It sure was a great trip that one.
Cheers Tim
Thanks Tim. We found Mt Gipps Station on our way back from Mutawintji NP only a week ago. I didn't know they had a remote camping option until I watched your video so we stayed nearby the homestead in our camper trailer which was nice but I much prefer where you camped. The serenity looked amazing so thanks for sharing.
Gday mate
Ahh that’s great you stayed at Mt Gipps Station.
Maybe if you’re up that way again, try and get that spot where I camped.
It was amazing.
Thanks for your feedback
Cheers Tim
Looks like the perfect place to stay. Always looking for somewhere quiet for just me and my cattle dog
Its a great place, not sure if you can take dogs onto Mt Gipps Station.
Cheers Tim
Great to see you back Tim, great country out there, very underrated for touring. Try further north into corner country, Packsaddle, Milparinka, Tibooburra, Camerons Corner, Menindee Lakes, Anywhere on the Darling river.
G'day Peter,
You are spot on, it's so underrated. Certainly a lot to see and i will go further on the next trip.
The pub at Packsaddle comes highly recommended.
Next time.
Cheers Tim
G’day Tim, A picture says a thousand words alright. At about 35:55 is just awesome bush cooking Tim! A perfect cooking fire with perfection in a pan! I reckon you should grab a stilhl shot & frame it on the wall. “I love it” 😊 I replayed it half a dozen times. Looks like great trip & thanks for sharing, I might check it out in the future.Safe travels Tim.👍
G'day David,
Bush cooking is amazing, the flavours from the campfire are so good.

Hi Tim. We're just back from a 4000km trip to there and back to see the Darling River with water in it. Great country at the moment. Road closures due to rain and flooding require a flexible itinerary. Thanks for sharing your trip.
Gday mate,
So much to see along the Darling River, it's great to see a good bit of colour from the recent rains.
Great country alright mate.
Thanks for your reply.

Excellent video - been waiting for another camping trip like this with campfire cooking too! Thanks .... it was worth the wait - beautiful countryside with the sounds of Aussie nature to wake up to and starry skies to sleep under. Nice time of year to wander around as well.

The bird noises are amazing and they sure make a very relaxing time to be out camping.
This is a great time of year to go up that way, not to hot at all.
Cheers Tim
heaps nice to see ! congrats on your trip! Go the Patrol! ☀️🏜️🌳🏞️😎🤙📹🛻
but UHF channel 32 is the repeater input channel for 02 so they shouldn't be on that frequency. 📡
Thanks mate. It was a great trip.
As for the station using Ch32.
It’s only for people staying on the station for emergency use only.
Thanks for your feedback mate.
Cheers Tim

Always makes me laugh seeing square bread in a round jaffle iron lol.
Good on ya Batesy
Hahah lol, i know right. What were they thinking when they made the round jaffle iron all those years ago.
It's well over 50 years old.
Cheers Tim
Hello Tim, in those days you could actually buy round(ish) loaves of bread called “tank loaves”. They were probably a better fit in the round jaffle irons. Loved the video too Tim. More outback trips please! Best wishes, John.
Great to see you out camping again Tim. Looks like a really nice place Mt Gipps Station. Checked it out online and pretty good pricing too. You going to start more venturing outside the VHC? Still would love to see more of you doing the VHC as well.
Gday Phillip

Great to see you making content again, Batesy. I didn't get past the Silverton pub when I popped up that way from Mildura. Ever been to the Flinders Ranges? Cracking area to explore and highly recommended. Cheers.
Thanks mate, it was a great trip.
I spent a day looking around Silverton.
I'm planning a Flinders Ranges trip as we speak. Im really keen to see that area and more from the red dirt country.
Thanks mate for your reply.

Grouse video! I'd love it if you did a quick video on how to setup the awning extensions? Years back you did one on how to use a normal awning - I'm a ding dong and can't do the extension part 😅
Thanks mate, thats ace you enjoyed it.
Hey, i will look into making a video on the extension sheet setup, as i do get a few people asking about it.
Thanks heaps for your feedback.
Cheers Tim

Gday mate,
Thanks very much mate. Glad you enjoyed this outback trip.
Amazing place to explore.
Hope you get back out soon mate.

On my travels l have been staying at a lot of farm stays so far. Each place has their own unique attractions. Must admit the Darling River Run offered many of these unique experiences and they have been some of the best adventures so far. Thanks Tim for show casing Mt Gibbo Station, added it to my list on my return trip back to Vic in a few months time.
G'day mate,
There's so many working stations to stay on. Many have quite remote locations to set up camp, so you can really take in the peace and quiet.
Check out Mount Gipps Station mate, Sam and Richard are really nice people that own it.
Thanks heaps for your reply mate.
Cheers Tim
Good to have you back Tim with a travel vid very enjoyable 👍👍
