I have been running an Arc Lash/Blizzard build since pre-release. When I saw Paingorger's gauntlets and Adaptability aspect, I knew my prayers had been answered. Although I am not a min-maxer and play more of an RPG themed build, these newly released items took my OK build and ramped it up about threefold. I use Blizzard to tag everything and then teleport in with a Frost Nova and Arc Lash while the Ice Spikes start exploding. It might not be a top tier build but it is fun and effective. Now if I could just find a Paingorger's with better stats. Farming the Beast in Ice has failed to produce any at all but I have gotten two from NMD with mediocre stats. Still they work good.
I'm no where near as high level as you are but I have been using Arc Lash as a mana generator when I don't have all my items or aspects I need. It isnt taking away from anything for the blizzard build because instead of 2 in firebolt, you can do one in Arclash and one in Firebolt. It's allowed me to clear and live through fights I had no business doing so. At least that's how I see it.
So levelled the Gliffs and shift focus from vulnerable damage to more immediate types of damage. Added the Oculus and Melted Heart of Selig. Recon it's an S Class build. Thanks for the guidance, my version wasn't quite hitting the mark, but spot on now with your crit build.
I play this and some things I disagree with. Daggers arent worth it, the close damage does not scale well, its like 3% more damage, Wands Lucky hit chance is good for elemental attunement. So I prefer want over dagger. And not sure about your gems, Topaz on weapons dont do much since most your damage comes from procs.. and not the basic skill damage. I need to test that tho.
Made changes to my sorcerer - does not have all the same specs - but it is doing great. Looking for the Ice blade vulnerability of 25% and the ESU 50% to add but no luck. I kept chain lighting (as my gear has 5 points towards it) and is working very well. Having lots of fun, Thanks.
His builds honestly aren't worth following. Half his interactions aren't even correct and he misunderstands core concepts, and basically just exaggerates. He takes established builds from other creators, makes them worse to try and differentiate. Then just pumps out videos toing T90 NMDs as if that's relevant to show a limit test on a build. McDonald's Diablo channel.
There are no less than 42,000 different firewall meteor guide on RUclips this season and this is the SECOND arc lash I've seen. You flavor of the month sheep need to chill tf out.

The first was the Firewall Meteor build that they still haven't completed, where they suggest putting 'Aspect of Engulfing Flames' on the amulet slot of the build, considering that firewall is an AoE DoT and not actually a burn, it really only gains value from the first half of aspect which works out at a 1.15x burn damage. The latter half only affects the 'Mages Firewall' component which applies a small burn to the enemy if they leave the firewall for 3 seconds. It basically never triggers above 10% life and is pragmatically useless, so advising people to put that on the amulet is just horrible advice, and if they had tested this their DPS would reflect this horrible decision. The second build I watched was the 'Blizzard build with a twist' where they spec into 'Esu's Ferocity' instead of Shatter in order to augment the X'Fals fire procs and enable the use of the +50% attack speed enchant for MaSSiVE DaMAGR. But anyone who is familiar with Blizzard knows that attack speed is useless beyond a point if you can't sustain the mana. And using Tibaults requires an animation, effectively a GCD to trigger and regen mana. So the excessive attack speed is literally useless. Ironically Esu's Ferocity is bugged and works with all damage types anyway, secondly X'Fals is a good ring for Blizzard, but the real value from Blue Rose isn't it's lucky hit Proc, it's it's unique resource cost reduction roll that allows you to stack blizzards more efficiently via mana management for higher peoc coefficients, but the proc itself still non negligible and accounts for around 15% total DPS, as well as a crit damage roll that scales with Ice spokes very well due to the triple damage when frozen and +10% crit from stalagmite glyph. So when I see this third 'BeST SoRC DPS' build plodding through NMD T94 I was hoping to save people some time from investing I'll advised time into their characters from a creater that's priority is to use hyperbole with a fundamental lack of understanding to create 'guides' for less informed players to click farm them for views rather than actually giving a shit, or doing a bit of due diligence and actually researching what they are talking about if they are going to advise others. Hope that helps, I don't owe a content creator any loyalty, but if I can save newer players wasted time. Worth it.

I was on this build pre pain gorgers season two I called it carpel tunnel sorc or blue pets. I got 1 to 100 in 15.5 hours. Flockerstep is also better imo due to ice blade enchantment. Also 0 cdr can be very good as well for enhancement effect. Conjugation mastery passive on neck. I was always able to maintain 18-24 conjugations x6 math can’t be beat
Seems I always spend about a day farming for elements (and/or gear) to try out Josh's latest crazy-ass build and then get about another day to get comfortable with it before getting back on RUclips and hearing that all-too-familiar "Hellllllo, my fellow Sorcerers..." :D
Misinformation here though.. attack speed cap is 200 theres 2 different buckets of attack speed both max at 100 but ideally you want 182% + to reach the frame rate max of 5attacks/sec.. putting ancient flame on your amulet nets you more attack speed but conditional but its uptime is nearly 100 perecent so doesnt matter in this case tbh

Try this with oculus if u use teleport right after u dash u will be teleported to where u want to go and even lower cd on teleport and if r lucky u can group enemies better and u will never ever run out of barrier because oculus makes dash give barrier as well
I am using the gloves and aspect with firebolt + aspect of burning flames + Esu ferocity. Talk about melting with burning damage. It's funny watching everything getting marked and you kill a minion which destroys an elite nowhere near you.
Other than ice blades, what is making all enemies chilled all the time as stated in the video? Ice blades cant keep up chilled on all targets as fast as this build moves…

Up to 84 lvl with good aspects U are dead all the time barrier goes down on 54 lvl dungeons. Will give them a chance up to all paragons and glyphs to upgrrade.. Tried withj ancient flame and Esu Feerocity.. and overflowing and shreeding blades.. First make super atk speed.. secong is beetter with CD :) But I will give this build a chance

All my diablo playing friends have convinced themselves not to play because of traps or this that or the other. haha They be like self depressed and not having a blast like this build XD so in chat the other night they were going on about traps and i said "I like the traps". omg they all went quiet as if i was a noob.
cool toy for sure. based on the duriel clip (2:30) tho, on dmg it’s probably about half or a third of what blizzard glacial does. to make this S tier, would need 250-300x on paingorger gloves.
No resistances, even with shako you're squishy (turbo). Great dps but this is not enough to survive (ie poison fire etc...) Nice try for me but back on other arc build

DUDE!!!!! this is way so much better and i dont have all the gear... dude!!!! like dude.... on a sad note i almost left ya discord today due to no one admining the discord when all of us got spammed with a porn bot... i lost a dino on ark due to this that it froze my screen and i had to personally block the loser and report them... if you see this appoint more admins on your discord... that spino was 10days and hours of my lift i cant get back
*laughs in Stormclaw druid*....yeah, same concept. Using the same two aspects with stormclaw is nuts. Love these basic skill builds. Never having to worry about resource.
Bring us a Ball Lightning Set-Up that doesnt make us Ball Lightning lovers feel bad. I mean with ubers you still fly through ND100, but its still not the same to kill not have a S-Tier level build. Every class basically got at least one. All Sorcs are high, Meteor, Ball Lightning, Blizzard, Arc Lash, Mixed Builds, all great A-Tier but not a single S-Tier, it just lacks the power. It is so disappointing. I had a smile on my face finding starless skies but sloting it in and just feeling a slight bump, well, same with harlekin, yeah, its kind of a really sad feeling. Sloting Harlekin and Godfather into any Barb build and boom. Damage jumps to oblivion. If they dont patch something in I just keep on playing Barb like the rest, wait for my Godfather and then I quit the game until season 4 or 5. Still a thumb up for the effort. But nothing feels like Ball Lightning Season 2. Its like a really bad drug you stick addicted to the feeling you had.

I use charged bolts and it wrecks T100. I am a bit squishy sometimes teleporting right into the thick of things.
