need to see Combat Masteries before making some tough decisions. Can't wait. Too much to say about everything for a single comment really. But a quick note? Things like The Dogsword (and even Nature's Reprisal) absolutely hit it out of the park. They're exciting, powerful without being near BIS, and fun. Exactly what it was pitched as. And at the same time, not heartbroken when I don't go A. Most of them have that appeal, make you consider. Pretty sick.
Ya that's true. They do have some unique twists to them. Doesn't really feel bad to skip any one thing but it does make me want to run a few accounts to try the different stuff out. Will depend a bit on time. I hope they don't do something this big again; it was wild of them to throw this out there. I just spent 6 hours straight off of work to get through this monster lol. More the content creator side of me there, but dang -- I miss the 30 second reveals already. xD
For the K-Salamander it's worth noting that a lot of the things you can't normally melee are just straight up immune to melee anyway. Like, even though you should be able to reach Zulrah with a halberd it's still just immune to melee. Same for Olm's mage hand, you can't melee it regardless of your reach. It's still cool that it lets you melee at a distance but it probably won't change much.
It makes a big difference for a lot of bosses that you have to step away from though. Almost every melee boss has a mechanic where you don't want to be right next to it so it could be interesting. Its definitely more of a meme and I think its one of the weaker rewards though (very low requirments though).
Ya. I think it is more of a fun weapon that helps you out more so mid game on your way to other things. Might also be a fun way to cheese 200m farming for the pet if they keep that xp drop.
Would've been cool if the echo bosses could drop supplies not available in some regions like u said the echo thermy also having a small amount of wraths on its table.
It needs it man. Give Kandarin some flexibility with region picks. You have to pick Kandarin + regions with weakness related bosses to use the item so narrowing that down to 1 region sucks. Fremmy bosses don't have weaknesses so it's not like you can even play around there with it.
I just want to thank you again for putting so much thought and detail into your reveal videos. The graphics and deeper analysis definitely outweigh getting out a fast video with some "first initial thoughts". Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for doing most of the thinking for us man. I'm really loving these daily uploads and for a full time worker like me it would have been hard to do all the research myself. Appreciate you
Oh, I was just answering you on the other vid lol. Fremmy for jewelry if you want to use barrows armor for a long time. Asgarnia if you want the dog sword + some extra bosses to farm out -- plus you'll be switching into torva for extra melee str.
Thanks for answering me on both appreciate it! Think I’m leaning towards asgarnia now like the sound of extra bosses and also better melee gear eventually than just dharoks. Subbed mate love the content so far.
@yewjackosrs hi, so is it known already, if you will need to use full crystal armour set for the bonuses or the blessing itself gives it? Cause if you can change your armour set it would be it's so much stronger :D
I believe it is by piece in the same way as when you use it with the bowfa. I'm expecting you can swap stuff out though most things won't be worth the loss. Helm for black mask could be an interesting one though.
At the beginning I was going to go Asgarnia for bandos -> torva and armadyl. But i'm thinking about going frem for the ring and necklace. U think those 2 outshine full torva and knowing I won't get good other range or melee gear? I will go mory so will have ahrim, karil and inq.. But other than that i'll not be able to get good range and mage gear..
I actually think mory is fine for all around gear -- sure it's not BIS like torva but it'll be good enough. The difference that you pick up in Fremmy should make up for it and more besides defensive stats. Defensive stats aren't normally that important though in leagues.
That's odd. I hadn't noticed. I'd assume they are meant to line up. Could be an error in the graphics/vids they put out around the item and not an actual in game issue.
Haven't done DKs in a while... is there a potential issue getting kills with players being there nonstop? or is there an instance option? seems like the drawback for several of these bosses, including Cerb and KQ. Ty for a great vid! Looking forward to more leagues content from you.
The echo bosses are instanced. I don't think they said whether or not they'd instance the normal bosses, so I could see that being a problem. Hopefully they do instance the ones that aren't already an instance so you can farm for the echo orb. I'd think they will.
Being able to skip the prep stage for Gauntlet is HUGE for me!! I wasn't even considering Tirannwn before and now it's locked in as one of my region picks.
I am curious how difficult the empowered version of hunllef will be. My hope is with the leagues powers it'll be quick to take it down making guantlet significantly faster to farm.
@@YewJackOSRS Obviously we don't know how much production value will go into the echo bosses' mechanics, but I was thinking it would be kinda funny if Echo Hunllef is exactly the same but attacks one tick faster. Would be chaotic
You still need to actually get the echo orb drop in the first place, so we don't know exactly how much CG you'll have to do before you can fight echo hunlleff.
YewJack back at it again! Was Gonna go Zeah, Desert & Wildy and I’m *STILL* gonna go to those regions. I was so happy when I saw what those ones had in store for me. Especially the blowpipe and the Dragonward. I loved being immune to status effects in the last leagues and a blowpipe-fang sounds just absolutely maniacal. 🔥
Ay! All of those are looking like good regions. I do think this league they've done a good job so far of making everything feel like you could pick it (besides Kandarin lol).
I think it'll be really good. It's a bit on the slow side compared to some of the other BIS stuff, so I don't think it competes at the highest level. That said, I'm sure it'll be good enough to be your end game weapon if you wanted it to be. We haven't seen the masteries yet though so that'll certainly determine whether or not it remains strong.
Drygore will be better against higher defense enemies. Loses value against no def enemies or after the T6 range combat mastery. But also not everyone will go Tirannwn, so it gives you access to another blowpipe if you don't love elves lol.
I think W/T is going to be a nutty combo. Should work well with V too, although the damage scaling with prayer makes me think full prayer bonus is probably better for that one.
They actually added a shortcut so you won't have to worry about it anymore. I don't recall the agility requirement but that essentially means you are guaranteed access.
@@YewJackOSRS Thanks for the info! A bit of a bummer but hopefully the coliseum won't be too much of sweat for a first timer with all the nice gear and relics available.
The drygore blowpipe is plain and all but I think its super underrated. a blowpipe with the fang's passive is going to be ranged BiS in just about every piece of content. Using top tier range str gear you can see this on the updated dps calcs.
Especially if we get a boost to chosen combat style attack speed again - 1 tick blowpipe was one of the most OP things in leagues 2 and combining that with the fang passive is nutty.
I could be convinced to move it around. I was thinking it should probably be above barrows gloves at least. It is somewhat more versatile than the gloves if nothing else.
Watching these leagues videos are very helpful, I've never done leagues before and this is my first attempt at it. Is there plans to make a 'preparation' video where you outline how one could potentially plan for leagues? I have my 3 areas in mind and Varlamore is the first pick, but out of the other 2 (fremmenik and kourend) I'm unsure which one to unlock first.
Right now I'm planning on some type of combo vid, first region/relic pics, and maybe an early pathing vid if I can fit that in as well. Of what you've listed I'd probably do V/K/F. You'll blast through the first region within the first few hours of leagues so you can have some fun in Varla's early content and then move over to Kourend to work on hespori for your weapon. Frem last cause point wise it's a little rough -- doesn't vibe well with Varla hunter rumors -- and you're not going to be taking on the echo dks right away anyway. That'd be my suggestion.
On, but you don't lose items on death so it's more of a inconvenience than anything else. Make sure to turn off "drop supplies on death" in your settings so you don't have to worry about picking up your food/pots when you get back out there though.
All in on new Blowpipe. I'm planning Zeah/Desert/Frem. Masori failed a poll in 2017 as Twisted Armor from CoX due to how it scaled with pre nerf Blowpipe. This is, way better than pre nerf Blowpipe.
Also leaning ZDF, the blowpipe feels like it will make early range so op. Frem is gonna be so easy with a range wep that accurate, and looking forward to toa and cox
Really depends on the combat relics tho. Also one thing to keep in mind is that the drygore bp doesn't have the base 20 range str normal bp has. That said fremmy jewellry will supercharge it bc the faster the attack speed the more beneficial the jewellry is
@kaarel545 looking at a DPS calc the blowpipe is on par with full bowfa and crystal wearing just black dhide and God d boots at Toa. No frem jewelry or anything like that. Definitely agree the combat relics/mastery could change everything but drygore gonna slap
Definitely going at least DF for now but want to wait to see other relics. If there's a good healing on hit relic, then V might be a good third option for a third region. Otherwise it's still up in the air.
I think the status immunity on Thousand-Dragon Ward is extremely overhyped and not actually that useful. Its very easy to get supplies and usually banking for resupply is sped up too. So it saves a few inv slots per trip but doesnt really offer the power spike that other items do.
Well it is already better than all the defenders, plus it has the status effect benefit. Not to mention that it can be tough to reset your stats in leagues so just avoiding the effects in the first place could be huge.
Ya, I think it's really this^ -- the massive str bonus on it and offensive stats makes it the best off-hand for single handed melee weapons. I suppose a lot of folks will probably end up with the dogsword or scythe or sunlight spear as a weapon, so maybe it falls off later due to that... but also the wilderness sword being BIS slash makes me think it'll stick around through the whole league.
The status immunity is just a little nice bonus, it’s mainly just your bis str option for shields, with crazy def and no negative stats for range or mage. A little something extra to go with the kopesh I think.
I want Fremmy, wildy, asgarnia, but that leaves no raids. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Maybe I'll skip asg for a raid region. Only 3 picks makes it kind of difficult to narrow down choices. I just dont see how skipping that jewelry is ever viable. I hope there are free private instances for dks.
Echo bosses will have private instances, so no worries there. I do think Asgarnia is probably the easiest one to skip out on for most builds. Torva has become a lot less integral I think. Plus with the wildy you already get a better defender anyway. I'd probably lean Mory based on the other two regions. That'll give you barrows armor to cover other styles plus a raid (being ToB).
I feel like people are sleeping on the Varlamore echo drops. The healing from the gloves paired with the Soulreaper axe is basically infinite health. 1 hit damages you 8hp, then immediately dump that stack to get 16hp back. This just scales and gets better with your stacks. At 5 stacks the spec will heal you for 80hp and you can just eat 1 shark to heal you for the initial 40hp that it drained. As for the spear, it charges using stacks similar to the SRA. It requires 7 stacks to spec which only takes 21 seconds to get which means you’ll be specing every 20 seconds. The stack charging also makes me think that it might have a separate spec bar to the normal spec energy similar to how the SRA works. If the SRA spec, the Spear spec, and the normal spec energy are all classed as 3 separate energies and work independently of each other, then we would essentially have 3 different specs to use, so you can get the burning claws from Misthalin and use that spec every 1m30s on top of the Spear and the SRA. The spear spec also scales off of prayer, and if you’re going Fremmy for the jewellery then you’ll always have at least a +20 prayer bonus, so the spec will be doing a minimum of +60% damage every 20-40 seconds. This is increased to +132% damage if you use the Sunfire armour instead of Blood Moon. If you wanna get sweaty, you could juggle the SRA and the Spear to maintain the SRA boost to allow you to insta heal 80hp at any moment during the fight, or you could just dump it for extra damage and health back as soon as you have it ready, while still being able to get the Spear spec online every 30-40 seconds and burning claw spec every 1m30s. Not to mention that there could also be some insanely strong spec relic that could boost this even further.
I think its just too endgame, by the point you beat echo collo what is there to do in the game? I also think its really strong but unless you're going for dragon + and sweat points this is a case of journey > end.
@@DubstepSon While I agree that it'll be one of the later things you do in leagues, I don't believe that it'll be as far in the endgame as people say. Just look at ToA in leagues last year as an example. They had to add invo level 1000 because of how strong people could get. So I think that with all the crazy buffs and weapons we'll be getting, clearing a normal Colo run and unlocking the echo boss will be achievable earlier than people might think.
It’s not that people are sleeping on it, it’s that the gear is locked behind stuff so hard that you probably don’t need it once you have it. And honestly, it might be too hard for a lot of players to be able to get the gear.
Lol. Kandarin is fine as a support region. Mage build would be going Fremmy and then Mory. Melee you have a lot of options. Mory/Fremmy, Varla/Mory, Tirannwn/Wildy. You could also try a range setup with the ballista from Kand. Probably do Fremmy/Desert.
i think tirranwn is in a really strange position with everything we have seen so far the melee crystal armor is amazing because it does a damage multiplier. like it will totally result in higher dps than torva armor for sure. easily the best pickup for a melee focused setup. i also like the flexibility because of how easy it makes gear switching. like if you are fighting a tormented demon and it puts up protection from melee, you can just switch to a crystal bow and continue to use crystal armor the desert blowpipe kinda indirectly hurts the toxic blowpipe from zulrah because anybody who planned on heavily using it probably also planned on taking the desert since that is the region required for dart crafting. but then if you take desert for dart crafting, you dont really need tirranwn for the blowpipe anymore. zulrahs magic fang was already a pretty niche item since it requires other regions to combo with. so the only thing left to really look forward to on zulrah is the helmet and we also already know the tier 1 gathering relics which give us a supercharged crystal tool. so the chase item from zalcano loses some value out of that all together, tirranwn has always been a bit of a small area, but it feels like it got even smaller with what we know now. id say that corrupted gauntlet makes up like 80% of the area by itself. and theres not alot of other things to look forward to there
You get Zolcano in there too.... that's uh... something. lol I do think Tirannwn gets probably the strongest melee setup in leagues with W/T/F. Idk what you'll use that sword on though cause not the most fun spread of bosses there. I guess the wildy bosses lol. I've never really liked T/D as a combo because of the competition between crystal and masori's. I agree that the echoes make this an even worse combo. If you go desert I think you are avoid Tirannwn entirely every time.
If the combat relics still have increased accuracy and attack speed (and we don't have any reason to assume they don't), the blowpipe should be in A. You would now have an extremely accurate 1 tick blowpipe, with Desert giving you the ability to fletch your own darts. The blowpipe was already insane in Leagues 2 with steel darts. Fletching dragon darts to use it with will be even crazier. DAF or DFA will give you cracked DPS and accuracy to the point where you might even be able to kill all bosses with ranged assuming they don't pray against it. Enhanced masori, pegasians (if clues are nice), the DKS ring and amulet, zaryte vambraces, assembler. You'd be effectively at ranged BIS with those three.
I'm sure it'll melt stuff. GWD is a good shout because I think the defenses on there probably won't withstand the desert blowpipe. The only real problem with 1t bp is you have to move sometimes so you lose out on some of that power. If you can dogsword freeze stuff and then stand somewhere though, that'll work really well.
@YewJackOSRS Would also have to see what the combat relics are this time. If they bring back draining strikes (i think it was called soul stealer last league) for a 3rd time, it turns ranged relic blowpipe build into a heavy draintank. you can genuinely stand still and just heal faster than the enemy can deal damage to you. if that relic does exist again? it might genuinely be worth sacking Asgarnia and taking Varlamore assuming you can do echo Sol. Sunlight Bracers with a 1 tick blowpipe with a chance to heal 10% of whatever damage you dealt, multiplied by 2.
We don't know if it's 1T or 2T yet, combat relics aren't released. There is precedence of range relic being "Halved rounded up" in the early leagues and "Halved rounded down" in the later leagues, it could go either way. The weapon is a 3t base speed. There is an equal chance of it being a 2t weapon, and honestly I think it's actually more likely that it's balanced around being 2t. Not to mention the fact that dragon darts are annoying to upkeep, and ranged just falls off a cliff without stuff like bowfa/zcb specmaster shenanigans. I think drygore BP is like C to B tier at best, as someone who's tried ranged in leagues and had a super mediocre endgame power level.
I'm on the opinion that either you should be able to unlock 4 regions, or start with another region auto unlocked. There are so many "almost" combinations that would've been solved with an additional region unlocked
I understand your viewpoint, but I would argue that having things solved by having 4 regions makes the game mode much less interesting. The gear setups would just end up being like the main game meta and there wouldnt be as much reason to put strategy into picking regions.
Ya, there certainly is some sort of balance to strike. I don't think we absolutely need 4 regions if the echo items and relics and masteries play together well. Part of the fun is seeing what all you can come up with, but I do get wanting to do more stuff. I think a nice compromise someone mentioned early on was to allow you to change your starter region.
Being able to select your own starter region would certainly switch up the dynamics. We've seen in the past that people are able to start up at Zeah, as well as Camelot for some of the onechunk creators out here. Misthalin would certainly need some kind of buff tho in order to compete with the other regions
I'm not sure that's true. Would seem way too powerful to get a blessing that buffs melee accuracy/damage. I'm pretty confident you have to wear pieces of the armor to get the buff, though I do think it'll be individual pieces if you wanted to swap out your mask for say a black mask on slayer tasks.
Ya, true. Since barrows gloves is the item and essentially locks you to the armor, you don't really need M/A as a combo anymore so you can really do whatever.
this isnt confirmed and its just a theory but i think that echo bosses will have a completely seperate droptable from the main bosses albeit similar for example im thinking the echo bosses will have drops that were more in line with the slayer perk drops from last league
The mods already mentioned the drop tables on the echo bosses are the same as the standard version. Would be cool if they throw in some sort of surprised (like maybe an echo pet coloring), but I'm not expecting they will at this point.
I don't think A/T have particularly good synergy now either -- at least for melee. Since you'll be locked into the crystal armor you end up droping torva on the ground. Little bit unfortunate, but I do think that can open up some other choices if you ended up not wanting Asgarnia.
Tiranwin, Wilderness, Fremenik.... Congrats you can now kill Vorkath even faster or what else are you going to do with all the power? Seems like there's nothing to do late game. No raids, etc.
Crystal warrior for smacking peeps in the wild maybe? lol. Not sure. I agree there is no raid. I think it's more of a casual setup to go blowing up random mobs and smaller bosses.
Morytania got such a huge buff with the Grimoire, no Zeah or Desert needed, frees up the other region picks that might be influenced by prayer or spell book unlocks.
I do agree it's nice. Haven't quite done my deep dive on it yet so I have some concerns over runes to cast the spells but I don't think that'll be a big deal for most regions. One thing I'm a bit skeptical on for this one is what it will be up against. I'm not sure it'll be as free of a relic choice as it looks.
@@YewJackOSRSmy gut feeling is this might be against either: - Golden god - Weapon/Arrow/Rune saving mechanic If it’s up against golden god, I think it really raises the value of the wilderness. We will have to wait and see though
Drygore bp in its own right is roughly B tier. However, paired with frem jewellery and masori (which you can get in desert obv) it’s actually very strong.
I really wanted to go Varlamore, Kourend, Desert but I highly doubt I'll be able to beat Sol Heredit if people far more experienced than me are saying they might not be able to. feels like a waste to pick a region if I've got no hope of getting the echo items.
I'm worried it'll be hard, but I'm not experienced at Sol at all so if I'm your reference point then don't use me lol. I've never done the colosseum but I'm still going to try varla. 6/3/0 is plenty of points if I can't make it. :p
@YewJackOSRS yeah ive never done any top end bosses or raids on my main so I'm lacking in experience. Im going to go for it in leagues anyway and use it as an opportunity to learn/practice the harder content. I'm not expecting to do particularly well but should be fun to try.
I like to play multiple characters through the leagues, one for each combat style, and I like to take all the regions/relics in some combination. Right now I'm thinking: Melee: Varlamore, Kourend, Morytania - I have some friends playing this league so hopefully I can run the shield build Ranged: Wilderness, Asgarnia, Tirannwn - If there is a special attack relic/combat mastery I'm taking it on this one Magic: Kandarin, Desert, Fremennik - Excellent on both standard and ancient spell books where needed I might swap Varlamore and Wilderness as a backup melee plan if they get sick of grinding TOB.
W/T alone is actually a pretty decent melee setup cause the sword/shield + crystal armor effect. Asgarnia would give you boots. Have a fury already in the neck slot. I'm actually suspecting this year they'll do more general combat buffs so we may not be as segmented as before.
18:12 damn I didn't even know that 35 x 2 = 75. i guess you never stop learning! oh btw, not leagues related but because I talked about the linguistic origins of the names in varlamore: the names and words in T are generally based on welsh
Don't make me break out my math proof on that one. 2+2=5 and 35+35 = 75. Plz don't double check it. My vid my rules? lol Also, ya -- welsh makes sense now that you say it.
For Kandarin wouldnt you not need wrath runes because the echo book gives you unlimited runes so theres no need to unlock fremenik? Edit: I see the bit now about only being elemental runes. Would it of really been to powerful to have it be all runes, just surprised they decided to limit it.
I could easily see fremmy being one of the most picked regions. 60 accuracy for all styles from the combo, and it offers upgrades or atleast decent pieces of equipment for all 3 styles
the 15% dmg bonus alone off crystal from Tirannwn is pretty huge. It outcompetes Torva in raw dps with the gap widening from more strength bonus from accessories/prayer/pots. Really sucks missing out on the high defense stats although :(
My plans hadn't changed ultimately for area unlocks with the Range relic, I was already planning on doing Desert>Asgarnia>Fremmy, I feel like the echo really solidified my Fremmy pick if anything. I do wish we had a 4th area unlock so I could do either Mory or Varlamore for the fun of it, but it's not a big deal.
Makes sense. I think before on the range route D/A were already pretty locked in from Masori + other style coverage. I wasn't sold on Frem -- figured you could slot varla in there and not lose out on too much (range ring isn't that big of a deal). Now that isn't true though cause Frem gives so many bonuses with 2 slots.
@ I mostly just wanted to do frem for Muspah and have some dumb fun with the bow rather than forcing myself to do CG, which im already doing on the main game currently, so i really need a break from it, the extra 2 bis items from Fremmy are going to be really nice
@@AQWGuide Originally I was thinking Asgarnia to upgrade your Masoris, but I aslo don't think it'll be that big of a deal in the end game. Missing out on some of those tank stats.... I suppose there is something to be said about getting through the raid with arma before you get the raid drops, but if you are relatively competent or patient with learning the raid then that likely won't matter.
@@YewJackOSRS You won't really need range armor with the t6 range combat mastery, you could upgrade masori but since I'm going 6 range/4 melee, it would be nice to find melee armor to just main and only need the range weapon swap. I did switch to Wild/Desert/Asgarnia though, the wildy echoes sound pretty fun.
Last I checked melee always hits 0's on Zulrah. This should absolutely be changed, because being able to crystal halberd spec on Zulrah seems so thematicaly good, using the Tiranwin item on the Tiranwin boss
Mor->Asg->Frem gang early game barrows build + late game torva+ dk echo items…i think this is a good build especially if you are not sure you will play until the late game to get the best items cause you will get good gear at any stage
@@hunterpietramala706 I am considering wildy too...I want asgarnia mainly for godwars for torva, but at the same time we have inquisitor in moritania...and also did godwars every league...hard choice :)) with wildy instead of asgarnia in this region picks we have BIS weap, shield, gloves (not really but close), ring, amulet...might be the move
Early point grind will suck if you go mory first since a lot of tasks are locked behind high level pvm. And you usually want to focus points early on til you have a lot of the multiplier upgrades
Ya. I think with mory you get a lot of flexibility. Little unfortunate that the gloves sort of lock you to barrows gear, but they can also just be good gloves + inquisitors for your str bonus. Asgarnia and Wildy end up competing in a weird way cause the wildy shield is so good (plus the sword really). Almost comes down to if you want the dog spec weapon or not.
These bosses changed my plan in a major way! But not in regions ;) I was going TZV for Ranged before today, but now I'm swapping to Melee! I think while Frem is mostly required for Mage and Range, you can afford to skip with Melee due to the combo of stuff you can get outside of it. Kourend for a ranged melee option for something unique, and a raid, Varlamore for the bracers and a cool boss for endgame melee(easiest league to farm for Sol pet likely due to being able to skip waves for quiver chances due to it being guaranteed from sol), and Tirranwn... and my beloved Crystal Armor. Also gives an upgrade to ranged swap after Nature Reprise, while Reprise at least stays good for that special niche of melee being able to range.
wilderness and tiranwinn is going to be a fun combo for melee, we also get coverage for range with bowfa. i would go frem with it but need a raid region
Oof. Skipping frem is a tough one. Guess it's not as big of a deal for melee. Could pick up mory as your raid and get a blood fury -- that'd do alright.
i think maybe they could've made it that when you wear the morytania gloves you get the full set effect at 3/4 pieces instead of the whole set so you can use the set effects with different weapons.
Someone pointed out this could end up being a combat relic, which would be another cool way to get it in leagues without changing around the echo item.
Almost everything seems so fun to use and im excited to fight all the new bosses. I might need to try and have an account for each combat style this leagues
Kourend, fremenik, tiranwn might be the best tribrid picks. But im not sold on tiranwn and really want to try the beefed up barrows gear so think ill go kourend, fremenik, and morytania
Was not planning on hard committing to colo but I might have to sweat it out on day 1-2. I'm super excited to see what the new mechanics are for sol :D. They shipped fremmy hard with this one, though for me it'll be a double dip into 50m construction cuz varlamore has a masonry shop in addition to keldagrim in fremmy. Pushing out the rings with a better one when you can only make the dt2 rings with fremmy to begin with also feels kinda unfortunate
I do find it unfortunate the overlap between Varla and Fremmy, but at least it's not that big of a deal since you were potentially going to take both for the melee ring anyway (assuming a nice blood moon build or something). I am also excited for a sol fight. Never done colosseum so looking forward to trying that and then maybe struggling on the echo sol if I can manage it lol.
Was thinking on doing Varlamore, Asgarnia, and Morytania. But I am now kind of struggling to justify Morytania. My end goal is colosseum so that won't change, I wanted Morytania for ToB gear and content, but Barrows is so easy to replace with Moons and then they share slot on gloves for Echo bosses. I also am betting 100% on a spec relic and going melee build so Dogsword all the way.
Woof! I think V/A/F will do well for colosseum either way. I'm expecting moons armor to preform pretty well, though we won't know for sure until we see all the relics and combat masteries.
yeah the ring and amulet completely ruined my plan.... They're too big of a buff for everything to not be picked. Still pretty certain on Varlamore and Mory though. I just can't pass up the opportunity to play Varlamore with league relics. I already have fun there in the main game. Mory is also going to be a blast with those ridiculous gloves, which even without using barrows gear are still really strong gloves.
I actually think M/F/V is fine. Sure you don't have great synergy between M/V, but at that point you are just there for the content. Plus, as you pointed out, the gloves are still a good str bonus item if you wanted to do a blood moon build or something. Fremmy bonuses are stacked.
@@YewJackOSRS Well Varlamore also has Vardorvis this time around and I genuinely believe the axe is going to be DUMB fun with relics... but yeah v and m dont synergize very well outside of skilling.
Mod confirmed that barrows gloves double the chance for an effect to happen. So Ahrim's is just 50% to deal 30% more. Not amazing, but barrows is very easy to obtain, and GGs are not that late game.
Tirannwn is extremely strong imo, huge buff for melee and will speedrun a full armour set. Makes a pretty terrible region very strong for melee. Sol echoes are awful for the difficulty, spear looks pretty terrible on calcs and the gloves are useful, but not for someone doing the hardest challenge in the game lol
Ya. I don't think people should really consider the Varla echo stuffs when building out routes. You basically take Varla if you want Varla and leave it at that. Bonus points if you get the gloves. I do also really like Tirannwn now. Wish they had expanded to include mage, but it is still good with two styles.
After watching this I think Kourend is the final region I need, I think having that weapon which covers the whole combat triangle which apparently isn't thaaat hard to get seems great, not to mention that Kourend is a great region by itself I just need to decide the order I'm still wondering if Varla->Kourend->Desert as I would like to explore Varlamore fully before getting into hardcore stuff, but maybe it's better to have Kourend first in order to get a hespori planted ASAP considering the time it takes to grow But generally what I've learned is that we still have a bunch of reveals waiting and nothing is set in stone
I think you'll end up shooting through your first area pretty fast so Z or V first will probably end up being alright. 3rd region can take a bit of time to pick up but in the grand scheme we're only really talking about day 2 or 3 for most people during leagues to open up all the regions. If you play super super little then first week for all regions. Still 7 weeks left after that to do whatever you like.
Was leaning towards wildy/fremmy and then tossing up between kandarin/asgarnia/varlamore for my other choice before this announcement. I've never been good at raiding, or cg, so that made it easy to knock off some of those options if i want good points... but not liking the echo rewards for kandarin, or asgarnia really, and knowing I'll never be able to do the varlamore one is making me reconsider trying Tirannwn and CG again, especially for the synergy of those echo rewards. Weapon and shield slot from wildy echo, ring and ammy from fremmy, and then quiver, and essentially the helm, body, and legs to get the full benefit from the quiver slot for tirannwn... means i'm only missing glove and cape slots.
I think T is actually a solid casual pick, even if the echo might be a bit tough. Leagues buffs will help a lot and at least normal CG will be easy enough to complete there I think. Hard to say on the echo variant but I don't think it'll be anywhere as bad as echo sol. I'd bet most people will be able to complete echo CG.
lookin like a pietyless melee build for me. Asgarnia, Frem, and Desert. Obv combat masteries could change what i want to pick but that feels like a solid all around pick, only struggle i see with my regions is farming.
Ya. Hopefully we'll get a farming relic this year and then it can help fill that gap for you. Asgarnia does have the bagged plant shop though. Very expensive to use those for farming, but you'll end up with a lot of money in leagues so that might get ya through it.
players who look way into Regions, items and bosses before a gamemode comes out, are those who are scared to play the game their own way, and follows the sheepherd of streamers and youtubers
Bit of a dark take. I think most people are actually just enjoying the hype. There are some that want direction, but a lot of people who comment or interact with me are just wanting to be in the leagues stuff because leagues wasn't out yet and they are excited.
there's limits to how much you can ignore mechanics in the high end content even in leagues... if you try to brute force waves ignoring the manticore switching flicks you're gonna get destroyed and Sol, an already exceptionally strong and mechanically demanding boss, will be empowered in the echo variant. If you can already do regular game colli you're laughing but that's a very small part of the player base...
Frem/asgarnia/Mory and then 2nd acc might be zeah/asg/desert or zeah/tir/desert wanna make a broken melee and range build but then again it depends on relics too
Ya, masteries and relics could easily flip some of this stuff around. Bit hard to imagine it changing things up too drastically though. I feel like it'll more cement peoples picks at this point.
Im taking varlamore as well and i think itll be more possible than you think. I got over 100kc at sol in main game hunting for the pet but i havent played since getting it so im starting from scratch. Good luck man.
I'm ignoring all raid regions since I barely even do them in main. Its just going to be a lot of points locked behind content I'm not going to have the time or patients to do. Most likely picking Asgarnia, Varlamore, and a toss up between Fremmy, Wildy, and Tirannwn. The last region is going to depend on the rest of the relics but leaning towards fremmy because its just easy tasks from drops. If I go pure melee on my second account I'm picking Fremmy, Wildy, Tirannwn.
I do think there is enough here where if you wanted to skip any of the raids then you could. Sure, the regions with them are better if you also complete the raid but most offer other benefits. Desert is probably the weakest without the raid but even still you'd end up with KQ bp, which will be really strong. I actually really like the W/T/F build though. Crystal warrior smacking with that wildy sword is going to be fun.
@@YewJackOSRS Fremmy feels almost mandatory for 2 BiS items. Doing MTA and Garden is just brain rot. ToA locks a lot of points up since a lot of big task are in there since I won't be raiding. At most I'll only be able to play for like 4 weeks in 2-4 hour intervals since its during the holidays. Sadge I won't hit dragon this year either.
@@xDBoomer Ya. I didn't love their timing on this one. Starting essentially on thanksgiving sucked for me. I think that is likely more of a content creator problem, since the average player can probably spend time with their family for a meal and then play a bit in their down time. But at the same time, everyone playing this game is like 30 something with a family/job/kids/etc. so holidays are kind of tough for a lot of people.
I'm kinda sad that the echo bosses mean I won't be going to Varlamore. I really wanted to explore all the new stuff there but I am just not good enough of a player to finish the Colosseum even in leagues especially with the end boss boosted. Really looking forward to better people than me thrashing it though haha.
I think devil's element does not even apply to surge spells. So no need to worry about wrath runes. I think you've overvalued frem, especially if dt2 bosses drop complete rings. Plus the items are just stats and not anything new /interesting.
True if they drop completed rings that would weaken Frem. Frem has always been a support region to me, and this just amps up the support compared to other support regions (like kandarin) which is why I rate it so highly. You're right though that it's not an interesting item by itself. Big ole stat stick. Sometimes you want a big ole stat stick though 😝
It's going to be the Wizard tower, but in a slightly larger room
@@ElywinCarrinithshinyhunting All echo bosses will likely be instanced since about half of them are already instanced.
Morytania... bad?
fremmy is must if ranger and mage
for melee you be fine with blood fury and if dt2 rings no need fremmy
then yeah VM without f is solid pick
For people with English as a second language, DOG spelled backwards is GOD. Cerberus is a 3-headed DOG that drops a combined GODSWORD. It's a very clever way to wrap up all of Asgarnia.
This ^
That's epic
@brujo4790 yes it's a very clever joke. or cleaver? lol
I really like your presentation! Your slides really support what you are talking of while being easy to follow as well.
Thanks! Glad you like it. 😄
Can't wait for us to kill zuk just for him to heal up to full and turn purple!
Plz no.
Plz no, but also could be a good idea. Putting an echo that needs you to explore and get equipment from other region before coming back to it is a good idea in my opinion ^^ and skipping everythign to tackle blue zuk would be nice.
Every year I've been waiting for them to do a surprise content expansion mid-league. This would be an awesome candidate for that.
Rip Echo Rabbit - Oct 2024 - Nov 2024
Indeed, that would’ve been so cool ngl
As they did the announcements, I was actually thinking the rabbit would have been awesome.
Many tears were shed for the echo rabbit hopes and dreams
Man, the way this guy says rune makes me want to rune my pants.
Love the content.
Will say, barrows gloves as a drop even without the barrows gear buffs is still quite good.
Well, don't roon your pants. That seems silly! 😝
Barrows glove stats are fine, but if you are going for stat sticks I think Frem beats it out there pretty easily. Basically only picking up the gloves for the interesting barrows armor effects.
Salamander gang rise up

Rocking the teal cutie on my iron! I love salamanders.
Most hype weapon in OSRS history
“Karils xbow is the blowpipe of the swamp” my brother in christ where do you think the blowpipe comes from
The swampletics swamp, not the snake swamp. 😅
Very low requirment?? 91 slayer…
@@tejathecrazyguy007you don’t need 91 slayer to kill hespori
@@tejathecrazyguy007 65 farming is the requirement.
Forget that, it should just supply Wrath in addition to elemental runes considering how niche its effect is
when I initially read about devils element I thought it was infinite wrath runes XD, hope jagex does something with it
@@all_thescience yea. unlimited elemental runes just seems to irrelevant lol
and the weakness of the effect is explained well in the video
I just want to thank you again for putting so much thought and detail into your reveal videos.
The graphics and deeper analysis definitely outweigh getting out a fast video with some "first initial thoughts". Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks! This one was a tough one for sure lol. Can't believe they gave us all the bosses at once.
Thanks for doing most of the thinking for us man. I'm really loving these daily uploads and for a full time worker like me it would have been hard to do all the research myself.
Appreciate you
Glad you like it! As a fellow full time worker, I can confirm it is difficult to do all the research lol
I don’t know how I haven’t watched a video of yours yet. Subscribed:)
Welcome. :D
Gonna go wildy and morytania but stuck on a third is there one you’d recommend? I’m going mainly melee btw but may also use range.
Defensive stats aren't normally that important though in leagues.
do you think its an oversight that natures reprisal has a slash atk style but zero accuracy but has 95 stab accuracy but no stab atk style
That's odd. I hadn't noticed. I'd assume they are meant to line up. Could be an error in the graphics/vids they put out around the item and not an actual in game issue.
@@YewJackOSRS yea def hoping for that
appreciating these daily vids discussing the reveals, keep up the good work :)
I'll do my best boss! ❤️
They could have put every echo boss drop in Tirannwn and I still wouldn't have picked it if it meant I had to do cg again
@@iZaners lol
So we get an orb, which unlocks the echo boss variant for indefinite use? or 1 orb per kill similar to skotizo's totems?
You only need the orb once. Once you get the orb you can challenge that boss at any time, so no other reqs on it.
@@YewJackOSRS oh okay thanks for clarifying
is that 155 ranged bonus on that salamander correct? 4 tick weapon with 155 ranged accuracy is nuts, no?
I think it'll be really good. It's a bit on the slow side compared to some of the other BIS stuff, so I don't think it competes at the highest level. That said, I'm sure it'll be good enough to be your end game weapon if you wanted it to be.
We haven't seen the masteries yet though so that'll certainly determine whether or not it remains strong.
Any reason to get the drygore BP instead of toxic, str bonus is higher in toxic?
Drygore will be better against higher defense enemies. Loses value against no def enemies or after the T6 range combat mastery. But also not everyone will go Tirannwn, so it gives you access to another blowpipe if you don't love elves lol.
I wanna see what olm method is used to melee with the hespori thing for
I bet someone will figure it out. Probably going to look wonky lol.
Maybe im wrong/ not understanding, but why would you go for the blowpipe as a ranger if the final range mastery is 100% accuracy at every mob????
Wonder how the full crystal armor with the crystal blessing will pair with the wildy echo drop and the varlamore echo drop ! Sound a bit insane !
I think W/T is going to be a nutty combo. Should work well with V too, although the damage scaling with prayer makes me think full prayer bonus is probably better for that one.
@@YewJackOSRS I guess people can always go the tryhard way and bring a armor swap for the special attack :p
I’m anxious about getting that rune throwing axe if I pick fremmy. Thoughts on getting it. I remember that’s what screwed me last time
They actually added a shortcut so you won't have to worry about it anymore. I don't recall the agility requirement but that essentially means you are guaranteed access.
Heya! Sorry to bother but where was it confirmed that the echo version of Sol won't drop the normal coliseum loot?
Ya, the mods confirmed you only get the quiver from fighting Echo Sol. Have to go through the waves if you want the other loot.
It is somewhat more versatile than the gloves if nothing else.
don't forget it also solves the ammo burn issue of the blowpipe since you won't be needing to farm scales to shoot it !
@@neilu7132 still have to source the high level darts, which I think will be a pain until we see an ammo saving relic
Yeah but if you are goig range, it becomes irrelevant with the t6 range mastery and reg bo becomes better
I was going to pick WFT, i feel like the melee build from these echoes would shred but then im locked out of raids?
Ya, that is the problem with that setup. It's going to be a really strong melee build with almost nothing to use it on lol. Vorkath/Duke/Corp I guess?
PVP will be ON or OFF durning the league?
On, but you don't lose items on death so it's more of a inconvenience than anything else. Make sure to turn off "drop supplies on death" in your settings so you don't have to worry about picking up your food/pots when you get back out there though.
All in on new Blowpipe. I'm planning Zeah/Desert/Frem. Masori failed a poll in 2017 as Twisted Armor from CoX due to how it scaled with pre nerf Blowpipe. This is, way better than pre nerf Blowpipe.
True. I do know it's good and I'm sure it'll melt stuff -- I wish it had an extra special or something going on though just for fun lol.
This was great, thank you!
❤️
Thank you for all the info!

You still need to wear crystal armor for the crystal blessing to work?
Yep. Per piece bonuses is how I understand it. Same deal as when you use the Bowfa.
Is it confirmed to have same drop table? I would assume it has a slight buff to basically everything?
Mods said the echo bosses have the same drop table, so nothing fancy besides the related echo drop unfortunately.
@ interesting, I’m curious as to what drop rates will be then for weapons.
@YewJackOSRS i just like GWD but you're probably right. I was worried about obtaining the orb mainly regarding the instances.
I thought i was going wild>asgarnia>mort. Turns out I'm going to win leagues this time.
I can't believe future rank 1 is watching my vid. 🤩
ye me too now i cant decide with region to replace fremenik with asgarnia or mory
Soul reaper axe? Lol wasting all your regions for one item?
@@cpri555you can get sra from just 1 dt2 boss
Went in blind and chose kandarin… what’s the best way to make the most of this mistake. Still have two areas left.
Lol. Kandarin is fine as a support region. Mage build would be going Fremmy and then Mory. Melee you have a lot of options. Mory/Fremmy, Varla/Mory, Tirannwn/Wildy. You could also try a range setup with the ballista from Kand. Probably do Fremmy/Desert.
i think tirranwn is in a really strange position with everything we have seen so far
the melee crystal armor is amazing because it does a damage multiplier. like it will totally result in higher dps than torva armor for sure. easily the best pickup for a melee focused setup. i also like the flexibility because of how easy it makes gear switching. like if you are fighting a tormented demon and it puts up protection from melee, you can just switch to a crystal bow and continue to use crystal armor
the desert blowpipe kinda indirectly hurts the toxic blowpipe from zulrah because anybody who planned on heavily using it probably also planned on taking the desert since that is the region required for dart crafting. but then if you take desert for dart crafting, you dont really need tirranwn for the blowpipe anymore. zulrahs magic fang was already a pretty niche item since it requires other regions to combo with. so the only thing left to really look forward to on zulrah is the helmet
and we also already know the tier 1 gathering relics which give us a supercharged crystal tool. so the chase item from zalcano loses some value out of that
all together, tirranwn has always been a bit of a small area, but it feels like it got even smaller with what we know now. id say that corrupted gauntlet makes up like 80% of the area by itself. and theres not alot of other things to look forward to there
You get Zolcano in there too.... that's uh... something. lol
I do think Tirannwn gets probably the strongest melee setup in leagues with W/T/F.
@@ApexGale That's actually a great point, assuming they have all of that together. Would be really cool to see something like this.
They are truly making every region have something worth while. I had no plans on taking wildy and now it’s a necessity for me lol
Wildy ftw
curious about using the salamander thing on melee at grotesque guardians/zuk/kree would be cool if possible
I'd think on at least some it would be. 7 range isn't long but in the middle of your zuk walk I think you could hit him.
exactly what I was thinking
Agree there's so much content now it's really difficult to choose just 3 out of the 9 areas.
Boaty said you dont need the armour for the crystal bonus to apply with crystal blessing, might want to confirm that?
I'm not sure that's true. Would seem way too powerful to get a blessing that buffs melee accuracy/damage. I'm pretty confident you have to wear pieces of the armor to get the buff, though I do think it'll be individual pieces if you wanted to swap out your mask for say a black mask on slayer tasks.
Another thing, Morytania also gives access to Aranea boots which is a super solid option for the barrows build.
I think I'll be sticking to solo content. F/A/T is looking fun for me, but I'll drop A if we don't get a good spec relic
Yeah, I likely won't pick it with my regions but the ability to free up region picks shouldn't be underestimated@@YewJackOSRS
@@YewJackOSRSmy gut feeling is this might be against either:
- Golden god
- Weapon/Arrow/Rune saving mechanic
If it’s up against golden god, I think it really raises the value of the wilderness.
We will have to wait and see though
Drygore bp in its own right is roughly B tier. However, paired with frem jewellery and masori (which you can get in desert obv) it’s actually very strong.
Ya, that's fair. Get the extra range str to help bolster up it's max hit. Accuracy won't be a problem cause the whole fang passive.
Right now I'm thinking:
Melee: Varlamore, Kourend, Morytania - I have some friends playing this league so hopefully I can run the shield build
Ranged: Wilderness, Asgarnia, Tirannwn - If there is a special attack relic/combat mastery I'm taking it on this one
Magic: Kandarin, Desert, Fremennik - Excellent on both standard and ancient spell books where needed
I might swap Varlamore and Wilderness as a backup melee plan if they get sick of grinding TOB.
W/T alone is actually a pretty decent melee setup cause the sword/shield + crystal armor effect. Asgarnia would give you boots. Have a fury already in the neck slot.
I'm actually suspecting this year they'll do more general combat buffs so we may not be as segmented as before.
@@YewJackOSRS I would like that as well. It would help to make the league seem less like Leagues 4 Part 2 and give me more to think about.
My vid my rules? lol
Also, ya -- welsh makes sense now that you say it.
@@YewJackOSRS damn, yea now that you did the math, I have to admit you're right
For Kandarin wouldnt you not need wrath runes because the echo book gives you unlimited runes so theres no need to unlock fremenik?
Edit: I see the bit now about only being elemental runes. Would it of really been to powerful to have it be all runes, just surprised they decided to limit it.
only elemental, not catalytic. kandarin is now KANDAMID
Lol. Kandamid
I wish jagex would make either the morytania or varlamore echo items boots so I could use both echo items at the same time.
Boots of the Damned would go so damn hard.
Ya. A little unfortunate how it worked out with the barrows gloves + the sol gloves. No crazy penta healing guthans.
the best, thanks Yew Jack!
😍
I could easily see fremmy being one of the most picked regions. 60 accuracy for all styles from the combo, and it offers upgrades or atleast decent pieces of equipment for all 3 styles
Agreed. I think fremmy slots in really well for basically any region combo.
the 15% dmg bonus alone off crystal from Tirannwn is pretty huge. It outcompetes Torva in raw dps with the gap widening from more strength bonus from accessories/prayer/pots. Really sucks missing out on the high defense stats although :(
lower strength bonus might have torva on top, but at 99 with piety and super strength pot crystal armor takes the medal
@@mikenelson6939 str bonus from other slots gets a 15% boost though, crystal definitely out damages torva earlier than you think
A little bit, but I do think it's a fun trade off there. I can see some T/W builds going crazy.
I’m also going ranged with Desert and fremmy, but why asgarnia?
They’d have to buff its melee def so nox hally doesn’t just shred it tho.
I could go for some noxious destruction lol
@@trDewy It should shred during the red phase since mage and range are good against the other two
when does leagues start
Nov 27th, 6am CST
valamore is a good region but i'm not happy with the echo being the colosseum boss because i haven't even beaten the colosseum in main game jet
Never a better time to try. I'll be struggling there myself lol
Mor->Asg->Frem gang
early game barrows build + late game torva+ dk echo items…i think this is a good build especially if you are not sure you will play until the late game to get the best items cause you will get good gear at any stage
I want to do this but i also want the Wildy echo weapon fuckk. Probably gonna swap out Asgarnia for Wildy
@@hunterpietramala706 I am considering wildy too...I want asgarnia mainly for godwars for torva, but at the same time we have inquisitor in moritania...and also did godwars every league...hard choice :))
with wildy instead of asgarnia in this region picks we have BIS weap, shield, gloves (not really but close), ring, amulet...might be the move
I also think blood moon has a chance. Still have to wait and see on the relics but I'm hopeful. Uber fast smackem-malottles.
wilderness and tiranwinn is going to be a fun combo for melee, we also get coverage for range with bowfa. i would go frem with it but need a raid region
Or let you use a black mask too. That would have been fun -- but maybe that made the sets too powerful or something.
@@YewJackOSRS yeah have the gloves count as 1/4 for every set so you can switch out 1 of the set pieces for something else
Someone pointed out this could end up being a combat relic, which would be another cool way to get it in leagues without changing around the echo item.
Almost everything seems so fun to use and im excited to fight all the new bosses. I might need to try and have an account for each combat style this leagues
I think there's a high chance I'll be running 2 or 3 accounts this league lol. So many cool things to try out.
Kourend, fremenik, tiranwn might be the best tribrid picks. But im not sold on tiranwn and really want to try the beefed up barrows gear so think ill go kourend, fremenik, and morytania
Mory gives you really good gear coverage, so I think it's a solid pick not just for the gloves but also in general to fill slots.
I just realized that the only def lowering specs come out of kourend and the gwd area, so that kinda makes me wanna take that region more
They are both strong regions in their own right. I do wonder how much the def lowering specs will matter in leagues, but doesn't hurt to have them.
It's not 50% chance to do 60% damage, aracne confirmed its chance not potency. so 50% for 30% damage
Awe man. That's less fun. Still strong but not as crazy then.
Damn, that's my entire plan out of the window
That’s not very good. Rip mage this season
Devil's element would have been so much fun with twinflame staff, but its not out yet...
I think Kandarin item would have been a good drop if we were like 3 years in the future. More weaknesses, more stuff to play around with.
I'm expecting moons armor to preform pretty well, though we won't know for sure until we see all the relics and combat masteries.
with desert unlocked you can go for ven ring because levi drops the completed ring. Making desert by itself that much better
Ya. That was some nice QoL from today's leak.
You're the Doug DeMuro of OSRS. (That's a compliment)
(I'll take your word for it) Thanks! 😍
yeah the ring and amulet completely ruined my plan....
Ya. All of the barrows stuff seems like a pretty quick spike in power. 75 slayer is easily day 1. -- Assuming the boss isn't too hard.
After watching this I think Kourend is the final region I need, I think having that weapon which covers the whole combat triangle which apparently isn't thaaat hard to get seems great, not to mention that Kourend is a great region by itself I just need to decide the order I'm still wondering if Varla->Kourend->Desert as I would like to explore Varlamore fully before getting into hardcore stuff, but maybe it's better to have Kourend first in order to get a hespori planted ASAP considering the time it takes to grow
But generally what I've learned is that we still have a bunch of reveals waiting and nothing is set in stone
Another banger vid
❤️
Strongly considering going kourend+fremmy... Looks like really good allround option, and waiting on combat masteries to decide on the 3rd
Sally gang will be fun. Could do Z/F/T and have essentially BIS armor for all 3 styles.
lookin like a pietyless melee build for me.
Jagex saw all the WTF memes last leagues and said 'hold my beer'.
No kidding. Going to be a super good build now.
Don't forget, we're gonna be absolutely jacked out of our minds with power if we decide to do the Colosseum. It's going to be a joke.
I'm scared they'll balance it around that though to make it an actual challenge.
there's limits to how much you can ignore mechanics in the high end content even in leagues... if you try to brute force waves ignoring the manticore switching flicks you're gonna get destroyed and Sol, an already exceptionally strong and mechanically demanding boss, will be empowered in the echo variant.
If you can already do regular game colli you're laughing but that's a very small part of the player base...
Wasnt planning on going wildy at all but after the echo reveal im definently going wildy/varlamore/desert
Wildy sword/shield are just so hard to pass up on a melee build.
I really hope wrath runes are on echo thermy drop tabe. im coping😢
They said echo bosses have same drop tables as normal so odds aren't looking good.
Sol Heredit as the echo is insane. Like actually what were they smoking because it definitely isn't weed it's illegal in the UK
lol
I'll be in there attempting it. My hope is the leagues bonuses (like the healing on each combat style) will allow you to more easily push through.
