The mod takes its name from the first book in the series, as well as the “game” of plots and politics the ambitious and hopeful are said to be playing in their struggles for supremacy."
"A Song of Ice and Fire (commonly abbreviated as ASoIaF) is an ongoing series of epic fantasy novels by American novelist and screenwriter George R. R. Martin. Martin began writing the series in 1991 and the first volume was published in 1996.
The story of A Song of Ice and Fire takes place in a fictional world, primarily on a continent called Westeros but also on a large landmass to the east, known as Essos. Most of the characters are human but as the series progresses others are introduced, such as the cold and menacing supernatural Others from the far North and fire-breathing dragons from the East, both thought to be extinct by the humans of the story. There are three principal story lines in the series: the chronicling of a dynastic civil war for control of Westeros among several competing families; the rising threat of the Others, who dwell beyond an immense wall of ice that forms Westeros' northern border; and the ambition of Daenerys Targaryen, the exiled daughter of a king who was murdered in another civil war fifteen years before, to return to Westeros and claim her rightful throne. As the series progresses, the three story lines become increasingly interwoven and dependent upon each other."

Muppet Tullys couldn't make up their mind on who to suport until near the end of the war (the dying old man was a green while his grandsons suported the blacks).
In terms of being the kingdom where the houses are more or less 100% loyal to their liege lord, being renowned for honour and integrity, as well as their warriors, the Arryns and the Vale are basically the Andal equivalent of the Stark and the North.
It sounds like they had a awful lot of infight and betrayal during the centuries though... i am not sure that comparison hold. Furthermore, right now the Vale is a hot pot of conspiracies and treason, as well as being fertile ground for Littlefinger scheming. The houses of the Vale are not as steadfast and incorruptible as they claim to be...

13:00 Isembard Arryn actually lives through the Arryn sucession crisis. He is defeated early on and thrown into prison, but later is pardoned and made Master of Coin during Aegons III. regency and reign.

My favorite House in The Vale is Corbray because of Ser Gwayne Corbray and his epic dual with King Daemon Blackfyre they both were amazing.

A very cool and fitting fanfic set of words i read for House Corbray once was "Feed the crows", which have always been my canonical house words since i read them, as they sound quite in line with the sigil and the martial tendency of the house itself.

I really enjoy that it looks like you caught the Woodhull situation... we want every single canon house playable as a game design goal for all fans to be able to access all houses, but splitting the Paps into 2 counties would have been insane, so making Henrietta from a lesser branch so she could reasonably technically be from the Paps was what we chose as our best bandaid. Cheers!

37:35 those houses are in fact sworn to house Royce in the game too, that's why they don't have their own de jure duchy because they are under Runestone

Specifically around 27:40 and for the next 15-20 seconds, it is incredibly clear that you are reading from a script, and you can hear random very bassy sounds.
Just fyi for future videos, it really takes one out of it.
I don't read from a script, but I do put my notes into sentences while recording. I think the bassy sounds are me hitting my mic by accident lol, I'll be more careful in the future
