    Sir I have question.
    In the mass spectrum of dodecahedrane (C20H20) approximate ratio of the peaks at m/z 260 and 261 is
    a)1:1
    b)5:1
    c)10:1
    d)20:1
    Sir plz explain

    How you will get radical peak at m/z 43 in very first compound ?
    Mass spectrometer never read radical mass.
    Can you explain

    Sir how we find the molecular formula with the help of mass spectroscopy

    • @AllBoutChemistry
      @AllBoutChemistry  6 лет назад +1

      Anju Mahiwal, the highest value of m/z in mass spectra denotes molecular ion peak. So it will represent the Mol mass of whole compound.
