I'm still really torn between the Herb one and Thieving one. I think the Thieving one will be more fun, but I'm not sure I'll be able to take Overgrown over the grimoire to solve herblore.... such a tough call! Which one are you going to pick?
Dude I just gotta say I've only recently found your channel and you're already one of my fav RUclipsrs. You have a fantastic way of presenting things which makes it easy to stay engaged, and you break things down in a really understandable way. Wishing you the best for your continued growth and keeping an eye out for your future vids!
If you take Priff and dodgy deals you can use the shards you get from elves to make and unmake a piece of crystal armour to get you 50m smith/crafting exp in 20-30 minutes.
@@matthewtarkyou can but you loose the shards, so if you get a massive stack of shards you can. I did this in main game for my ironman by getting crystal weapon seeds from LMS and breaking them down into shards.
Me and some friends did the math on this, but all you need to know is 1 shard = 50 craft AND smithing exp, and teleport crystals (you can expect ~8/hr) can be traded in for 150 shards Assuming 16x exp rates, this means thieving elves (assuming you get loot from 3 in yiur radius) comes out to 1m crafting and 1m smithing exp/hr banked
Having the discord info in these is so nice. Imo no-brainer for Thieving relic, especially with a double-master-farmer-in-11x11 zone, Herb relic is unnecessarily over the top, no need for 600 herbs per hour.
Ya, that is one benefit of me being unable to get these out too quickly lol. Get all the FAQ stuff wrapped in for the most part. Herb relic is just a nice way to guarantee the skill I think, if you aren't going to take overgrown or do actual farm runs.
So glad you mentioned the soul wars island chest. Not being able to fail it will be huge. You can also get an Addy Scim from it which isn't too bad if you hit it up early on.
The herblore one just solves so many early and mid game issues with getting lots of p pots and restores. It will eventually fall off but so does the thieving relic
You'll actually have the option to pull the herbs out noted it sounds like, so I think everyone will be able to get that benefit bank note or otherwise!
@@YewJackOSRS yea and if you fill the inventory with the exception of noted versiona id the herbs you want, you might be able to do the option that takes out all herbs but the bad ones get blocked and stay in. couod be a nice 1 click method to get out all thr decent herbs
Thanks! Ya, I do have a few vids still planned around the first couple weeks of the league. One I'm hoping to get out before the start is a sort of build video. Haven't fully decided what that will look like but I figured I'd collect maybe 5-10 builds/paths and talk through those.
I was pretty certain on picking grimoire before this reveal. The forager pretty much locks in grimoire for me now that I don't have to worry about farming much. Really good reveal for me tbh. Also, as I'm going varlamore, after I get the goggles and the prayer regen secondary, the rest can pretty much be used on the big potion packs, so that's a very large part of my early combat potions taken care of.
Keep in mind that the agility one doesn't stop you failing like last year so you're still going to be failing agility the same as everyone else just with a little more xp. Agility is my least favourite skill but still seems like a throw pick to me
@@burntjoint It's a 100% passive 99. Failing obstacle is only relevant if you're actually training the skill which you'll only need to do a small amount of for tasks.
You can also double check npc's in your areas. If they happen to have herbs on their loot table then dodgy may end up helping solve that problem for you anyway.
The mermaid chests give insane agility xp from thieving them also. I was thinking of going forager with the fishing relic because you can afk for 25 minutes and almost fill the sack at the same time. But I think the thieving option allowing you to also sit afk for 25 minutes and level up thieving and agility (which itself is a pain) just makes that option so much better. And also the insane amount of loot on top of that
Keep in mind your first option will likely be better for clues afking karambwans. And its first region if your thieving region is better suited for a 2nd pick.
Something to think about now that stalls don't deplete and can be auto-theived apparently at regular pickpocketing rate, the silver stall gives 205xp while Ardy knights give 84xp. Alright no one is taking Kandarin anyway so here are Menaphite Thugs(137.5xp @lvl65), Gnomes(133xp @lvl75) and TzHaar(103.4xp @lvl90). The only 2 Npc's that beat that are Vyre(306xp @lvl82) and Elf(353xp @lvl85). But wait there's more... The gem stalls at lvl75 give 408xp each!
Oh that's a good point. I only really looked through them loot wise, but you're right that they are generally very high xp for the level because they would normally have to respawn. Could be an even faster 99 +50m + 200m for the pet.
@@joshholmes1372 Trickster was 3000 pickpockets an hour last league, if gem stall thieving is the same rate (it looked like it from the OSRS video) than its actually 19.5M/h at 16x. I did a little (potentially wrong) math and it looks like you can max in about 150 minutes at 8x. Men>Guards>Silver stall>Gem stall.
@@burntjoint Yes youre right it would be ~19.5m, not 13m. However thats assuming youre never stopping and unfortunately the stall loot isnt noted. With bankers note and fast clicks you can still probably get very good rates, but without bankers note you wont get anywhere near 19.5.
I doubt it because I don’t think stalls are going to be very minimal for people taking this relic. The ones that will have the people at them are probably the gem and ore in Tahzaar. This is more for people doing npc’s
I think corner cutter gives you double brim vouchers, which are for rewards, but not tickets, which are for xp. So it only helps with log items/amylese.
The ordering of these relics needs to be revealed tomorrow lol. I feel like I can't plan anything right now. It doesn't even feel like teleports are gonna be T2 or T3 at this point.
Great video chief, and just sharing, but last league, I did WDA and got 50m herb and 50m thieving without relic support... Also without relic support I didn't get to 25m agility. Feels like that sets my path for me. :P This go around, Zeah should have my herblore, farming, and thieving covered. --At least, I hope I won't need relic support in those areas. (no global farming tick boost will prob force my hand to go overgrowth for herbs tho)
Better man than me. I never touched farming and all the stuff I built up didn't git me all the way up so it was a rough time. I'd hope we get faster farming ticks. Otherwise it'll be pretty rough for everyone to train farming I think.
Been watching your channel for about a year now (since last leagues). I find your content way more engaging than other RS content creators. Excited to see how you approach this years league!
Dodgy deals is gonna be insane for easy clues, and still really good for master clues (approx 1 master per hour per NPC pickpocketed) Edit: also worth noting that tzhaars only damage you once per pickpocket if you don't have gloves, so you won't get instantly stacked out
I know after last league I bemoaned my lack of picking Trickster because of how good free thieving was (and how miserable fail chance is on thieving in general) but hot dang that herblore relic looks so good. It will probably depend on what's put up against Overgrown for me, as with V/D/F I already have Ancients and Lunars so the grimoire is a very small boost that I don't think is really worth a relic slot. I REALLY want the herblore relic, and might even get both it AND the farming relic purely because secondaries are just THAT annoying to get on an ironman.
Ya. The secondary part really will save a lot of time -- especially on secondary's that you aren't able to easily gather because of area restrictions or ones that are just general pains to get.
I'm also going vfd and the goggles putting you at 100% secondaries saved means you can get infinite goading and prayer restore potions off of a single secondary bought from mixology. This relic gives full afk slayer.
For Vyres: I found that north of the main bank, there's a lone vyre wandering the streets between a house and the pub. Seems like you could hit anywhere between 3 - 6 Vyres up there, though there might be better spots.
As someone who is picking desert, the thieving one is out for me. You can get 4.4mil xp per hour with pyramid plunder lol I’m probably going to do agility depending on what Overgrown is matched up with. Agility is a long grind even for leagues and I’d rather not worry about it and pump out a ton of laps. You are right though! I saw these 3 drop and I was like “how are they going to tier these relics???” lol as I wrote yesterday, 3 staples down. Slayer, Clue relic and equilibrium are left. maybe possible that finisher combat relic.
thieving relic paired with regions TMV is bonkers. unlimited gp, blood death runes, uncut rubies, unlimited seeds(MF) and most of all the free 50m smithing and crafting once u get a armor seed or can use teleport seed too. having unlimited seeds to plant makes the herblore choice weaker but makes farm relic pairing omega op with mastering mixology. the ability to train so many skills just from thieving supplies compared to just doing herblore or agility makes this choice very clear for my route
DD seems so much fun that I have switched to the farming relic, I can live without piety + ancients from grimoire. I do think you really want either forager or overgrown in your relics! So, DD + OVERGROWN with seeds from master farmers!
xeric chests or wildy rogues den chests to picklock :D. Also they did rectify that the aoe is only a multiplyer to the loot: 10 mob in range = 10x the item you rolled. so not 10 rolls, or 10 virtual pickpocket, just 10x. On a tz, if you pick 1 ruby, you'd get 10 if 10 are in range.(but only hurt once) acts like the rogue outfit set. I'm almost tempted to go Kandarin for thieving clue farming... almost..
@@YewJackOSRS frankly, if there is still thousands of points in clues this time, I will seriously consider it for easy clue farm, specially those elites. To be reconsidered.
I reckon the thieving relic is going to be cracked, there's going to be worlds with like 5+ ardy knights and heros all locked into a single room. Knights and heroes might not be thievable at the same time but getting 3-4 ardy nights or guards locked into a room or splash will be a lot of xp Edit: The rogues in the deep wildy all auto stack if someones thieving the chests, to thatll be like 10 npcs at once
Ya. The fact that it doesn't say a limit to how many npcs you can get that loot multiplier from is going to make for some interesting pickpocket setups. Get your D Spears & Zammy Spears ready.
I really like Overgrown, and with the fact I get Master Farmers in Draynor, I have *no* need to go FF. I think it's super cool, but I agree that one or the other would be the call.
I was all over Friendly Forager when it dropped, but now I have slept on it, I am highly considering ditching grimiore for overgrowth and taking theiving, so I can guarantee an easy path to 99 Farming, Thief, Crafting, and Smithing in my regions (TFM). Not sure if it will get me 99 herb, but I'll have herbs passively from the overgrowth relic, managing miscellania, and slayer.
Thieving rogues in the wilderness. There are soo many at the rogues' castle and they can give you grimy herbs, you wont need friendly forager if you also have bankers note.
I really want the agility one because I hate agility. I'll have to wait and see the full relic list and see what thieving/herblore options I have in my regions as I only know I'm taking Varlamore. Thieving one sounds like a lot of fun but if I can't fully exploit it to give resources to level several skills then it's kinda wasted as I already have Varlamore for semi-afk thieveing xp, would only take the thieving one if it supports other skills and solves several clue scroll tasks. Herblore one is obviously universally good but really depends on the regions i end up on
Thieving will help you with crafting and smithing -- so if you aren't taking the mining relic in T1 then it should help pick up some of that slack. That said, the smithing side of it is a lot weaker (since it is ores) if you don't have something like blast furnace available to you OR a production related relic (if they end up giving us a tier like that).
I am a little torn between agility and theiving. With my current picks and stradegy, Agility, Mining and Smithing are three of the more annoying skills for me to train. Generally speaking I want to do slayer with powerful relics and stuff without having to worry about farm runs. So I am most likely taking Overgrown. - For Agility, don’t have many courses to really choose from, expecially endgame when I am pushing for 99. Really just the Wildy Course. - As I am not taking Power Miner, Mining and Smithing aren’t solved either, in fact I think smithing supplies in particular may be an issue for me. I am leaning towards theiving, because of the stalls: there is an ore stall in Mor Ul Rek that gives basically everything I’d need for smithing. Just afk that for a few hours and I’m golden. Bunch of theiving xp as well as banking 99 smithing with ore. Mining I’ll have to probably just do shooting stars or something. And Agility, well I have the wildy course so I am not like entirely left out to dry. Not ideal, but I can overcome.
Keep in mind you'll be getting a ton of xp lamps from achievement diaries. Because agility is slow I generally throw them all on agility, and after doing lap tasks, agility is solved. Thieving just solves WAY too much stuff to pick agility over it. Clue tasks, smithing, crafting, herb, farming, gp, etc. I'm not even sure if the farming relic/forager are necessary with all the herbs/seeds you will get through thieving, thus, allowing a guilt-free grimoire pick (unless you completely hate farm runs). The gp from thieving also frees you up from needing to pick golden god. Agility is just one skill solved plus some early game gp. Very underwhelming IMO unless you completely detest agility.
I think that makes sense. There is also brimhaven agility available to you if you didn't want to hang out at the wildy course forever. I think that one will be pretty good xp since it was buffed a bit some time ago. Wildy should also end up helping with smithing a bit. If you are able to spend some time at revs, they'll drop some smithing supplies for you as well. That can help fill that slot + thieving for the ores.
Here's my thought process for WVM regions. I'm going melee, and while blood fury is great, one shard will last about an hour with scythe. W bosses drop a ton of herbs and we still have 3 herb patches and we have mastering mixology to extend how far each herb goes. This kind of removes FF, which is great regardless. When comparing thieving and agility, agility is for sure the more aids to train, even with sepulchre available. Cutting corners will for sure save the most time of the three if you're looking to go 50m skills.
there is a spot for varrock guards that is likely stronger than the entrance hall. third floor, I believe south west (might be wrong on the direction) has like 6 or 7 close together in the hallway. I wonder whether the additional pickpockets give cash (like the rogues bonus) or coin pouches. if it's coin pouches it might get annoying lol
I'm surprised. I would have thought it would give decent shards --- though I suppose you didn't have the thieving outfit so that certainly doesn't help.
I think herbs and potions are only a problem early game. Once pvm begins, especially with the leage buffs potions will become SO obtainable. I think the overall early and late game should benefit more from the thieving relic more. Especially after unlocking sins of the father and killing Jad, you have blood shards, great alchables, and unlimited gems from the stalls (which do go up to onyx)
Ya. I think the thieving one is more fun as well; plus, it'll solve your money problems pretty early on. Opens up whatever is competing against GG I think.
As a Trickster user in leagues 4, the Thieving relic here is going to be chill af. 100% taking that one. I like Corner Cutter, but am obviously going another direction. I consider Herblore solved through Herbiboar, so I’ll pass on that one. Once Grey Chins are unlocked, getting to 80 for Herbi is easy, even without Rumours. Might just be me, but I consider Dodgy Deals to be basically a free Rocky pet. Took me a few hours to hit 50 mil last year Even if somebody needs to hit 200 mil for the improved pet rate before they get Rocky, that’s worst case 2 evenings and then just click & wait for your pet.
Going Thieving for sure, not only one of my favorite skills, also incredible value... Agility one is the best pick to go with if you go Kandarin as a one two of awful decision-making.
Thieving wins out imo, and I'm planning on going DZF. Master Farmers will solve your Seeds, and combined with Overgrowth it will be crazy. Bankers Note, will allow you to note Ores and gems from the stalls. Underwater Agility at Fossil island, even without flippers will be good enough exp. So I feel like Thieving helping at least 4 different skills. So if the relic competing Overgrown doesn't solve more skills, I feel thieving is an easy choice.
To hurt the agility relic more and bolster thieving let me point you to underwater agility. This minigame is balanced on theiving checks. Thats right you go underwater and pick a chest giving you currency to buy agility experience. Normally at 99 thieving you would have 16% to successfully open it which for thieving relic goes to 100% (this had been confirmed it will work) giving upwards of 6m agility exp/hr if you have fippers (asgarnia) or 2m/hr without.
The stone chest with the lizardman shamans has a chance to fail and tele you out. But the loot kinda sucks unless you want a green stack of salad robes.
Halfway through the video you forgot that stolen goods e.g. from ore stalls are automatically noted, allowing for full afk (until someone empties the stall)
4 reveals left, so i guess we will get combat relics, relic tier passives, other 1/2 golden god tier relics and final overgrown/grimoire tier relic. sadly i think this means no 8th tier this league haha
Forager is awesome for most potions. One thing I'm still trying to solve is my best source of anti-poison. I don't have wildy tiranwn or mory, so I have very few sources of antidote++. Wonder if they'll ever make it so tiranwn isn't a hard req for anti-venom too. Weird bottleneck
@ varlamore, Zeah, Fremmy. And yea they have super Antis. One thought I had was if friendly forager saves 90% secondaries & the goggles save 10%, is that 100% save? If so, I’d just need one magic root as a secondary for antidote++
really wish there was a practice world for a day or two before the event so people could at least get a decent start memorized who haven't gone off a check list every leagues
Well hopefully we'll get the task list the day before or something so folks (like myself) can put out an early path vid that others can follow if they like.
My guess is that they change things up and give this tier 2 and move teleports to tier 3. Overgrown, Golden God and grimoire tier 4. Last Recall and Bankers note tier 5. Slayer and clue relics tier 6
Forager if you pick the Grimoire and Dodgy if you pick Overgrown. Agility is just there... Not really much to say on it.... Saving on secondaries adds way more value to forager. Everyone saying blood shards and onyx but that's if you pick mory which not everyone will. If you get fremmy your not even really going to use Blood fury since all the combat styles gives Leech or healing of some kind. I like how they made the Drygore blowpipe's passive irrelevant if you spec full range. The toxic BP has +10 more range str but you don't get masori and the ability to smith darts. I don't remember if you can make Amethyst darts without tourist trap since it doesn't require smithing them but if you can then it makes skipping the desert even better.
I’d like to take the herb one for free herblore, but honestly I don’t remember herblore being that difficult to get a decent level. However failing a pickpocket was always annoying xD
WARNING: i made this mistake last leagues with trickster but maybe im just an idiot The smithing/crafting method in tirannwn with the dodgy relic, if you steal a ton of tele seeds from elves, you cant undo the crafting into enhanced teleport seeds. So i broke down all my tele seeds besides 28 thinking i could craft them and revert over and over but you cant. The better method (imo) is to get a lot of armour seeds and use the teleport seeds to break them down and get a ton of shards. Make an inv of armour and revert it and repeat.
This was the last push I needed, I am going to pick kandarin, I might regret it but I don't like raids and I don't like gauntlet, also hate getting attacked in the wildy so that leaves me with fremmenik/asgarnia/kandarin, same thing I did last league and it got me into dragon tier so I might as well try it again
im thinking that there will be more tiers of relics than previous leagues, maybe they planned it that way so they have more space to implement more passives
What I'm thinking about is, since I'm going Varlamore and if I get the prescription goggles does that mean that when I wear them that forager will always save my secondary? That would probably make the difference between me picking forager and me picking dodgy deals.
Edit: Ignore this. v I don't think they've clarified that at the moment. I'd be a bit surprised if it works additively like that. I bet it'll work more like the saving passive + ava's where it's a multiplicative thing. You save 90% of the secondary's and then you save 10% of the remaining 10% sort of deal. Edit: I'm just blind. 😅
@@YewJackOSRS The relic itself states that it works additively, but the goggle wiki isn't specific about additive/multiplicative. I like to think because they used the word 'additively' on the relic page that it'll stack to 100%. Here's hoping.
So for me i need to wait and see what overgrown and gg are up against. If I don’t choose overgrown I’ll take forager if I don’t take gg I’ll take thieving so I might actually go for the boots. Also I feel all the relics we have seen are very early game, it makes me wonder if we are going to have an extra tier or two. maybe we will get our fourth relic around the time we got our third last year?
Maybe. That's why I was thinking maybe we just get some for free at this point. GG seems early. T1 has to be early. These seem early...... Guess we wont really know until the end of the reveals lol.
similar types i don't know what they mean with that but i hope martin the master gardener and the normal master farmer will be pickpocketed together but i don't know how it works with named characters
theiving relic probably is gonna make theiving room in cox infinitely faster. literally open 1 chest and you're done. So anybody looking to WR leagues cox might look at that relic
i kinda need a solve for herb but the thieving one just seems so fun. and also seems like it would be cracked on H.A.M's for the easy clues combine that with the clue compass and you're gonna be doing hundreds if not thousands of easy's
Thieving one helps herb in a few situations. If you take farming relic then thieving relic solves seeds through master farmers so you can auto-plant herbs infinitely. Some thieving targets can give herbs too, such as rogues in wilderness (can get the entire rogues castle in the same area if someone opens the rogues chests so that's like 20 of them for every pickpocket). Just need to see if thieving can solve herb for you, and if it can then you may as well take it
People aren't thinking about the massive exp for constantly looting chests/stalls. Dorg chests, wildy, gem stalls, etc we've never seen what the xp/hr for constantly doing those and many are already BiS exp with world hopping
Im going TFM and I was planning on going Overgrown, but today I realized I might not be able to kill Abyssal Sire without ancients? Do you know if thats the case?
To my knowledge you can, you just have to do like 75 damage or something to disable it. That’s what people were doing in leagues 2. But u may want to double check that
You can kill it without ancients, but you have to deal dmg like eggy is saying. As I recall it adds like ~10 seconds to the kill if you can 1 down the stuff after it sleeps. Another 5-10 if it takes you a 2nd time.
Thieving was the weakest spot of the regions I've locked in and the one slot I'm going back and forth on. so just solving it is easy dub working towards all 99s.
May I ask what program do you use to make these slides & slideshows? I’m trying to make my own league goals/ideals sheets and MS Paint ain’t good enough. I would really appreciate the info, thanks! 🙏🏻
Not sure how pickpocketing more NPC's will make something less AFK unless they're some niche thing that gives untradeable items? They drop noted loot, so you'll never fill up your invent as you also DO NOT need Dodgy Necklaces or Food as you NEVER fail. The thieving one is VERY strong, but i think i'm going the herb one purely to make it so my AFK fish / cook grind also AFK banks herblore. If i get to go GG i get to do Magic, Fish, Cook, Herb (nominal) and banked herb, banked prayer all at once while 25 minute afk'ing, which is nuts for days at work.
Depends on the drops they give and I was thinking coin pouches as well, but they'll probably only give you 1 coin pouch and the rest as raw gp considering that's how they've done it before. You're probably right. Most NPCs will be just as afk as before. Not ham members though -- screw those lol. Ya. I think there can be some really good afk skilling combos between some of these relics.
coin pouches. You cant thieve anymore when you're at the max coin pouch limit which I believe is 26 normally but trippled with the thieving relic. So you get 70 or so thieves in a row and then your character stops, and if youre thieving from say 7 enemies at a time then you get 10 thieves in a row which is 10-20 seconds and stop Also herb one wont bank herbs. It goes to the herb pouch thingy you carry with you, otherwise that part of the relic turns off if you forget to bring it. You need to manually take out herbs everytime it gets full. Not 25 minutes afk time but still a good minute or so. If you want to afk it then you need to take the farming relic, not this one
Wonder if this will be "Tier 0", and we get to pick one of these options right at the beginning logging into leagues (and then tier 1 is 500 points - the tools)
Imo thieving is only good if you need something to afk (agility can also be afk) or if you need something from a stall/chest. Stealing from Tzhaar could be good with ice gloves (F or A) and is definitely good in T and K. It seems kinda bad though if people can just crash you at the stall. Thieving is easily one of fastest skill in the game and early money shouldn't be an issue for most people especially if they have a gem shop or the mining relic. Blood shards aren't that great imo especially if you're going F like everyone else. Agility is good especially if you have lap count tasks but the fact that it doesn't prevent failure during courses seems pretty lackluster. It's definitely the most time saved going for max/50m tho Herb definitely seems like the best especially if you want to do the herb minigame pretty early. A decent amount of bosses/raids shit out herbs and secondaries but secondaries are still hard to come by for most of the game. But you might be getting so many purples you might not get many supplies and it's good for inventory management.
Question thats a little off topic. As someone who very rarely to never goes into the wilderness how does pvp deaths in the wilderness work in leagues? Thanks.
I need to know if your Herb sack is full of bad herbs, will the gather always roll a good herb or will it still sometimes roll a bad herb and that herb just goes into the ether.
there's a thousand different ways, just need to make sure you solve it one way or another. Slayer task select relic (if still exists) -> pick slayer tasks that give seeds/herbs, lots of tasks to pick from. Definitely want to be able to burst/chin/venator bow in a multi combat zone though so if you want to do slayer you need to solve for AoE damage and have access to multicombat areas Thieving relic -> master farmers Kourend -> tithe farm herb boxes, farming contact seed packs Just some random examples. Recommend looking at the wiki page for specific items and it shows you every possible item source in your selected regions for the upcoming league.
Now i'm super stuck. i've picked (Planned) Fremmenik and Asgarnia for Godwars and Cerb And other misc. BUT now im stuck mostly Between Morytania and Tiranwn.. Help ? xD I don't know how to Raid So Kourend Desert and TOB seem like bad choices maybe
golden god is a joke sure easy prayer and such but still rng a bit and money is not really a issue same for prayer if you do bosses that can drop good bones like moons of peril and some other things, and i dont know what they will do with soul wars jet but i can also do pest control because i will go asgarnia anyway
The only reason you'd take overgrown is for herbs, and friendly forager not only does that better, but it saves most of your secondaries AND makes 33% more potions, you'd be insane to take overgrown unless you're going with the thieving relic.
overgrow and friendly forager are in different tiers though. If the alternatives to overgrow are bad then you're naturally going to take it, which means friendly forager loses a lot of it's value and the other 2 are way more impactful overall. You can't directly compare relics from different tiers .. Also I bet many people will go overgrow naturally because it solves farming in every region (even if you don't have many patches) for people who don't want to do farm runs. And in leagues, who actually wants to go do farm runs? It fixes a skill that people want to skip, and if you aren't picking a region that passively gives farming xp (such as kourend which will have a LOT of farming related tasks) then you really don't have a good way to level farming.
Yew Jack, i hate this video.. you put Kandarin on the map for me.. i was planning on doing overgrown, which means i wouldnt need the herb pouch relic, im not bothered about agility so not picking thay relic therefore i was 100% going for theiving... well now if i go thieving i feel the need to take kandarin for clue scrolls, because i am also going the clue teleporter.. NOOOO, i dont want kandarin. In fact, i wasnt even going to go mage at all, was goijg to spec into melee/range, but if i take kandarin, well ill be getting the poopoo magic echo equipment. Im so sad, why did you have to show me the thieving graph?!?! I HATE YOU 😢
Lol. You can get those clues through combat but commooooon! Afk clues of basically every tier from Kandarin?! That's actually legit good -- assuming they give us stackable clues again this year. I'd be real sad if they didn't.
i really like forager, but i absolutely hate thieving, so its a no brainer for me, i dont like pvm, i really hate runescape combat in general so i dont mind taking the farming over the grimor earlier on.
I'm still really torn between the Herb one and Thieving one. I think the Thieving one will be more fun, but I'm not sure I'll be able to take Overgrown over the grimoire to solve herblore.... such a tough call! Which one are you going to pick?
ZMF ranger so really don't need grimoire, so can do overgrown and thieving.

you deserve so many more subs, ive been addicted to these videos and you are entertaining as hell

Jesus
Can you do that over and over?
@@matthewtarkyou can but you loose the shards, so if you get a massive stack of shards you can. I did this in main game for my ironman by getting crystal weapon seeds from LMS and breaking them down into shards.
Me and some friends did the math on this, but all you need to know is 1 shard = 50 craft AND smithing exp, and teleport crystals (you can expect ~8/hr) can be traded in for 150 shards
Assuming 16x exp rates, this means thieving elves (assuming you get loot from 3 in yiur radius) comes out to 1m crafting and 1m smithing exp/hr banked
Oh that's interesting. I didn't even realize LMS gave crystal weapon seeds.
Wow at around 12 min you say runes correctly twice in a row! Btw I've been glued to your and doubleshine's videos. Thanks for all your review
I think it's cause I was talking with someone who said it correctly a few times in the course of our conversation. They ruined my runes! 😭
So glad you mentioned the soul wars island chest. Not being able to fail it will be huge. You can also get an Addy Scim from it which isn't too bad if you hit it up early on.
Last league the chest reset timer was still bad for tricksters, so i dont know how good it will be this time. And it didn't auto thieve either
Ya. I think it'll be a really good starting spot for a lot of people.
@@Beansswtfcan confirm it was slow
Last league, I picked trickster while doing isle of souls chest. Took me over 700 tries to get 1 dark key. I wouldn’t recommend it 😂
@@BeansswtfIt would be nice if the chest benefits from the faster respawn QOL but I doubt it.
I like how you go really in depth, cover edge cases and the nice illustrations :)
The herblore one just solves so many early and mid game issues with getting lots of p pots and restores. It will eventually fall off but so does the thieving relic
Ya. I think as long as you balance out your choices then you'll end up having a good time.
Gotta get snape grass tho
@@tuncqboi taking Frem and Asg so I can pick up spawns if I don’t get seeds
Friendly forager and bankers note, keep the sack full besides the herb you want, once full, remove the herb you want and note it, back to afk
You'll actually have the option to pull the herbs out noted it sounds like, so I think everyone will be able to get that benefit bank note or otherwise!
@YewJackOSRS oh neat, did not catch that part, thanks for the clarification
@@YewJackOSRS yea and if you fill the inventory with the exception of noted versiona id the herbs you want, you might be able to do the option that takes out all herbs but the bad ones get blocked and stay in. couod be a nice 1 click method to get out all thr decent herbs
Awesome awesome content!!
Ya. I think the herb one is even better with varla somehow lol. Like so many benefits there.
@@YewJackOSRS varla can get 100% secondary save which is cracked
@@joshholmes1372 Is that true? I wouldn't think it would be additive like that.
There's still one more reveal for that tier, though, could be slayer related since we haven't seen that yet.
@yewjackosrs it has been confirmed to be additive. So you can save 100% with the goggles
I'll be choosing the Thieving one simply because I hate being stunned for failed pickpockets, and to save my hands from hours of constant clicking.
Fair. I hate the stun and the spam clicking as well. Need some chill lol.
The Agility one is so tempting because F that skill but god the Theiving one just gets you so much
Keep in mind that the agility one doesn't stop you failing like last year so you're still going to be failing agility the same as everyone else just with a little more xp.
Agility is my least favourite skill but still seems like a throw pick to me
Thieving one is looking so strong right now.
you can grief people who steal stalls lol
@@burntjoint It's a 100% passive 99. Failing obstacle is only relevant if you're actually training the skill which you'll only need to do a small amount of for tasks.
@@ianmccurdy1223Also Olaf's Quest is auto-completed in Fremmy... So those going there don't have to worry about that ridiculous check anyway.
I think Forager will give me more value but Dodgy deals sounds more fun.
Another tough decision to make ahhh
You can also double check npc's in your areas. If they happen to have herbs on their loot table then dodgy may end up helping solve that problem for you anyway.
Finally. Been waiting for your video all day.
❤️
tip for dodgy deals, use Line of Sight plugin and set radius to 5 (may have an option to show full square without needing line of sight
Good to know!
Wouldn’t you need to pick Kardarin for diving apparatus and helmet?
At least it would synergize well with the thieving relic. Get all those free clues from high lvl npcs.
@@TheGreatestBabyFace for apparatus and helmet yeah, but it’s not needed
At 16x the lvl 75 gem stall is 13m xp/hr
@@joshholmes1372 Trickster was 3000 pickpockets an hour last league, if gem stall thieving is the same rate (it looked like it from the OSRS video) than its actually 19.5M/h at 16x.
I did a little (potentially wrong) math and it looks like you can max in about 150 minutes at 8x. Men>Guards>Silver stall>Gem stall.
@@burntjoint Yes youre right it would be ~19.5m, not 13m. However thats assuming youre never stopping and unfortunately the stall loot isnt noted. With bankers note and fast clicks you can still probably get very good rates, but without bankers note you wont get anywhere near 19.5.
thieving relic also synergizes great with farm relic via master farmers
Ya. Thieving is op!
Gonna be a lot of bitter stall griefers this year lol. Great video as always dude.
I hope not lol. That would suck. Thx tho! ❤
Don’t forget it also gets you toadflax and snapdragons which are brew and restore herbs. I think that’s going to be my secondary method for herbs
The ordering of these relics needs to be revealed tomorrow lol. I feel like I can't plan anything right now. It doesn't even feel like teleports are gonna be T2 or T3 at this point.
That'd be kinda rough. Imagine waiting until like T4 or T5 for teles. Oof.
I've been loving all the content dude, keep up the great work!
Great video chief, and just sharing, but last league, I did WDA and got 50m herb and 50m thieving without relic support... Also without relic support I didn't get to 25m agility. Feels like that sets my path for me. :P
This go around, Zeah should have my herblore, farming, and thieving covered.
Keep up with the great content!
❤
Been watching your channel for about a year now (since last leagues). I find your content way more engaging than other RS content creators. Excited to see how you approach this years league!
Dodgy deals is gonna be insane for easy clues, and still really good for master clues (approx 1 master per hour per NPC pickpocketed)
Edit: also worth noting that tzhaars only damage you once per pickpocket if you don't have gloves, so you won't get instantly stacked out
seeing the relics laid out like that is making me questing my picks. I didn't think about overgrown being that far back.
I’d argue the prayers from Grimoire are almost more important than lunars and ancients
For Vyres: I found that north of the main bank, there's a lone vyre wandering the streets between a house and the pub. Seems like you could hit anywhere between 3 - 6 Vyres up there, though there might be better spots.
6 vyres sounds like plenty to me lol.
Yea that pub was my first thought too, theres 3 inside it with a closed door. If you get any wandering nearby, even better!
Meet StallStealer, my screw over the thieving relic ironmen ironman
Plz no lol
As someone who is picking desert, the thieving one is out for me. You can get 4.4mil xp per hour with pyramid plunder lol I’m probably going to do agility depending on what Overgrown is matched up with. Agility is a long grind even for leagues and I’d rather not worry about it and pump out a ton of laps.
You are right though! I saw these 3 drop and I was like “how are they going to tier these relics???” lol as I wrote yesterday, 3 staples down. Slayer, Clue relic and equilibrium are left. maybe possible that finisher combat relic.
We're also missing a production prodigy style relic. So many options left. I'm expecting a few more big reveals at this point.
thieving relic paired with regions TMV is bonkers. unlimited gp, blood death runes, uncut rubies, unlimited seeds(MF) and most of all the free 50m smithing and crafting once u get a armor seed or can use teleport seed too. having unlimited seeds to plant makes the herblore choice weaker but makes farm relic pairing omega op with mastering mixology. the ability to train so many skills just from thieving supplies compared to just doing herblore or agility makes this choice very clear for my route
Ya, thieving one is really really strong.
DD seems so much fun that I have switched to the farming relic, I can live without piety + ancients from grimoire. I do think you really want either forager or overgrown in your relics! So, DD + OVERGROWN with seeds from master farmers!
Hopefully we don't get a super tempting 3rd option in that grimoire tier lol. I'll be right there with ya. DD and Overgrown seems like the play atm.
xeric chests or wildy rogues den chests to picklock :D.
I'm almost tempted to go Kandarin for thieving clue farming... almost..
Ya, I suppose I could have clarified that more. Still very strong though! Kandarin actually has a solid use case now. :p
Knights and heroes might not be thievable at the same time but getting 3-4 ardy nights or guards locked into a room or splash will be a lot of xp
Edit: The rogues in the deep wildy all auto stack if someones thieving the chests, to thatll be like 10 npcs at once
Loot not exp*
FF bout to be useless this year lol
I was all over Friendly Forager when it dropped, but now I have slept on it, I am highly considering ditching grimiore for overgrowth and taking theiving, so I can guarantee an easy path to 99 Farming, Thief, Crafting, and Smithing in my regions (TFM). Not sure if it will get me 99 herb, but I'll have herbs passively from the overgrowth relic, managing miscellania, and slayer.
the thieving relic makes items obtained noted, so you dont have to go bankers note.
It says it only applies to pickpocketing so I'm expecting other thieving methods won't be noted.
You're right, my bad!
Thieving rogues in the wilderness. There are soo many at the rogues' castle and they can give you grimy herbs, you wont need friendly forager if you also have bankers note.
Actually huge.
If you mean pickpocketing them, then those herbs will already be noted :D
@@YewJackOSRS it's the chest, they also drops dragonstone.
Stop spreading misinformation, you cannot pickpocket those rogues... and rhe low level rogues have trash pickpocket loot
Do the rouges actually give you grimy herbs when you thieve them, or just on death?
I had trickster with kandarin tirranwn and desert. It was really nice near the start. Elves were decent gp/hr but the shard/hr felt bad.
You sir have convinced me. I was going DAM and hate training agility. Now, you're telling me I don't need the relic and can get DD.
Holy Gem stalls and crafting on the thieving? But the Forager.. Man this one's gonna hurt
Too bad we don't get all 3. 😝
@@YewJackOSRS Not too concerned about Agility but the other 2 combined would be beautiful :')
The stone chest with the lizardman shamans has a chance to fail and tele you out. But the loot kinda sucks unless you want a green stack of salad robes.
Put that thing (Kandarin) back where it came from, or so help me!
Just one more good reveal and I think Kandarin will be creeping up.
If you got plenty of herb patches in your rp then dodgy deals would work nicely with master farmer pickpocketing xD
Halfway through the video you forgot that stolen goods e.g. from ore stalls are automatically noted, allowing for full afk (until someone empties the stall)
Are they? In the teaser the gem stall didn't give noted gems.
Wrong, stalls are not noted, just pickpocket
That one isn't true. Only pickpocketing loot will be auto noted, so we gotta work for our stall goods lol.
4 reveals left, so i guess we will get combat relics, relic tier passives, other 1/2 golden god tier relics and final overgrown/grimoire tier relic. sadly i think this means no 8th tier this league haha
Unless they decide to not reveal tier 8 and let it be seen when the servers pop up.
They could also do a big "all remaining relics" reveal day and then have some other things cooked up.
What regions are you currently thinking? I'd have to check but Varla has potion packs which probably have something in there.
@@YewJackOSRSYES PLEASE EARLY PATH VID LETS GOOOOOO
Yes you can make Amethyst dart tips without The Tourist Trap quest according to the wiki. So, you should be good there if you wanted.
I’d like to take the herb one for free herblore, but honestly I don’t remember herblore being that difficult to get a decent level.
However failing a pickpocket was always annoying xD
Especially on those higher level npcs. Pickpocketing vyres is a pain in the butt without something like this.
WARNING: i made this mistake last leagues with trickster but maybe im just an idiot
The smithing/crafting method in tirannwn with the dodgy relic, if you steal a ton of tele seeds from elves, you cant undo the crafting into enhanced teleport seeds.
Varlamore mixoligy % too save should stack right 2:56 sorry if you mention it after this time stamp.
It apparently does stack! So you can get up to 100% secondary saving.
@@YewJackOSRSwhat I wonder is if you can make 27 pots per inventory with just 1 secondary. Insane exp boost and QoL
Fairly certain it will be production master vs golden god
If you got the herblor one and the goggles from mixology would that make it a 100% chance not to consume a secondary ?
Reads that way. Would be wild if that is how it ends up working in practice.
im thinking that there will be more tiers of relics than previous leagues, maybe they planned it that way so they have more space to implement more passives
MTF 3/6/1 Range with Overgrown + Thieving
Makes sense. Range is going to be so strong that it doesn't even need free prayers lol.
What I'm thinking about is, since I'm going Varlamore and if I get the prescription goggles does that mean that when I wear them that forager will always save my secondary? That would probably make the difference between me picking forager and me picking dodgy deals.
Edit: Ignore this. v
I don't think they've clarified that at the moment.

Guess we wont really know until the end of the reveals lol.

i kinda need a solve for herb but the thieving one just seems so fun. and also seems like it would be cracked on H.A.M's for the easy clues combine that with the clue compass and you're gonna be doing hundreds if not thousands of easy's
Just need to see if thieving can solve herb for you, and if it can then you may as well take it
Ya, I like the idea of getting all the rogues together and just getting massive amounts of random stuff every single pickpocket.
Just thinking about 25 minute pure ess mining and filling an herb sack and dumping and repeat with the mining relic
Pure ess mine is going to be THE place to afk this year with the mining relic and all the other stuff.
im not looking foward to do all those unf potions with the quantity of herbs that we will get
Hopefully we still get a production relic. If not, you might be going desert for the npc that makes them for you lol.
People aren't thinking about the massive exp for constantly looting chests/stalls. Dorg chests, wildy, gem stalls, etc we've never seen what the xp/hr for constantly doing those and many are already BiS exp with world hopping
pitpocketing relic, makes ur inventory really full, hams have 40 items, so it will be more annoying than people realize.
Oh I'm sure it'll be terrible there lol. Great most other places.
And I think it's the most fun one of the bunch too!
@@YewJackOSRS and even if you're only getting the easy clues without kandy off it. that's still 131 collection log slots.
So you get 70 or so thieves in a row and then your character stops, and if youre thieving from say 7 enemies at a time then you get 10 thieves in a row which is 10-20 seconds and stop
Also herb one wont bank herbs. It goes to the herb pouch thingy you carry with you, otherwise that part of the relic turns off if you forget to bring it. You need to manually take out herbs everytime it gets full. Not 25 minutes afk time but still a good minute or so. If you want to afk it then you need to take the farming relic, not this one
lumberjack stan
It's definitely the most time saved going for max/50m tho
Herb definitely seems like the best especially if you want to do the herb minigame pretty early.
Thanks.
You'll keep all your stuff during leagues, so the worst part is just having to get back out there. Safe deaths all around.
your stuff drops to a gravestone just like a pvm death
I've heard your loot spawns on the ground with you in Lumby but have not confirmed
@@Drollls gravestone, not on the ground fella.
@@Drolllsyou can just go to death and get your stuff back free
First, nice video (before i even watched)
Impressive psychic abilities!
So.... They said herb relic stacks additively with other stuff (goggles). So... Does that mean i only need 1 secondary to make infinate potions?
I need to know if your Herb sack is full of bad herbs, will the gather always roll a good herb or will it still sometimes roll a bad herb and that herb just goes into the ether.
Kinda ridiculous that secondaries arent ALL from farming
How are you guys getting so many seeds? I struggled hard core last leauge having enough p pots
there's a thousand different ways, just need to make sure you solve it one way or another.
Slayer task select relic (if still exists) -> pick slayer tasks that give seeds/herbs, lots of tasks to pick from. Definitely want to be able to burst/chin/venator bow in a multi combat zone though so if you want to do slayer you need to solve for AoE damage and have access to multicombat areas
Thieving relic -> master farmers
Kourend -> tithe farm herb boxes, farming contact seed packs
Just some random examples. Recommend looking at the wiki page for specific items and it shows you every possible item source in your selected regions for the upcoming league.
With the thieving one I'd say master farmers probably. Outside of that it is basically just from slayer.
me its theiving it lets me ignore smithing and crafting so i can go animal wrangler and do the more annoying grind hunting
one more thing im going frem so i will have access to ice gloves so i can afk tarz
Not to rain in your parade, but pretty sure you can spam blast furnace eith ore you buy in F. Plus you can buy crafting with gems from tzar gem stalls
Yes, though does depend on your cash stack and what relics you are working with.
HAM! SO MUCH HAM
A KANDARIN W??? MOM GET THE CAMERA
WHO'S THIS GUY
@kaozbender Kaoz the mariokart guide maker??? No way! Big fan man!
@@lob-119 tyvm man!!
Ikr. Rare occasion this year lol.
With ice gloves it’s a 6hr afk
I think the 20 minute timer will get ya, but a little wiggle of the camera or something isn't a big deal.
golden god is a joke sure easy prayer and such but still rng a bit and money is not really a issue same for prayer if you do bosses that can drop good bones like moons of peril and some other things, and i dont know what they will do with soul wars jet but i can also do pest control because i will go asgarnia anyway
Ya. I think GG is looking a bit more dead now unless they pull something funky with the relic tiers.
@@YewJackOSRS yeah we will see what its up against but i bet everything is better
The only reason you'd take overgrown is for herbs, and friendly forager not only does that better, but it saves most of your secondaries AND makes 33% more potions, you'd be insane to take overgrown unless you're going with the thieving relic.
Z/A/F ranger, so i have no need for grimoire which forces me into overgrown unless the 3rd relic is a lot better
Don’t need pots when you have TR
overgrow and friendly forager are in different tiers though.
@@ZacNucMed for instanced content you do like colosseum, zuk, any of the challenge mode raids or high invoc CoA
Woah now. Overgrown handles farming for me too. I hate farming! lol
