You have become really good at hosting us aboard your new boats. Very enjoyable show. Just finished watching the Wynns present the Superyacht 8801 an amazing big red boat. That boat had full-size side-by-side refrigerators, an amazing boat.
I'm absolutely floored! What a superlative example of HH craftsmanship and emphasis on pioneering design in the effort to push the envelope of naval architecture. I really love what you did with the aft helm on this yacht. Incredibly well executed.
The extraordinary attention to detail and exquisite workmanship is paramount. Appreciate the willingness of HH to translate the owners wishes into a beautifully executed outcome !! Stunning!!! A far cry from the mass produced mediocrity exemplified by too many other catamaran manufacturers ……
There are only 2 boats in the world I truly want. One is a Bering... The other is that very HH55. That is the finest sailing cat I have ever seen. Well done!
That is a gorgeous boat. I rarely remember HH yachts but when I see them I'm always so impressed! The owner really expressed himself well with colors & carbon and the boat is very masculine in every respect. What is the displacement of this large 55? And, what can she carry additionally? Spacious with beautiful finish carpentry, I sense that weight may impact the performance polars and she carries a lot of windage to boot with the full cover. I wonder how she'd do in a Southern Ocean blow? I suspect the rigging is as robust as every other fitting seen but I'd love to see how lines landed about the boat and what would require leaving the safety of under cover in a squall. Quite a looker!
Gorgeous! My dream Cat! I hope that the seat at the helm has a height adjustment, because what I think I saw with the overhead hatch/panel pulled shut was that significant headroom was lost causing the helmsman to bend at the neck in a seated position.
Super dope move on that B&G lateral stack on the coach roof. If I had one of these, I'd probably love it so much that I wouldn't want to push her in pursuit of some regatta victory. Then again, I've never been a regatta guy, but I imagine the competition and camaraderie would have me pounding on the pied-à-terre a couple of times a year. lol
Each new boat is better than the previous one, continuous improvement, a boat of dreams. If i had to pick one i would pick this one. I love the new aft cockpit! fully enclosed in bad weather?
I was going to ask why there is a hole below the main display, but figured out that is the place to mount a bag to catch the lines coming off the winches. Seems like a good idea. Love the hard top bimini and the integrated glass (or whatever) dodger. I wonder if the helmsman seat is adjustable up and down because when you closed the sliding hatch above the helm station, it looked like you had to tilt your head hard over to fit underneath it. I agree with the other commenters below, beautiful boat!
Nice looking vessel and finish. I am amazed at the lack of head room at the helm when enclosed. Looks like you would have to sit and operate all the lines etc .
5-18-24. After watching Jason and Nikki's Wynn's vids taken at the HH factory and interviews with the Hakes management, ,staff and the construction artisans its clear that the HH engineering, and carbon fiber materials assemblies in their Catamarans is superior to all others. There there is the fact that that Wynns after years of considerable sailing experience and boat replacement investigation chose to buy Hull #3 of the initial HH44OC production. We have had an in depth video tour of the Wynns Cat and it is magnificent in every detail. The wiring was done so well that is is an absolute work of art and installed in such a manner as to be very accessable and marked for fast fault location and repairability. .
The attention to detail is immaculate, absolutely stunning how the company is able to present this quality while also maintaining the performance! Is the raised bimini an option the owner can opt into, or was this requested by an owner? I think it's a really interesting choice if you want to also combine it with an eco-drive for example.
Fantastic sailing yacht one of the best CAT's on the market in my estimation but would like more construction process information on the bulk heads and hull.
With such light boats and efficient hulls I wonder if HH will ever get into power catamarans. I like catamarans for their space, efficiency, and stability but I prefer power cats and the hybrid marine systems available now and in the next couple years could make it very affordable travel via powercats....
@@HHCatamarans If you guys do a powercat it's gonna be a really long wait list to get one given how excellent HH is in the design, quality, and build of their cats. Will certainly be one of the most coveted yachts.
Yes, we recommend this to all of our owners. While it's more expensive up front, we think this is a far better antifouling system because it lasts longer than traditional bottom paint.
That's our test pool. We place the yachts in there to confirm they float on their lines and test systems. Another nice feature of our production facility.
Great boat. I have a suggestion, if there were a fire in the electrical/battery room, how would you get to the fire extinguisher? Maybe install a fire suppression system if you haven't already.
Head clearance at helm station when sliding overhead cover is closed is ridiculously tight. You should be able to stand at the helm station with it closed but you wouldn't be able to do so with this design. Raise it another 6-12" and you'd be on point!
There have been a couple bloggers that have reviewed our boats (and quite positively too), but we are a limited producer of semi-custom yachts and there are only a handful in the market today. I am getting up in age and I am sure there are a lot of people in my age group who quite sailing due to safety reasons .. man handling sails and reefing especially ..you have done a great job in innovation any hopes you will add these options.
Most of our yachts are semi-custom and we are more than willing to build the right yacht for your needs. We do tend to be overly focused on performance, but if you wanted a boom furler on an HH55 then we can work with you to find a solution that stays true to the brand while providing the boat that fits your needs. Give us a ring!
We offer boats in a range of prices, starting at $948,000 up to $15m. Shoot us an email and we'll get you in the right one for your needs! Sales@hhcatamarans.com
Our focus is on a Parallel Hybrid system that provides electric propulsion but also the redundancy of a diesel motor to spin the shaft. Our company has previously built an all-electric Gunboat 66 and our learning from that project is that for true world cruising the technology is not there yet.
Shaft drives are significantly superior in terms of reliability, easy of maintenance and durability. It also moves the engine weight forward which is better for performance and balance.
Great boat guys but I think you need someone to not, over sell, the boats. I'm sure he is proud of his boats but needs to almost let the boats sell themselves, which they do!
It’s the dream Cat and the eye for detail. Only issue? Why didn’t they design it with a shaft drive and not a sail drive? Such a shame. Then it would be perfect.

These boats are just ridiculously beautiful…!! Great job 👍👌
Thank you very much!
Blown away by the 55! Pun intended...What a beauty. Amazing work, design and materials used. Hoping to order an HH 44 some day.

The most beautiful one yet... Inside and out!

Thank you!
What an incredible and beautiful HH Catamaran! Thank you so much for sharing this clients semi-custom home on the ocean.
Thanks Paul.
Great presentation
Congratulations on a spectacular HH 55.

Great video and a fantastic boat. Coppercoat is the bottom paint isn’t it?
Yes, we recommend this to all of our owners. While it's more expensive up front, we think this is a far better antifouling system because it lasts longer than traditional bottom paint.
Stunningly awesome, but what happens in tough weather at the helm when you have rain coming in on the Starboard side @ 30° is there any cover?
Swing the helm in or walk over to the other helm.
Plenty of options.
