I definitely think you're on to something here. I tried your tuning at Nürburgring, where I take all my cars to test their handling, and I ran into the issue I originally speculated I would when I saw the video. All the down force is removed, making the car very flighty. I left the track coming off a hill a couple times so I added much more down force in my tune and I stay glued to the road much better and thus my tires have way more traction. Another issue I noticed that ultimately did give me trouble as well was the excessive amount of ballast added to the front end. I think all the weight up front has created a wild and slippery fiend in back for me personally. Initially when I tried your build, I was slipping all over the grass. Since I've tweaked those couple of areas, I now stay firmly glued to the asphalt around those sharp turns. I recommend trying it out.
I also noticed that I am in the 7's in the 1/4 vs the 9's shown here. I as well don't use ballast and do use aero parts for down force. I'm going to try the suspension areas of this time to try it out since mine is having issues turning enough
