I’m in a similar situation, though right now I’m still in the “making excuses” phase while my older siblings just straight up say “No,” and have even told him that they don’t want to spend time with him. I’m the youngest, and my siblings expect me to step up and act older and speak my mind, but I’m only in sixth grade, and trying to tell my dad that I don’t want to spend time with him is difficult. It’s true, but each time I try to say it, my dad guilt trips me, and when I call him out for it, he says, “If your feeling guilty by what I’m saying, then you know your wrong,” when it’s the other way around, and my dad’s the one to blame. Also, being around my dad just isn’t healthy. He doesn’t even have a house, and during the whole coronavirus thing, he is super paranoid, saying how the world will never recover from this, and I’m trying to stay optimistic during this whole thing, (which isn’t something I normally do,) and he just ruins that. Currently, though, my mom put a restraining order on him, and he isn’t allowed to contact us at all. It’s been fun these past few weeks without having to worry about him randomly showing up to the house, or having to worry about nothing to do in his RV.
I'm sorta going through the same thing right now, I'm in the 9th grade and my parents are seperated (legally still together) and my father is taking all my moms money. He always wants to hang out with me and my little brother, and we cant say no because afterall. Hes the adult...he doesnt even understand the fact that hes a horrible human being. When we all still lived together as a "family" it was horrible, he would verbally abuse us. He never cared, he literally NEVER spent money on me and my brother! He realized how wrong his father is and I am glad his mother raised him right. I am glad that he sees the wrongdoings in his father so he knows not to do it once he is grown.
Elijah said he hasn’t built up the courage to say what’s on his mind to his father’s face yet, but now he doesn’t have to Quarantine can be a blessing sometimes
Hey Elijah! If you're reading this, I wanted to say, don't be afraid to confront your dad! You're doing what's best for you. You and your family are in my prayers! Good Luck!
That's why I told myself to learn how to become a good mother and wife first before I get married to a good man. Marriage is a huge responsibility and I don't understand why some people take it so easily. I want my future children to be happy and know that they are not alone. Kinda learnt this from experience.
Moral of this Storybooth story is: Elijah's father has been cheated with many wives since he had argue with them over the past few weeks. Still, he becomes a player knowing that he is still in love with his first wife but then why arguing with her in the first place?
Pretty sure because -not supporting the family Or -cheating (which explains why he gets another wife so quick) (I have dad like that, thats why they argue all the time)
God bless Elijah's mother for choosing to change , to honor God in her new lifestyle, breaking those habits. May God be with Elijah as he faces his father, may God touch Elijah's fathers' heart and draw Elijah's father to God.
you got this kiddo i had the same issue growing up i was too scared to tell my dad how i felt, but once i said what i had to say i felt more stronger and better about myself. me and my dad aren’t really on speaking terms but now i have a better life and i’m a happy college student 🙃
2:07 😂😂 *the irony of that tho* “live laugh LOVE” what the picture shows: *kids screaming and fightng and mother disappointed and angry needing help also saying “kill me”* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭
I know I sure as hell would be scared to tell off my dad- Let’s think, his dad is addicted to drugs and alcohol, keeps remarrying and arguing with his wife’s and putting pressure on him? Yeah, I’d be a little scared but so sick of his sh!t that I would tell him off. That dude needs a reality check.
I can relate so much to this my parents aren’t and never were drug addicts but they got a divorce and it lead to me seeing my father’s true colors as well it’s truly devastating
Just tell him that you want to be more open with him. Tell him how you feel. Even if your dad argues a lot. Tell him "I love you, I hope everything will turn out okay for you." Remember, have faith, trust God, and turn away from your sins.
I understand my dad is in the same place as yours except he has never been married to enyone but my mum I still love him but I don't like going to his flat cause theres nothing to do and it smells of cigarettes and alcohol but he's trying to get better,I miss him
Congrats to this guy, I know how hard it is to say that first no and cut out a toxic parent from your life, you should never have to endure their toxicity and bad habits like that. ❤️

The same thing happened to me, i grew up in a small town in ontario living with my grandparents, me and my sister never got to live in a city in alberta with mom but see her on vacations, she always come visit, back then, and somewhere in 2011-2012 i learned about how abusive my dad was, when he beat the shit out of her, that time somewhere in the 2000s, around summer 2021 where i was getting older before my 18th birthday, i asked my mom what if i'm still scared of my own dad for all the shit he done in their relationship, and another thing that's been tough, my real mom and dad never been married either, my dad was never there for me, he lives across the country with another woman and different kids that were strangers to me. i never met them in person.

Elijah said he hasn’t built up the courage to say what’s on his mind to his father’s face yet, but now he doesn’t have to
Quarantine can be a blessing sometimes
what a great mother im proud of her for her to stop drinking and doing drugs and got a job afterwards when she was pregnant im proud of that
*It's sometimes hard to accept who your parents are, but I'm glad that he hated his dad after all* I'm so proud of Elijah
Hey Elijah! If you're reading this, I wanted to say, don't be afraid to confront your dad! You're doing what's best for you. You and your family are in my prayers! Good Luck!
C’mon my guy! Go stand up for yourself and let him know what you think!
Wow, I'm so proud of Elijah's mom! She made the rational choice to get clean for her little blessing :)
That's why I told myself to learn how to become a good mother and wife first before I get married to a good man. Marriage is a huge responsibility and I don't understand why some people take it so easily. I want my future children to be happy and know that they are not alone. Kinda learnt this from experience.
I understand him too well. My father hasn't really been a father. I'm not even sure if he is alive or not. My aunt knows that my parents used to argue
Moral of this Storybooth story is: Elijah's father has been cheated with many wives since he had argue with them over the past few weeks. Still, he becomes a player knowing that he is still in love with his first wife but then why arguing with her in the first place?
You can see Elijah's father has financial issues along with past issues. It's logical every wife the father had always argue with him.
Pretty sure because
-not supporting the family
Or
-cheating (which explains why he gets another wife so quick)
(I have dad like that, thats why they argue all the time)
@@gabriellatambunan9616how does he get woman so quickly? Is there such thing as seduction?
God bless Elijah's mother for choosing to change , to honor God in her new lifestyle, breaking those habits. May God be with Elijah as he faces his father, may God touch Elijah's fathers' heart and draw Elijah's father to God.
It breaks my heart knowing that there are people like this that exist.

His mother is amazing! She got completely clean just for her baby! Some parents don’t do that. Let’s give his mom a round of applause!
you got this kiddo i had the same issue growing up i was too scared to tell my dad how i felt, but once i said what i had to say i felt more stronger and better about myself. me and my dad aren’t really on speaking terms but now i have a better life and i’m a happy college student 🙃
yeah, I would wish him luck because that can happen to so much people in life.

I'm gonna say goodluck because he has to tell his father that he's never going to his house ever again
I know I sure as hell would be scared to tell off my dad-
Let’s think, his dad is addicted to drugs and alcohol, keeps remarrying and arguing with his wife’s and putting pressure on him? Yeah, I’d be a little scared but so sick of his sh!t that I would tell him off.

His mom is such a good person ! She came clean all for her child ❤️

Your mom was so good and glad to see you 💙💙💙
You got to be glad with having good parents even if they are poor or barely living but at least you'll have love.
RyanSquad Yeah
2:49 is the funniest part because the dads face🤣🤣🤣🤣
I feel for this dude. It kinda went like this with me, my mom and dad was drug attics and such, then my mom went to jail for some reason and figured out I was pregnant, so once she got out she finally cleaned herself... but my dad didn’t want to quit so they’re broke it off, I don’t remember him at all...
I feel so bad for this dude, he dad sounds like a nitwit
Be careful when you stand up he’s seems very aggressive and can hurt you it’s better to text it or just talk on the phone then go to him I wish you the best of luck it’s not fun to go threw that
It's so sweet that his mom actually put the effort into quitting drugs and bettering herself because she was pregnant.
Awwww I’m so sorry about your dad :( take care
