@harrysonbreak If you didn't watch the West Wing regularly the in jokes will probably not be apparent. You'd have to have an understanding of how Aaron Sorkin shot things, the nuance in the dialogue, delivery by the WW cast and some of the overall tropes associated with the show. Its a great parody though, especially the dude impersonating Toby Ziegler. That was spot on how Richard Schiff (the actor that played him) would deliver lines when Toby got 'mad'.
I used to hear about this show when I was a toddler watching PBS Kids, listening to Crayola songs, playing with LittlePeople, jamming to my old Thomas laptop, etc. 😔
2:45 I think the A24 production company fans are just like this. They feel smarter for having sat though it, that's why they overrated their boring movies.
My husband loves this show. They are having a marathon today. My husband is hard of hearing. I'm going to leave the house and not come back until husband is asleep.
This beats the Finny or Die reunion "walking commercial" in humor and spoof. The original cast should have taken notes on how to make fun of themselves.
