I was told I had to have a c section last minute dilated at an 8 I cried out of fear of just being “cut” but I kid you not I didn’t feel a thing they give you enough to be numb and it doesn’t take long at all and once I heard my baby cry nothing else mattered to me whoever needs to hear it don’t worry you and your baby will be fine and recovery is very easy just stay strong and take your time walking
I just had a c section 3 days ago. I was in labor for about 30 hours having constant contractions and I was only 2 cm dilated. Baby wasn’t in distress, but it just wasn’t working. Turns out baby was tangled in the cord and wasn’t able to descend properly. Im really glad that we got a c section and baby is safe. ❤️❤️
I'm going to have a C-section in a couple of weeks. Just want to let you know this video is the most informative one talking about C-section on RUclips. This is my first child and I am highly anxious, yet you really helped me relax by sharing everything in detail. I know it's been 2 years since you posted this, but I hope you're still reading these comments. I really thank you!!!
I also had a c section done for my daughter a month ago. At first I was so anxious but the doctors were very friendly and supportive. Thumbs up to all the mothers who have gone through this process
I’m having a C-section done in 3 days and I am so anxious. Up and until a week ago I was mentally preparing for natural birth, my heart is beating out of my chest just thinking about it 😢
That is me right now im really scared ive never had any surgeries before and being awake for it im freaking out. Baby is breech they want me to plan the c section within the next two weeks…
Update: I had my c section and my babygirl was out in 5 minutes I didn’t even know they started cutting me open already and it was over than I was nursing her while they stitched me up and I would say the worst pain part was the epidural just thinking about those needles in my back make me cringe but alittle bit of pain to meet my baby daughter was so worth it and now 2 months have gone by already and I feel blessed! 🙏🏼❤️❤️
That feeling is amazing I don't care about the wound the feel I had after hearing my baby crying I cried too I was like oh that's my baby thank you God
I had a c section with my first- it was awful- but I’m convinced a big part of that was because I had incredibly unrealistic expectations of what it was going to be like/feel like. I’ll have my 2nd c section baby in July and I’m so much better prepared. Videos like these are so important!
@@Sasha-zl1xr Really, the only reason my experience was so bad was because I had seen these videos and read these comments from women, saying that their C-sections were so much easier than giving birth vaginally. That might be true for a minority, but it’s not true for the majority- so you have to go in it with the expectation to experience what the majority of women experience. If for some reason, it’s an easy breezy thing for you, Amazing! But at least you’re mentally prepared and your expectations will be reasonable. ❤️ after all, it is major surgery, and it is a significant abdominal incision. When you have realistic expectations (might not be able to get the baby out of the bassinet- stand up and get the baby, change a diaper, etc) in my opinion, it’s very manageable. You might need a little bit more help than someone who gave birth vaginally when you get home from the hospital for the first few days. You’ve had major surgery. Abdominal incisions means that it’s really tough to sit up and stand up so bending over and reaching into a bassinet, etc. those things might be tough for you. My first C-section, I did none of that, my second one by my last day, I could get the baby out of the bassinet. Everyone heals on their own time. Just remember after about a week, you’re going to feel so much better ❤️❤️❤️❤️ One reason we love the halo bassinet is that you could have it right next to you and the bar goes down- great for C-section mamas!!
@@abby7038 Thank you so much for your thoughtful response and I have heard/read that the recovery process of a C Section is more timely, challenging and at times uncomfortable. I understand there may be more risks involved post C Section, but honestly I don't think I can bring myself to go through a vaginal birth, I strongly feel that a C section would suit me best, but as you said, every woman is different. Congratulations on your birth and I hope you continue to have a lovely life with your family ❤️ and you are amazing for going through the process and being a wonderful mother. I don't feel like mother's get enough credit for what they go through at times and it's always interesting to hear other women's experiences.
After having my first baby a month ago..... I seriously wish everybody the best... everybody's is different but gosh it was rough. You got this ladies!
I cringed my way through this video, but I feel like I’d rather be prepared than not. Surgery freaks me out. Stitches freak me out. I’m due in December with my first and I hope so much I can give birth vaginally. You C-section moms are so tough! So much respect for you 💪🏻
This is so insane to say. Look at the vaginal births they are a horror film. C section takes minutes and any pain that’s no where near like pushing out a baby subsides within hours plus ur monitored. No one screams lost c section the way they do at vaginal birth.
I have ptsd and am almost 38 weeks pregnant and I have had two vaginal deliveries. My last vaginal delivery was so traumatic (16 years ago) that I became paranoid and kept having flashbacks of my last birth and super high anxiety as my due date gets closer. My anxiety has been so high that my doctor suggested a c-section. So, now I feel better and am doing what I can to prepare for the pain afterwards.... So thank you for the video
I have to get a c section because I am expecting triplets. This put me so at ease, and made me feel more comfortable going into this as a first time mom.
Congratulations!!! I pray in Jesus name for a healthy delivery/C section for you. May God give you all the guidance and tools you need to be a Super Mom of 3. What a Blessing! CONGRATS!
@@amielabuckley6164 honestly glad I had the c section in the end! I had hoped to push But the whole process was truly a breeze! I waited longer for the OR then giving birth lol I had a spinal (3 needles in your back for numbing) That was truly the only painful part of it all! And recovery of course But once the numbing stuff kicks in You feel nothing for hours after too I didn't gain feeling in my legs till about 3 hours after birth The recovery process isn't the worst either Very sore for about a week after But I was walking again the same day I gave birth My heart was Fina as well We decided to give birth at HOP Which has CHOP across the street just incase the baby was born with the same condition as me Thank God she wasn't and so far everything is good with her heart But I still worry they didn't find my heaty condition till I was 4yrs old Most children with my condition don't make it after 6months without surgery
I'm due for a c section in nov this year with my baby 😊 and feeling jittery, came to youtube to find mothers who shared about their experiences. Yours was so helpful and reassuring by far, thank you for taking the time to put this out here on the internet
currently 33wks pregnant with a baby boy at 18, always told myself i’d do a c section and now i’m getting closer and closer to having my little man this calmed me down so so so much, the best educational and informative video i’ve seen yet THANK YOU
I had an emergency c-section as well but my experience was bad cause I needed another surgery 10 days after I gave birth due to internal bleeding. It has been so hard emotionally. The birth was similar to your experience, but the 2nd surgery was nothing like it. I had the catheter over 4 days in plus 3 additional tubes coming out of my lady part, which made me look like a failed experiment. Even though they made me walk the morning after they didn't take that tube out and it drove me crazy when going to the toilet as I needed to pee but couldn't. My scar is simply ugly 19 months later and that made me have another breakdown after seeing my friend's. Hers is almost fully healed 9 months after. It's great to share our experience but please know that every experience is unique and don't expect things to go in the same way. Also the pains I had felt so intense and I would often complain, yet my friend hadn't done so, not even once. She said hers were manageable.
i’ll be going in on feb 15th to have my 2nd c section. 6 years after my first. i am sooooo nervous as my first one was so hard on me. but watching these videos helps to calm my nerves. and i get my meet my first daughter which is always very comforting! i can’t wait to finally see her🥰💖
When you called the scar your kids birthmark, that made me tear up, that's so beautiful! ❤️😭 Having my second elective c-section(the first one was not an elective one, but not emergent either, can't remember the third term they use 😅) on Thursday and a bit nervous if I'm honest. I know I'm in good hands but I'll be staying by myself with the baby after the surgery, as my husband is taking care of our eldest at home and am a little scared of the pain and having to carry the baby by myself this time around. This video was a good reminder of what's gonna happen so I'm happy I watched it. 😊
I was induced at 36 weeks + 5 due to high blood pressure and preeclampsia. This was my first baby. I had a failed induction after I labored for 56 hours and was only dilated to a 3!!! 😮 the pain I went through before they finally told me I was going back for a c-section. 45 minutes later she was here. Recovery has been great as I am now 4 weeks PP.
I'm so glad I came across this video. I'm about to have my second c-section and had no idea if have to be away from my boyfriend for the spinal tap. I have sever anxiety and was shaking with my first emergency C-section. I'm glad I can mentally prepare for that and stay calm in those moments he's away from me
@@nicoledang27 I had an emergency c section for my first 10 years ago, a vbac (which was intense recovery from a tear and horrible constipation) and then this c section spinal 2 weeks ago. It took a good 6 days of recovery to start feeling better. It sure was intense! Plus I’m older. I hope you are feeling better!
Thank you this video was hopeful. I had an emergency C-section and unfortunately my husband couldn’t be there because they had to put me to sleep because our baby girl heartbeat was dropping so they had to move fast. After she was born and I woke up to her and we did skin to skin. I wasn’t planning on C-section but this video helps. I got a lot of pain but I’m managing and walk as much I can.
Great video, as a soon to be dad I am pretty scared/anxious for my wife to go through a cesarean, and while I still am super nervous after watching your video, I’m glad to have this kind of info so I can share it with her and know how I can help her.
This was super informative and detailed! Thank you so much! When I first found out my baby was breeched and I would have to have a c section, I cried my eyes out thinking it was the worst thing possible. But after doing some reading and watch other moms go through it, it has made me realize that yes it will be hard but I can do this! So thank you for this! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I can now say I am physically and mentally prepared for my scheduled c section!😊
The same happened to me, I cried and cried and begged and pleaded with my doctor but obviously you can’t bargain your way out of an emergency C lol. I hope your second one was smooth and joyful, congrats! 🎉
I also had an emergency C-section and was so disappointed and stressful because I wanted a natural birth do bad and was preparing and doing everything I could to induce labour. So I found it harder to tolerate the pain after the the surgery
This was recommended to be before my due date back in Jan and I thought surely I wouldn’t need to watch this. Had to get an emergency C-section Jan 24th and I so wish I watched this before hand.
You can't imagine how greatful I am for this video! I am going to have a C-section and I was terrified until watching your video! You put my mind as peace and I feel more confident than ever before! You come across people or Doctor's talking so negatively about c-section that you get intimidated and anxious. Even though my mom and sister both had c-sections, and both had a good experience, I needed another opinion. Thank you for your honest, realistic and positive feedback ❤
I just had a c-section during the birth of my twins. Super painful about 48 hours after the surgery. I did not take enough pain medication. But if you don’t, You will feel a burning sensation and pulling.
I had a emergency c section as well and I also wish I had watched at least a few videos on what to expect. It would have helped me be much calmer during the process.
Thank you so much great video lots of information. I have my C section schedule for the 23rd and last baby was 13 years ago. Trying to reassure my self on the process and help with the nerves ❤
My water broke at 39 weeks a day before my C section appointment. It was so scary but God is great. I had only anesthesia bcuz it was an emergency c section. My first C section and I Salute all mothers that go through this 🙌🏼
Thank you for sharing, its like a walk down memory lane for me. Everything's so similar and I could literally feel myself going thru the entire process again. I've had 2 (emergency, elective) and another elective coming July. A little nervous but your video was so helpful to calm me down a bit.
I'm going to need a c-section when baby's due in Jan 2025 due to her having Spina Bifida Myelomeningecele (MMC) and I"m still a bit anxious about recovery, not the procedure itself. this vid helps. thanks!
Thank you so much for describing the difference between an epidural and spinal. I had an epidural with my first emergency C-section and having a spinal with my 2nd. I felt a *ton* of pressure with my epidural and i remember it being quite uncomfortable.
I’m having my second cesarean in one week exactly… 🤞🏼 first was emergency, this one is planned. But my first one was chaotic and almost 10 years ago, so I forgot almost everything and I’m very nervous about this one. Thanks for a great video ❤
Ill have my C-section next week because I tried ECV procedure since i have a breech baby but unfortunately didnt work. Hope everything goes well. Im excited and scary at the same time.
Same thing happened to me. My baby has been breeched since 29 weeks. I’m now 39 weeks and she’s still. We tried and ECV and it didn’t work. So, I’m now scheduled for a c-section tomorrow morning.
My baby is now 2mos and 3 weeks now. I ended C-sec. I much like it than vaginal coz Ive been traumatized on my 1st one that i labor for 38hrs in high scale of pain. Unlike c sec after 30mins baby is out.
My first c section was horrible and traumatic I still felt thesharp knife it felt like a very deep paper cut all the way through I was screaming through it i told them I still felt it and the doctor just told me "if you felt it you would be screaming" like as if I wasn't already screaming.... hope this second c section will be better as I'm doing through a different hospital.
Thank you for making this video. Tomorrow is my scheduled c-section. Since im high risk t1d, I've been the whole pregnancy filled with fear about the consequences and dangers by the Dr and gynos. Some as scary as "you can die on the table!" And Ive done everything to avoid the dangers. Unfortunately, the little one is happy being breeched and refused to flip so Im stuck doing c-section. These last days have been emotional roller coaster fearing the worst but hoping for the best. Your video truly helped ease the tension i had and i thank you for that.
@evm13626 I was so stressed out the night prior, my sugars and BP were everywhere and had diarrhea 😂. The day of, I let them know and the team was super kind and joked with me and they let me know everything they were doing which was very helpful. I got in, they gave my my robe and had me changed. They took me and the husband to the recovery room. Checked my vitals and inserted the iv, put these boots on my legs which they will later pulse to keep blood flow . Hubby was given the scrubs but had him wait til they were ready. We arrived at 8am. Surgery wasn't til 10am. A nurse came in and did a final ultrasound tonmake sure baby was still breech (he was) At 9:30am the anaesthesiologist came in and explained everything we signed some final paperwork and they brought the wheelchair. Hubby was told to scrub up and wait outside. I was wheeled into the operating room (super cold and super intimidating) they had me sit on the table. Gyno came in and played music. A nurse stood in front of me and explained to bend over like a cat over a pillow while she helps me and I would feel a pinch but try not to move. The anaesthesiologist then rubbed something and I was expecting a bee sting but honestly, maybe my pain levels were high, it just tickled and then a second later, I felt a warmth from my stomach go down my legs. They then helped me on the table and strapped my arms. I heard from another video suggest to tap your fingers so you concentrate on that instead of your legs so I desperately tapped my fingers (but honestly I was more scared than anything it's not bad) you can't feel your legs at this point and you can't feel your toes move. Gyno and the team started rubbing this orange stuff and marking the location while the anaesthesiologist explained what he was connecting to my iv. There was two interns in my room which I joked around with cause they seemed more nervous than me. They finally put the curtain up. And Let me tell you, I was balling tears at this point, excited and nervous. I had mucus in my nose while the nurse by me cooed me that everything would be OK and put the hose on my nose for oxygen (they don't insert it, its just , on the surface) omg, the oxygen and my snot made bubbles and tickled my nose and I thought both my hands were strapped down. Found out quick on hand wasn't strapped and I thought someone messed up so when the two dr turned around I quickly scratches dmy nose and hid my hand. They brought the hubby in and then the nurse told me he left one arm loose just in case I needed to scratch so I felt like an idiot. 😅 anyways not even 5 mins the gyno was telling the hubby to take out the phone to take photos and videos. That's when we heard our baby and hubby nervously took photos. I was high risk t1d so they had to check the baby's vitals make sure his sugar didn't drop so they couldn't bring him to me asap but they had the hubby go to him. BTW you don't feel anything except what feels like someone moving your belly around and some slight pressure but no pain. Once the baby was ready they brought him to me. I was with him for a bit and then they had hubby and the baby go to the recovery room. I was in the room another 15 mins and they finished closing me. They brought another bed and pulled me onto it. By this time the tap was slowly going g away, still didn't feel anything but I felt my toes move (felt asleep) we were in the room for 2 hours had nurses checking on me 30 mins make sure I can move my legs. I was allowed 1 visitor at a time or I could've slept. I was so nervous I couldn't sleep so my close family one by one came to see see me.(baby was with nurse regulating his dropped sugar) once the 2hrs was good and I had a room, they rolled me to my room and baby was brought in if say 10 mins later. HIGHLY RECCOMEND TO BREASTFEED ONCE THE BABY ARRIVES NO MATTER IF THEY SUFFER SUGAR DROPS. IF YOU CANT LATCH, ASK FOR A PUMP IF YOU DIDNT BRING ONE!!! anyways, you can't eat anything for 24hrs so they give you juices and water. Make sure to raise your legs to get all that excess liquid out of your legs or you'll ve super swollen like me. BTW you have a catheder so once the pitocin is gone, that's when they remove it. Feels weird being removed. They change you to the hospital undies with the big pad ifyo didnt bring your own. (Go a size bigger if you do buy depends) After 6hrs a nurse comes in and helps you up. They give you this breathalyzer to test your lungs and they help you up. You slowly walk, (please be careful you will feel drunk and drowzy) everything else is just recovery which i think is worse thsn the surgery itself. You might feel strong to do it yourself, dont. Ask for help, this is your time to recover. 1st night you wont sleep at all. Between checking baby's breathing, feeding baby every 2 hours and just sore, you wont sleep. try to get rest the second day. BTW, gyno will come in and will remove the gauze over the incision. ASK THEN TO BE NICE CAUSE MINES RIPPED THE GAUZE AND I LEFT BRUISES ON THE POOR NURSES ARM FROM THE PAIN AND JUST NOT EXPECTING IT) other than that, its not that bad.
@@mixunamii Thanks so much for all the details from your surgery! I'm so happy it went so well for you. ❤ Your comment might've made me feel better than the multiple videos I've watched. 😅 You're the best!
If I had the chance to change everything it would to never be having a c section, everyone is different but the experience was horrible and I’m so glad VBAC is available for women
I'm going to get flack for this but I'm having a scheduled C-Section because it's my choice and I don't want vaginal tearing or the drama that comes with labour etc etc. Going to just go in nice and relaxed and get the baby out through the sunroof.
No hate at all, i am also having a scheduled c-section for the same reasons as you. I know how hard it is to take this decision and how people would raise their brow when you tell them about your decision. It will be fine. My baby is due end of October 🥰
@@peccaret thank you for being so kind. I must admit after I heard of a woman who tore so badly she now wears an ostomy bag the decision was super easy after that😅 I don't know why there is such a huge stigma about it. Birth is birth. That child is still coming out one way or another😂
About to have a C-section in exactly 2 weeks. I am so nervous!! This is our first child, and I’m so interested to know everything so I’m fully prepared!
I just had a c section and I felt like I was going to die during the surgery it was the worst but worth it for my babygirl but now I'm reconsidering about having another baby 😭😫
I had natural births for my first 2 kids but this one may end up in an emergency c-section due to polyhydramnois (extra amniotic fluid). So thanks for the info!
This was helpful. I am at 36 weeks and my baby has been projected to be in the 75th weight percentile and a big head, so a c-section is something I might have to do.
Thank you for all the info. I had an emergency c-section with my son almost 10 years ago and now with baby #2 I need to schedule one because of a medical issue. This wasn't new info for me but you did give a good layout of what to expect. I shared this with my fiance so he could watch as well. I think the only difference between my experience and yours was that I had to have a longer hospital stay. Thank you again. Wishing you and your family the best of health.
This video actually helped calm me down at the thought of having a c section thanks to my daughter currently being breech at 35 almost 36 weeks. It's a very real possibility that I will have to have one and I'm terrified. I'm also worried about recovering with my rowdy 2 year old son so I'll have to arrange for help with him.
Did your baby end up turning? I am currently akmost 35 weeks and baby is breech. I've had 5 vaginal births before this and my babies were always head down by now, so the possibility of having a c section is freaking me out.
No exaggeration. I have spoken to 8-9 girlfriends/coworkers and all the horror stories came from vaginal births.. tears, hemorrhaging, stuck in birth canal. My immediate coworker gave birth Thursday and she’s still bleeding and cramping from vaginal. 🤷♀️Another prior coworker has permanent droopy eye where the vacuum somehow got On her eye coming out. She said she was bullied in school as a result. I am going to try for an elective c section if they will allow.
I needed the anesthesiologist to hold my hand until my fiancé could be let in the room. I say this so that if you’re scared of feeling alone speak up and ask the nurse or anesthesia to talk to you to help calm you down and if you’re a weirdo like me freak out and ask them to hold your hands 😂
Haha I also had to hold both my husbands and the anastesiologist hands because of the weird sensations. I think it’s a completely normal and instinctive reaction
This was so helpful, thank you! I may be having to schedule one because mine is breech at the moment but we'll confirm at my next appointment. Your experience definitely provides a great understanding of the whole procedure and recovery 💛
Great video! I found every detail to be very accurate, however, I must add one more thing to the "after" , which is the F.U.P.A.. After complete recovery, and for the rest of your life, if you have even the slightest bit of excess body fat, your stomach will lap over your scar to form what is commonly referred to as a "F.U.P.A". Of course if you are fit as a fiddle, (like the presenter) it will not happen. Her tummy looks phenomenal! Mine? Not so much. Lol. Please comment if you know what I'm talking about...(Hopefully I haven't offended anyone with my comment.)
When i had my c section I went through the epidural so fast that I kept feeling what they did to me. Not very common so not to scare others but it does happen. I also was so drugged up from having an infection to them pumping me with epidural blocks that I was in and out of my c section and I don't remember the birth of my little one. I remember waking up in the recovery room. I also had my mesh dressing on until they took my staples out at 7 days post op. I stayed in the hospital for 4 days. It's different for each country and each hospital. So ask you doctor these questions. I had a tear in my uterus so I had to go for a CAT scan, so if you do have complications theu will send you for testing after to make sure all is well. I'm 8 week post on and I'm doing okay.
I had my catheter inserted before I entered the operating room, most uncomfortable feeling because the nurse struggled lol. This video is so informative ❤️
Pregnant with my third right now, first two were emergency csections so this time I don’t have the option to have a natural birth this time. I’m so anxious honestly!! My last pregnancy I had a spinal and they didn’t do a good job at helping me sit still when they did it. I also could see and still feel a lot of what was going on. I think the part I’m the most anxious about is when they pull my baby out and when they push on your stomach during surgery. The pain after when they come to check and push on your stomach after for me was awful both times.
@@essentiallylau I just had mine. I have uploaded my cs delivery here on my youtube channel. It’s been 2 weeks now. I feel great, my incision was just painful in the first night and for the first 2 days. After that I was walking normally without any problems. #1 tip for you, after surgery possibly after 8 hours try to walk! The earlier you walk the faster you will recover.
Omg me tooo! Two weeks from now.. I’m terrified and so hopeful baby will just turn around. Thank god for RUclips and all its information. Good luck with it all gorgeous🤍 we can do it!
Awe congrats! Loved this video! I had two c-sections with my babies, one was an emergency c-section and I’ll be having my 3rd c-section in 6 months! Btw, What state do you live in? Because it’s so beautiful outside where you were when u looked out the window at the hospital! We are looking to move to a more beautiful mountainous state like Colorado or something❤️🙏😇
I figured, hell, I’m an athlete I lifts weights. Train hard. I can do it… easy peasy. Wanted natural birth even was wanting no epidural but now at 37 weeks he’s measuring large and I’m reconsidering. I know ultrasounds can be off on size but… do we want to find out last minute and have things emergency or just go ahead and schedule the c section? I’m leaning on just scheduling. My mom and her brothers were over 9lbs. I was 9.5lbs and my sister was 10.5. My baby’s belly is already bigger then his head now and they say that makes vaginal alittle more difficult. I’ve talked to many women who wish they had done C-sections.
““For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.” John 3:16, 18
I came across this video because I'm having a scheduled c section in March for the first time, super nervous because I have a low tolerance for pain but I'll make sure to stay active and move around!

I’m scheduled for the 14th hope yours goes well
I’m also scheduled for a repeated C-Section December 6, 2021! Wish you the best ❤️ We’re almost there !
Good luck! 77% of private births here in South Africa are elective C-sections so it's obviously not so bad if everyone pretty much wants one

I had a c section with my first- it was awful- but I’m convinced a big part of that was because I had incredibly unrealistic expectations of what it was going to be like/feel like. I’ll have my 2nd c section baby in July and I’m so much better prepared. Videos like these are so important!
Me 2 im also due in july.
Same here due in july
Why was your C section so awful? The 'bad experiences' give me anxiety...
Just remember after about a week, you’re going to feel so much better ❤️❤️❤️❤️
One reason we love the halo bassinet is that you could have it right next to you and the bar goes down- great for C-section mamas!!
How are you now?? How was your recovery??
I cringed my way through this video, but I feel like I’d rather be prepared than not. Surgery freaks me out. Stitches freak me out. I’m due in December with my first and I hope so much I can give birth vaginally. You C-section moms are so tough! So much respect for you 💪🏻
how did it go for you?
I’m in the same boat so nervous
I have to get a c section because I am expecting triplets. This put me so at ease, and made me feel more comfortable going into this as a first time mom.
You're comment made my day! Congratulations! I hope everything goes smoothly for you! :)
Congratulations!!! I pray in Jesus name for a healthy delivery/C section for you. May God give you all the guidance and tools you need to be a Super Mom of 3. What a Blessing! CONGRATS!

This really helped and put me at ease tbh

How did your c section went with your heart problem, I have a heart issue and going to do a c section and scared
@@amielabuckley6164 honestly glad I had the c section in the end! I had hoped to push
But the whole process was truly a breeze!
I waited longer for the OR then giving birth lol
I had a spinal (3 needles in your back for numbing)
That was truly the only painful part of it all! And recovery of course
But once the numbing stuff kicks in
You feel nothing for hours after too
I didn't gain feeling in my legs till about 3 hours after birth
The recovery process isn't the worst either
Very sore for about a week after
But I was walking again the same day I gave birth
My heart was Fina as well
We decided to give birth at HOP
Which has CHOP across the street just incase the baby was born with the same condition as me
Thank God she wasn't and so far everything is good with her heart
But I still worry they didn't find my heaty condition till I was 4yrs old
Most children with my condition don't make it after 6months without surgery
I'm due for a c section in nov this year with my baby 😊 and feeling jittery, came to youtube to find mothers who shared about their experiences. Yours was so helpful and reassuring by far, thank you for taking the time to put this out here on the internet
Me too!
currently 33wks pregnant with a baby boy at 18, always told myself i’d do a c section and now i’m getting closer and closer to having my little man this calmed me down so so so much, the best educational and informative video i’ve seen yet THANK YOU
I had an emergency c-section as well but my experience was bad cause I needed another surgery 10 days after I gave birth due to internal bleeding.
6 years after my first. i am sooooo nervous as my first one was so hard on me. but watching these videos helps to calm my nerves. and i get my meet my first daughter which is always very comforting! i can’t wait to finally see her🥰💖
Omg me too just give birth feb 15 its my 2nd c section as well.. now im here at house just got home yesterday..
Me too after 6 years from the first child . Was csection also . In 3 weeks im going to have csection
8 years ago I had an emergency csec, going in for my planned one for number 2 in 17 days. Thank you for this video. Just feel natural.
You can plan a C Section?
Yes you can schedule one in Australia
I'm so glad I came across this video. I'm about to have my second c-section and had no idea if have to be away from my boyfriend for the spinal tap. I have sever anxiety and was shaking with my first emergency C-section. I'm glad I can mentally prepare for that and stay calm in those moments he's away from me
Great information!! Thanks. I’m getting my c section in t minus 3 hours!! Can’t wait to hold my baby boy!!
I just had a c section two weeks ago and it was so painful. The recovery was crazy. I’m think I can only do this one more time.
@@nicoledang27 I had an emergency c section for my first 10 years ago, a vbac (which was intense recovery from a tear and horrible constipation) and then this c section spinal 2 weeks ago.

I forgot to take my pain medication the morning they were to get me up, and the PAIN. I will never forget it and next time, I will ensure I take them.
Oh yeah I will never forget it too 🙁 I almost fainted from pain and I couldn't even walk or stand up straight
I had a c-section earlier this year and this video was sooooo helpful. Thank you!

I just had a c-section during the birth of my twins. Super painful about 48 hours after the surgery. I did not take enough pain medication. But if you don’t, You will feel a burning sensation and pulling.

Ill have my C-section next week because I tried ECV procedure since i have a breech baby but unfortunately didnt work. Hope everything goes well. Im excited and scary at the same time.
I have a question how many days before you produce a milk because I really wanted to have exclusive breastfeeding for my baby.

(Go a size bigger if you do buy depends)
After 6hrs a nurse comes in and helps you up.

Your description is on point!
This is the most informative video.

This is the most helpful video ! Thank you so much !! Amazing ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for this, very helpful as I might go through c section since my baby is still in breech.
Same here. With you in spirit ❤️ we've got this
Same! How were your experiences?
@@essentiallylau I'm not due for another 5 week's haha but I'll let you know!
@@MakeLoveN0tWarcraft hehe ok. Best of wishes. I'm going in tomorrow!
I am having a c-section at the end of this month since my baby is breech. Extremely nervous but this video helps
Omg me tooo! Two weeks from now.. I’m terrified and so hopeful baby will just turn around. Thank god for RUclips and all its information. Good luck with it all gorgeous🤍 we can do it!

Thank you. What an informative video.
Very helpful and informative

This video was really helpful and you're so positive:)
Thank you so much❤️ Very informative🙏
Great video! I was a C-section baby wnd and im planning on having a C-section in two more months...b/c imm just too afraid to give birth naturally.
But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.”
John 3:16, 18
Im having elecitve c section in june, on my wish
Bethany, what kind of scar removal product did you use for your C-section? Your last part of video shows the dramatic change?
I came across this video because I'm having a scheduled c section in March for the first time, super nervous because I have a low tolerance for pain but I'll make sure to stay active and move around!
Thanks for all the super helpful information.
