1:38 Obiwan: "I'm so sorry". He turns, pulls the cloak over his head and walks away. His mind tortured by what he has seen his apprentice and friend become, what it will do to Padme. His pace quickens as he strides out of the room and onto the landing platform, his resolve now set in stone, he knows what must be done.
Anakin's life is nothing else than pain and suffering. He killed the love of his life trying to save her. He destroyed an entire Republic just to save her... And he failed. Star Wars is deeper and darker than most people tend to see. It is not just space battles and lightsaber duels... It is a story.
This film by far had the best soundtrack out of the entire saga. It adds to the emotions that surrounded the events. I don't think there is a single score from this film that I didn't like.
Anyone remember battlefront 2 when u were the hero and get killed this song comes on? It happened everytime in the jedi temple, only on the republic side and it made me rage as i went ham on the droids rolling towards the firefight against droidekas and both side's troops dying left and right thats when i first heard this masterpiece
love how the music swells as obi-wan turns to leave, almost like it's a reflection of him building up to confronting anakin. 10/10, top notch soundtrack
the soundtrack is the one thing that can never be disputed about the prequels and is the one time where if someone says they didn't like it my reply will just be "well you're wrong"
Though the sacrifices are heavy, we fight knowing that....A single spark of courage can ignite the fires of hope, and restore peace across the Galaxy 😭😭😭😔😔😔... You... were decieved... And now, your Republic shall fall!

I felt so bad for Anikins wife she loved him so much the story in episode was so dark to Anikin killing younglings and obi wan having to fight some one that was like a brother to him. Then to the clones disbanding all the bonds between the Jedi one of the darkest episode out of the franchise.
"that did it! hold on, getting a transmission from Coruscant, patching it through" "Like all Jedi, Master Ferroda is a traitor to the Republic, execute order 66,find him and eliminate him" "Find Ferroda and take him out, that's an order!!" "what are you doing?! search your feelings! you know I'm not the true traitor!" "you've been corrupted by the dark side, just like your brother!" "I sense the good in you, don't do this" (if you're wondering, that's a battlefront elite squadron reference) everytime I play that part of the campaign, I burst into tears... Poor Ferroda 😭😭😭 he treated X1 like a son, and X1 kills him...😔😔
They need to use this song in Star Wars episode 9 trailer. And they also need to use duel of the fates song when Rey and Kylo Ren and the next main villain fight.
A lot of people used to talk shit about the Star Wars prequels, but the force squandered the last Jedi are the laughing stock of the Star Wars franchise. It’s 2019 and they haven’t even released a trailer for episode 9. Will they leave the fans hanging by a thread? Will the director and producers bring back important characters like Anakin and Landon Calrissian? Fans can only hope that the next episode will save the trilogy and not spell Death for the Star Wars universe. Until then… The fans are forced to wait.
Every time I hear this it makes me sad, I wish Anakin stayed at the Jedi temple or that he killed Palpatine when he was “weak”. He’ll always be my favorite SW character
I don't care what you Disney fanboys say, the Prequels are and always will be more epic. From the soundtrack to the battles. At least the prequels feel like George Lucas star wars.. You can keep your weak soundtrack and A New Hope reboot storyline.
@Ivan Ringle Sequels have no emotions. They are for kids. Only stupid action. The characters are so silly. The story makes no sense. TFA and TLJ should be removed from canon.
Name me 3 scenes in the sequel trilogy that have emotions as powerful as this. The OT and Prequels were an almost perfect story and Disney gave us Poodoo
Honestly not gonna lie I cried at revenge of the Sith. Not many films can do that. It's just so tragic. I see so much of myself in anakin. I am very lucky that I stayed with my pregnant missus and didn't go off and do something stupid. For when I felt the world was against me. She was there. This film is like a crossroads and like my life it shows 2 different paths and I'm so glad I didn't choose (sorry to be cliche) dark path
"i call upon the dark council to kill this fool, now! the emperor commands it! Darth Marr, strike on the emperor's behalf, or suffer his disfavour" "I believe i'll take my chances" "Ravage, has your sense left you as well. defend me! defend the voice" "i will not stand in the path of the emperor's wrath" "you think you've won, you think you can silence the emperor's true voice? deliver the death blow then, from beyond darkness i shall strike at you, someday, vengeance will be mine!" "No one dare stand in my way, let this be a message to you all"
"Peace is a lie, there is only pie, through pie i gain weight, through weight i gain width, through width my belts are broken, the force has nothing to do with it"
Captain JCRobinX11 it sounds very similar! interestingly in the bonus features to force awakens John Williams said that Kylo Ren's theme was actually the imperial march (Vader's theme) in reverse.

star wars revenge of the sith is the darkest, deepest and most emotional star wars film. That is my opinion
I agree my friend, darker than than Empire strikes back!...I got teary eyed for "you were my brother Anakin!" no other Star Wars film did that for me.

"Find him... Find him... Fives.... Find him! FIVES!!!"
This is my favorite Star wars movie with its kick ass music to its epic fights
One of the best moments in star wars and movie history
This music with reexperiencing order 66 with Ashoka was the best moment of episode 11
I remember hearing this music during the kamino mission in battlefront 2. It made the mission so emotional..
Song- “Anakin’s Dark Deeds”
Scene- 1:25-Anakin is the father isn’t he? I’m so sorry.
Ahsoka :(
Bailey Fives!!
Probably the number 1 piece of music in the entire series. The emotional value this holds is great, both in music wise and in the sense of the plot.
I'm so sorry... :(
Palpatine: Execute Order 66
Rex: Yes... Lord Sidious.
I cried no lie
Of all the prequels I like this one the most, because of its' dark tones and tragic story. And the brillant soundtrack of course!

This scene shows you don't need a battle for a good movie. The conversation that goes with this pulled some heartstrings.
Obi-Wan: “When was the last time you saw him?”
