The model 801B Air Innovations ultrasonic, cool mist, smart humidifier is one of the top rated and longest running humidifiers available for its size. It features a 2.15-gallon tank that runs for a full 120 hrs on low (15 nights of sleep) and is completely silent. It’s powerful enough to add humidity to large rooms up to 700 SQ ft. and it also has a programmable built-in humidistat that maintains the humidity level you set. The entire unit and base are made of antimicrobial plastic to prevent bacteria, mold, and mildew growth. Also included is a permanent ceramic filter to help trap impurities in your water. It also has a 360-degree rotating mist nozzle helps direct the moisture.
Unlike Vicks, Crane and Honeywell humidifiers, it also has a built in handle on the top and bottom of the tank with extra wide opening for easy filling. It also has a programmable timer and an auto safety shut off that audio beep when it runs out of water. Perfect for kids and babies, this cool mist humidifier also rehydrates your skin to help you look younger, relieves dry eyes, scratchy throats, post nasal drip and helps reduce snoring so you sleep better. It also rehydrates wood furniture, cabinets, wood floors and wooden guitars.
I have the older version that you unscrew from the bottom and fill tank. It helps so much with the static and shock in the house. The cool mist feels great on your dry face.
I use it every winter. Love it..but now I want this one, since you can fill from the top.
Thanks so much
How to make the water stop leaking out into the base before I plug it up
I love my unit & it’s been working well for years. I’m concerned with cleaning it. I use alcohol & water to clean the tanks & filter, I swish the solution around but I notice a slime on the inside where I can’t reach. I see this tan slime in the bottom of the unit also. I realize the importance of keeping it clean. I lost my manual, can you give me more hints aside from vinegar? I know soap is out of the question. Thanks one and all!!!
This humidifier is showing (waterless indicator light is on). I know that the water from the tank must flow into the base where the water level sensor and the nebulizer are located. The tank is filled and the base shows plenty of water. I have loosen up the tank cap to allow the water to flow into the base and reach the appropriate water level. The light continues to be on!

Why does my humidifer build up slimy pink stuff?
What can I do to fix mine from leaking where the tanks meets the base? It’s like the tank is letting to much water in and then the base is overflowing

Need filter for model mh-901d. The universal filter does not work, and no one has the type of filter that came with the product.
I'm looking for a replacement filter also can't find one. What did you end up doing with your humidifier.
My humidifier will no longer allow water to flow into the bottom portion. If I press the bottom of the fill tank the water comes out, but when I place it on the base no water will drain. What went wrong?
Hello! It's very possible that your ceramic filter is screwed in too tight. Loosen it, then make it snug but not too tight. If that doesn't work, we're happy to help you troubleshoot this - visit www.air-innovations.com and select the chat feature. Thanks!
I am having the same issue. Did you ever find a fix?
