The murder weapon in the first scene was the carpet tool. It had already been placed in an evidence bag by the time Batman got there but he see it. How ever he doesn’t know what it is (heck I don’t know what it is). But still like you said he isn’t all knowing his deductive reasoning is the reason he’s the greatest detective but at this point he’s not as well versed as he is later in his career. Also the theory is that At the end of The Batman him saying he needs to be a symbol of hope and that will be both Bruce Wayne and a lighter Batman. At the point of the movie Bruce is the most reclusive person in Gotham (much like year one) he hasn’t had the idea to use the identity of Bruce Wayne to his advantage.
In the prequel book to The Batman it says bruce was an active street racer and that he did train for years. I think he's one of the best Batman tbh. Literally straight from TAS.
This batman is the opposite of stealthy, or skilled as a fighter. He is a brawler at best. And if pattinson batman is gonna just try to tank a shit ton of shots from henchmen, he definitely needs better armor. He wasnt even that good of a detective honestly in the movie.
This Batman is trained. Also you’re wrong. The end of Batman year one is him meeting with Gordon at the bat signal. Gordon saying “this guy who calls himself the joker threatened to poison the reservoir” and hands him a joker card. Now yes Batman does get more training after that but that’s because of the appearance of villains like death stroke and Bane and that is when he meets the league. At this point he’s a tracker, fighter, escape artist, racer, etc. the reason this Batman isn’t stealthy is because he wants to pick a fight. But also in Year one it’s established that he does in fact make noise to scare people when he’s being stealthy. He literally growls at people. Pattinson is still my favorite Batman
Some that are saying he is the best Batman don’t know shit! I don’t care if it’s your opinion or not! This guys Batman was nasty!! He could have been a better Terry McGinnis. Even his suit was nasty and then this whole inclusion thing it’s really annoying!
Man at top right does not give a single fuck bout the conversation 😭😭😭 he just sitting there, then left to get his DoorDash for 2 minutes n came back n started eating that shit he did not speak once
Lmao i'm cracking up at BOTH. It's established that THIS BATMAN was USING Batman to be "Vengance".. To work out his trauma through violence. Yes he fights crime and "helps" people but it's almost as it's by default. Getting to the beginning scene, IF he wanted to be "undetected" by the thugs he would've. The Point WAS to be something that was coming but, was unknown. To create fear of the unknown that you know is coming. He does this AND saves the civilian (almost without intention and by default) however his reaction is "Don't hurt me". At the end of the movie he realizes not only that Alfred was right, and the kids he helps make him realized that he needs to be more than Vengence. He needs to "inspire". A sign of "hope" to a degree. Ya boy i missing EVERYTHING about this movie. We saw an change in the character, which indicates we will see an evolution. He brings up BTAS, but forgets Mask Of The Phantasm. That version of "young" bruce was reckless. Hell he was going up against gangs as Bruce Wayne in fucking slacks. Pattinson was the "Real Life" version of that. Matt Rieves said this Batman is based on 'YEAR ONE". This dude is lamenting about a "Modern Day Comic" version of the character. I aint Fanboying here, but he needs to watch the movie for what it is supposed to be. His bias against Pattinson isn't allowing him to imo.
in that guy's world, Police find a murder victim stabbed to death, they can just tell what kind of knife it was by sight, if they were shot.. they already know what kind of gun, blunt force trauma...obviously its a carpeting tool.. not a hammer.. bat.. pipe.. heavy weight..
@@chrismarte7682It’s a second year Batman, who hasn’t been able to distinguish Bruce from Batman. That was a whole plot point in how Bruce doesn’t do anything for the City and just hides in Bruce’s Tower.

From the novel didn’t Alfred teach him how to fight as well? This Batman got the sauce

There's no worst Batman than George Clooney.
He's not the worst, but he's extremely overrated
